It is with an immense sense of appreciation for the finer points of domestic governance that I commit to this parchment a dedicated testament to the flawless conduct of the floor attendants, whose performance during our recent visit reflected a level of professionalism that commands the absolute respect of any person of quality, for they moved about their various duties with a quiet, synchronized, and almost ghost-like grace that ensured the harmony of the room was never once disrupted by an unseemly noise or a hurried step, displaying from the very moment of our reception at the portal a profound deference and a genuine, heartfelt warmth that was entirely free from any vulgar familiarity, while demonstrating an almost supernatural intuition by constantly replenishing our vessels and anticipating our every unspoken need with an admirable, breathless swiftness that easily merits a perfect score of ten out of ten, thereby setting an elevated standard of elite hospitality that left us feeling thoroughly cherished and honored as the most distinguished guests of the house.

They are no longer open in Bossier City, too bad since they had great pictures of their chocolates.read more

If you give it a few minutes you'll start to think you're in a place in Little Italy waiting for one of the Sopranos to walk in. Nice. Very gracious host and very quick service for lunch. Our server was really efficient and sweet. She even helped identify the photo on the wall (one of many showing famous people eating spaghetti) of Marcello Mastroianni, a famous actor from the 60's. Wife thought he was James Dean. The pasta is obviously homemade and perfectly al dente. Meatballs are large and luscious with just the right amount of garlic and spice. I was surprised at the color of the gravy but it was fantastic, just enough sweet garlic and tomato flavor to linger in the mouth. We had the in-house garlic bread. The bread is infused with real garlic and is tender and just enough chew to be satisfying. The crust is crunchy and has a mild smoky flavor. My only complaint for the whole experience was the warm baked bread came with a pat of FROZEN butter. A little jarring but the bread was warm enough to melt it a little, eventually. We got to-go boxes and took home as much as we ate. Get extra bread to go, it's that good (bring your own warm butter). We're on a tour of Shreveport lunch spots and this one is now on the official permanent rotation! Thank you!

I like this store and visit it during this time moreso than when they are selling sparklers in the heat of the summer. Lots of neat things here, great displays, creepy crawlies and other things to give you the grossout or heebie jeebies that you might require of yourself, guests or co-workers. As Hallow's Eve approaches, the busier this place becomes, so be aware. Be very aware. Something wicked this way comes. And it's usually my credit card bill after financially overextending myself at this place. They do accept credit cards by the way. They are open 10am-8pm Monday-Saturday and 12pm-6pm on Sundays. They will remain open until November 2nd, and after October 17th-ALL SALES ARE FINAL!!! Muuuuuaaaahhhaaaahhhaaa!!!
