Where is the dark chocolate?! We kept coming back looking for it and there wasn't any. So if you're searching for dark chocolate...don't get your hopes up. At best you can get truffles. Found this place on my visit to Louisiana some years ago and I thought the candy apples and chocolate were the best. I saw they had some items (not their whole menu) that could be delivered so I ordered 4 apples. I thought they would of arrived in some kind of cooler of some sort such as when you order meal prep. Apples were packed in a box with disposable ice packs that probably melted as soon as it left the store. The chocolate was a Lil white on some parts I assumed it was because of different temps of traveling but the apple inside was juicy when I cut it open. I was a little afraid to eat it the box was even hot when it came. I honestly wouldn't recommend delivery especially long distance as Cali just go and pay them a visit when in town you won't be disappointed. read more

They tempted me in with their chocolate covered apples, which were oh so delicious. There was a sign saying that they made dog treats. Out of curiosity, I purchased a bag, which contained three for only $3.99. My fathers dog enjoyed the treats, and he is one picky eater. After he scarfed them down, I went back and purchased two more before leaving Louisiana. Word of advice, if you have a picky eater, this is a treat to give a try. read more

The hours posted on their website are incorrect. The staff are somewhat indifferent and uninspiring which tells me that the ownership has a challenge with hiring competent staff. This is a very expensive place to shop. Be ready for sticker shock. All that said, the chocolate preparations are excellent. read more

Update: Went back today hoping things would be better. They are worse than ever. Do Not waste your time or money! This place is hit or miss at best. My husband bought 12 chocolate covered strawberries and 12 chocolate covered cherries yesterday. Which are both very expensive. The strawberries were very tart not ripe at all. The cherries and chocolate were so old that the chocolate was grainy instead of creamy. Huge disappointment. read more

I was promptly greeted by three girls whenever I entered the store. They immediately went back to making chocolates. I was the only customer in the store. Whenever I made my selection, I stood by the register for several minutes waiting to be helped. One of the girls even walked past me to rearrange a few things at the front of the store. I would have liked to try a few of the products but I couldn't get anyone to look up from what they were doing to help me. read more

Some great selections for those that are in love with chocolate or those who are looking for a special treat. I'm more of a carmel fan, so I got a candy apple. The monster croc to be exact. So good! I came here today and the place was packed! I was pleased with my Snicker's and Reese's apples, but one thing really irked me today. Two employees who were wiping off apples were not wearing gloves, and when I asked the employee at the register why they were not wearing gloves, the employee turned around and asked them to put on gloves and the girl rolled her eyes, at him and me. I went to tell the Store Manager and she told me that, they could not peel the stickers off with gloves and that if they break the skin, the apple has to be thrown away anyways. I'll leave this researcher's statement here, "The researchers were surprised to find that even dipping the apple in hot caramel did not kill all the surface bacteria. And the coating of caramel created an ideal layer for bacteria to grow."(source below) This is a statement from a 2014 listeria out break, involving caramel apples.
