What can I say about this place.. it is amazing how they do what they do and make use big old Incredible Hulk beat feel good. My wife picks on me and says when they're speaking and I can't understand them that they are probably talking about how big my feet are LOL. I'm not really sure but I know one thing.. when you find someone who does a great job remember their name so that you can request them every time. It's been a few months since my last pedicure so it was time for some pampering. I used my Yelp app and typed "pedicures" and saw this new salon in my area and was drawn to the interior design and comfy looking chairs -- it did not disappoint!! I'm so glad this salon is here in Sangaree, felt like I was in Mt Pleasant with the bougie interior and lil drinky drinks! Hehe I didn't have an appointment so waited a few minutes but time goes by quickly when I have my book. The front area has manicure stations with massage pedicure chairs in the side. They also offer waxing and facials too. I was led to a back area which revealed even more spacious seating of pedicure chairs, would be good for private parties! It's super calming and relaxing hearing the water running and basking in the soft, cool lighting. After a few more minutes a lady by the name of Jennifer came through and provided a nice menu and book of nail color options. I liked the menu because initially I wanted a simple pedicure but the learned about the variety of services they offered and chose the deluxe version -- sounded like heaven with its exfoliating, hot stones, hot towels, and wax. Jennifer did an incredible job with the massage and focused on my sore areas. The chairs are ultra comfy and the basin is protected with a plastic covering which I appreciate for hygienic purposes. Terrible! Do not go here if you value hygiene and your health! Made my toes bleed, scrubbed my leg until I had rug burn, almost filed through my nail when removing gel polish. I should've noticed that they don't allow new reviews to be posted on Google. That is a major red flag! If you give good service then why would you disable reviews? Also they should be reported to the health department. They tried to use tools from an open package of tools on me rather than opening an unopened pack of sanitized tools. I'm honestly sad to leave this review. I thought that I had found my new nail salon, but after the experience I had yesterday, I unfortunately will not be back. From the very start of the appointment, I was not greeted by Helen. She walked so far ahead of me that I did not even see which side of the nail room she went into. She instructed me to put my feet into the water, and it was scalding hot. I removed my feet quickly, and then she turned it to cold water. She did not speak to me through the entire appointment. In the 30 years that I have had pedicures done, I have never had one that caused pain. She was very rough with the callus removal to the point where I yelled OUCH! And she stopped. She threw the tool on the bottom of her cart and painted my nails. She finished, put my sandals on, and I left. I immediately went to the store, and both of my feet started hurting. They were burning. I looked at the bottom of my feet, and they were bleeding. They looked like there were tiny cuts all over both of my feet. I left the store, went back to the salon,and asked to speak to the manager. I was told to have a seat by one of the nail bowls where the receptionist took pictures and put a Band Aide on one of the open sores on the bottom of my heel. Then she requested a male who was sitting in the seat beside me playing on his phone ,Join her at the register. She came back and handed me a card with an offer of 25% off the next time I come back! The manager would not speak to me. Helen was working on someone's nails and never even looked up or spoke to me to apologize. The manager did not speak to me, and the receptionist, although nice, did not apologize. I understand that mistakes can happen. But the way they handled this was unacceptable. 24 hours later, my feet are still very sore. My Birkenstock sandals have blood stains all over them, and I paid 80 plus a tip to "relax and pamper myself." I will not be back! Sometimes, all it takes is a simple "I am sorry". read more

Very disappointed. Got my nails done with dipping powder and it only lasted two weeks. I have never had dipped nails chip or crack (I've been getting dipped nails for over ten years), but they did after having them done here. Excellent relaxing pedicure. So much wrong with this place. I've never had gel nails fall off before but within one week, they all fell off!!!! Prices are not listed online anywhere so we were rushed to choose a "package" of all these add -ons that I didn't want. I asked for no massages, lotions, hot oils, hot stones, volcano wax, etc.....I just wanted a basic manicure and pedicure but was charged way more at the end. I argued with them at the counter but they acted like they couldn't understand my English all of a sudden and we were already there for over 3 hours so I paid and left. Also something that I've never seen before, they Had several people do my nails so I ended up being asked to tip 3 times! and last but not least, an alcoholic beverage was included in the package I paid for that I never received. First I'd like to say that I was very happy with the end result. Also the service was very timely. I thought it was a lovely salon and i didn't have to wait at all. I noticed pretty quickly that the young man was preoccupied with his cell phone. It was clear he didn't want to talk and that was fine! I just saw him stop multiple times to read or respond. I think this is disrespectful. Also after my gel polish had dried he said you are done and immediately went to restroom and then outside to smoke. No goodbye or thank you. Perhaps he might consider a career behind the scenes. This made me wonder about their sanitation practices. The young lady at the front desk was so nice. It really is an unfortunate situation, but this company does not honor its work. Four days ago my wife had nails put on. The very next day, one nail fell off. She stopped in and had it fixed. She was asked to pay, which she did, and tipped. The next day another nail fell off. She was asked to pay, which she did, and tipped. The next day another nail fell off. She went back in and they did not charge her. She asked what is going on and the technician said the glue was placed too thin. Well today, two more nails fell off. She called the store and the manager said he would fix the nails that fell off at no charge, but not fix the remaining nails. My wife explained the nails that have been fixed have stayed in place. She also explained what the prior tech stated regarding the thin glue. The manager stated he would fix the two nails and nothing more. It really is sad given this place just opened.
