There is a laundromat about 8 miles away. There's plenty of shopping choices within a few miles. Food Lion & Dollar General are a short drive away (8-9 miles). Burlington is 12-ish miles away & has most any store or restaurant one might need. The landscaping is lovely, with a variety of flowers all around the park. Attentive owners, reasonably priced, clean, & quiet. We were here for a couple of months while my husband was working in the area. If he ever gets called back, this is the RV park we'll call 1st. Plenty of shopping options within a short drive.

It is very pet friendly (many campers have dogs) with trails along the lake and to the river. It's a popular fishing spot, although we didn't go since it's winter as of this writing. Bobby, who maintains the grounds is super helpful & attentive to any challenges that arise with the site and our needs. Scott, the owner, was very accommodating. The owner of the place keeps everything well kept up and clean. I enjoy the peacefulness of this place and often take walks around the pond/property. There are always kids/families outside as well as neighbors walking their dogs. I feel very safe living here and enjoy getting to hear the ducks quacking everyday. I look forward to hammocks in the trees and campfires once the weather gets warmer. :)

The…read morebathhouses seem like they had just recently been remodeled, and they were beautiful and very clean and updated. The lake that the campground is on is very pretty. There are some nice playgrounds for the kids, not big but they get the job done. The pool is small, but nice for kids to play and hang out. There are no fire pits at the spaces so that was a little disappointing. The spaces are very small, but paved. Lots of roots and trees around, so there is not much even ground even for sitting at the picnic tables. Definitely a more family friendly feel, and with the space is being so close. It's not a very relaxing campground with peace and quiet if that's what you're looking for. It wasn't overly loud or people partying it up or anything, but just not a private campground if that's what you're looking for. For $40 a night, I would say that it is well worth the money and our kids had a great time!

Its just a raw dog hose hanging off in the hole. So lovely at your door. If we didnt just travel 12 hours I would have kept moving because this place is terrible. You dont wanna stop here!! Springhill is a wonderful wooded spot to live in or stay in temporarily.

We received a comprehensiveness orientation to the Park.....he then lead us to our huge spacious treed site with a large concrete patio. He assisted us in backing into the proper position....he made sure we knew where the services on our site. Very quiet park....twice weekly onsite trash pick up....felt very secure......comes with cable and lots of over the air T V. Electricity is extra....propane refill in the park at a reasonable price. We stayed for a month....very resonable. We were here for a surgery at Duke Medical Center which is about a half hour drive. Several historical points of interest close by....theater....botanical gardens....lots of college sports and attractions. No on site Laundry....however several laundromats in the near by town....several grocery stores and restaurants of a nice variety and shopping within a 20min. Drive..... And the Staff handout goodies to the Dogs.....the Dogs love the Friendly Staff too.
