If I could give this place a ZERO STAR review, I would Absolutely the worst nail salon experience I've ever had. I gave this place two chances, and both were disasters. The salon is filthy--tools, counters, everything. The first time, the nail color looked fine, but a nail popped off weeks later. I should've known better than to return. Today was the final straw. The man who worked on me--Dewey--showed up an hour and a half late, didn't bother to say hello, and actually picked a tool up off the floor and stuck it back in a drawer. His attitude was nasty from the start. I chose a gel color, and he tried to "match" it with a powder that looked nothing like it. When I calmly said I didn't like the mismatch, he got irritated and acted like I was inconveniencing him. Meanwhile I'd already been soaking my nails in acetone for 45 minutes because another employee gave me the wrong instructions--something he loudly scolded her for in front of customers. After all that, when he couldn't get the color right, he basically shrugged and sent me on my way. Dirty salon, rude staff, zero professionalism. Save yourself the headache and go literally anywhere else. read more

I have been going here for years now. Typically the service is great but on Wednesday, February 26, I realized that I would NEVER step foot in that salon again. Business owners and their employees (Michelle & another employee), should keep their political views to themselves because they serve clients from all political backgrounds. As a business owner that was not born in the United States, you should not participate in conversations regarding illegal immigrants with a client during business hours, especially when you don't fully know the backgrounds of your other clients in your salon. I just had my mani/pedi at the Princess Nail salon in Cane Bay. The shop is beautiful. Service was prompt. Josh, my nail technician, is the best nail technician I have ever used (I am 68 years old). He has a great demeanor, very professional, a great eye for detail, and takes the time to make sure your nails are exactly what you asked for and they are perfectly done. Not to mention his is nice looking. The ambiance of the shop was great - they were playing the best music (Sade). I won't go anywhere else now. read more

By far the worst place in Summerville! If I can leave no stars I would! The lady was so rough the entire time with my feet. Then when done with the polish it looked like a five year old did it. When taking off the gel she was even more rough with my cuticles that they were burning!! I requested someone else and everyone had an attitude about it. Let my 11 year old go to get her nails done with a friend. To remove old polish, and paint her nails with gel polish they charged her $40. She came home with white gel paint all over her fingers and I had to clean it up 100 percent acetone and and alcohol. The sad thing is I even sent her with a note so they knew what to do. It's not the worst mani I've ever had, but it's a close 2nd. Got a gel mani and the gal was so fast and sloppy and half the time she was looking at the door rather than what she was doing on my nails. I had to go home and file down the sharp edges because she didn't. I have polish that is thick and overlapping onto my skin rather than being confined to my nail. $50 for a crappy job doesn't make me happy. Two days later the polish is chipping off. I've been here twice now and both times I've gotten a great gel fill and the cost wasn't outrageous. Both times the gentleman made sure my nails were even in length with both hands. My nails were smooth on the tops and also level which means the next time I may try for a matte nail. Matte topcoat is super unforgiving so if the nail technician doesn't make sure your nails are level and not lumpy the finished product will look terrible. (I've made previous technicians at other establishments refinish my nails because of the lumpiness). Fair warning this establishment is very busy so walking in doesn't usually work. Also, there is only two people that work with gel. My next visit will be for a pedicure which I have yet to try here. read more

I can't really say how their work is because I didn't stay. Upon entering, we were not greeted at all. There was no sign in sheet, and every time I tried to get their attention they acted as if they were so busy that they couldn't look up to assist in any way. They could possibly do great work, but I probably wont be finidng out anytime since there are so many other options that are convenient and good for me. I've been here several times in the past year and Im starting to believe they don't have set prices for their service!!!! Usually my go to is a full set mani acrylic with gel polish and gel polish pedi costs me 110$. This past week I went in and only asked for a gel mani pedi NO acrylic nothing extra. They hand me a basket of maybe 20 color options half of the color wheels are broken... and i walked out spending 100$. Why was it the same price? 45 bucks for an acrylic fill and gel color is entirely too expensive... they did a good job but I was charged for what I usually pay for a full set not just a regular fill. They were kind but only one person can do acrylic nails so I waited over an hour which wasn't for me on a Saturday morning as soon as they opened. read more
