This is the consistency of the tapioca is that of reheated old tapioca. I have worked at a bubble tea shop where they reheated tapioca and this is the same consistency. The tea itself is so watered down. The milk tea is almost translucent because that's how little content there is in it. I get there aren't many bubble tea places in this immediate vicinity. I'd recommend trying a fruit tea if you're really in a pinch.

The boba shop itself was pretty busy, lines even with two self order kiosks. I got the brown sugar milk, was overall pretty disappointed. The brown sugar and milk tasted fine, but the boba was hard and tasteless; didn't taste like it was cooked in brown sugar. Later asked my sister why they go there, the answer was more gear towards being at the food court and letting people pick whatever shop they wanted to be at.
