Beyond the basic beverages at this Oswego cafe. Candy Cloud is a colorful place to hang out or get something to go. It has plenty to sip on including coffee and lemonade. Also a few things to eat. The prices are too high but great stuff. A lot of menu items available. It's got a couple of order screens where customers place their own orders. There's a crap ton to choose from so the line can be a long wait. Beverages are the main things to get. It's about $5 to get most of the coffees, which are cold or hot. We saw a lot of interesting ones. I got the Matcha Latte. Pretty typical but there was the right amount of sweetness. Has some food. Mostly basic stuff. It's about $2 to get a hash brown. Yes that is not even a couple of hash browns, but they taste pretty good though. It's about $5 to get a few pretzel bites. The beverages are obviously better than the food in terms of price and quality. For sure it's got lots to choose from. It's in front of the one strip mall with Target and some other stores. Great drink options and decent snacks too but I haven't landed on something I really like just yet. First time I stopped in I got the Golden Hour Breve and it was pretty good but still a little bit too much on the sweet side for me. On my second trip I brought my nieces along who were super excited because they had seen some of the drinks on TikTok. One got a golden hour breve which she really enjoyed except that she went against my advice and asked for extra drizzle and vanilla bean cold foam so the bottom of the drink was just like concentrated sweetness. The other one got an iced milk tea with the brown sugar boba and vanilla bean cold foam and was "in heaven" with how good the drink was according to her. I got the seasonal horchata latte for myself and it was a decent take on the drink and worth trying but I think I preferred the golden hour breve. My nieces also tried the chocolate chip cookie and cinnamon sugar donut bites with caramel sauce. They liked the cookies but thought they'd be more warm/fresh out of the oven. They loved the donut bites with that tasty caramel sauce though. I think I might give the pretzel bites option a try next time I stop in. The shop has a really clean look and feel. It's pretty hands off with kiosk ordering and digital menus but when the staff did interact with customers they were friendly. Unless you're going to be downing your drink quickly I would suggest ordering extra ice when it's warmer out. Both times I ordered I noticed my ice was gone pretty quickly. I know it's a normal thing that happens when you have hot coffee or boba syrup mixing with iced elements but just thought I'd mention it to give a heads up to others. read more

I love Candy Cloud, and have always ordered through Uber Eats. This time I got the app and ordered from them to get points...lol. Unfortunately, they are contracted with DoorDash. Hopefully they will cancel their contract with them, as I had a $45 order, 90 minutes after ordering and getting longer and longer delivery times, DoorDash canceled the order. I called and was told they could only refund $11 of processing and tip fees. When I called Candy Cloud to get the other $34 refunded, I first found out that DoorDash did, in fact, pick up our order, before canceling it w/o refunding me. I had gotten the manager of the Oswego IL location, and she was phenomenal!.... offered to remake the whole order and have one of her staff deliver it to us. Considering that this offer only costs them money, for a mistake (or theft) that DoorDash made, it only reiterated what I already knew: DoorDash is HORRIBLE; Candy Cloud is AWESOME!!!!! My daughter begged me to take her and her friend here. I had not planned on getting anything until I spotted their homemade Horchata on the menu, I'm a sucker for Horchata. At first I was skeptical because this wasn't a Mexican restaurant and those places usually have the best Horchata. I was pleasantly surprised, the Horchata from Candy Cloud was outstanding. My daughter and her friend each ordered some sort of coconut lemonade drinks which they added boba and cold foam to. They said they loved their drinks as well. Service was fast and friendly. I'm so glad I stopped by this new specialty drink and coffee shop near me! I tried their vanilla protein coffee, which was delicious, smooth, flavorful, and a great pick-me-up. I also had fun making my own custom frappé with their create your own frap option which is such a great idea! They also have many kid friendly snacks and drinks. The atmosphere is simple, clean, and welcoming, perfect for relaxing or grabbing a drink on the go. The customer service was excellent as well, everyone was friendly and helpful. I also appreciated the two self-serve kiosks, they make ordering super quick and convenient. I'll definitely be back to try more drinks. Highly recommend checking them out if you're in the area! Parking can be slim and it is a one way in front of the store with only two spots available, so I recommend parking in that first small lot. read more

What a cute spot and concept! We went for the grand opening and the line was long but it moved very quickly. The service was friendly and fast and they took the time to explain options if you ordered with the staff as opposed to the touch screens. The touchscreen option is nice though! There were lots of delicious looking options, we tried a Skinny Strawberry Lemonade and a Strawberry Matcha both were delicious with real strawberry on the bottom and we also ordered a rocket pop just be be festive. I love the can concept. It makes it easy to buy one for now and one for later. read more
