Nice park, sites are big and gravel, full hook up. Ours site had lots of shade. Internet was very bad. Check in Post Covid was very Covid like. Entering the office is a no no all communication is via phone or email. No, refunds despite all the rain from Hurricane Debby, so be aware. read more

Over the past five years, I've stayed at this campground at different times and have always enjoyed it. Large roomy campsites with gravel driveways and grassy areas, vehicles are not allowed to park on grass. The fire rings DO NOT have grates, just an open fire ring. They have 56 sites with full hookups, and one site, #57 has electric and water but no sewer. I stayed on site #57 twice and had no issues. They don't have a dump site. Big dumpster for bagged trash for your convenience. There is a large area to store your camper, I don't know the cost. A lot of walking areas. Pets need to be leashed and you clean up after them, so bring your own bags. Lots and lots of beautiful flowers, shrubs and trees And the grounds are well maintained. They DO NOT have a camp store, therefore, no ice, propane, etc. They have a great bathhouse, I used that instead of my shower in the camper. This campground is very convenient to the interstates and lots and lots of restaurants and shopping. My only minus would be; no one is allowed inside the office. You need to knock on door and wait for someone to answer and finish the paperwork on their front deck, or if you are after hours, they have a box with paperwork. This year I was there for a month, but not continuously, I left for a few days to boondock on my daughter's property but I had issues with the inverter and generator, so I went back to Jones Station. The were very helpful on the dates and I was very grateful that I could stay a few more days that turned into a month. It rained quite a few days but never had an issue with puddles, except in the ladies bathroom. I'm sure they're working on that. Very quiet campground and the cicadas were white noise to me. I will definitely visit again. read more

They were full during our overnight stay but they let us stay in their overflow site between the office and bathhouse for a discounted fee. It had full hookups but only 30 amps. Good for an overnight. Nice clean park. Gravel roads and long, wide paved sites. Big rig friendly. No off leash dog park but plenty of room to walk dogs. Location is about 3 miles from interstate on country roads. Easy to find. Staff was really helpful and accommodating. Met the owners who stopped by to say hello. Nice bathhouse, very clean. No laundry yet but there are indications that they're expanding. Also they take reservations which I highly recommend since there's not many other options in the area and they fill up fast. Would stay here again. One odd thing happened during check-in: They accept Visa, MasterCard and Discover as payment but the guy at check-in refused to take my Capital One MasterCard. Told me they don't take Capital One. I don't understand why when it's clearly a MasterCard. I did pay with another MasterCard tho. Anyway, if you only carry Capital One cards, you might be out of luck here. read more

So clean and well maintained. Also very quiet and great for families with kids. So many restaurants around the campground too.

My family and I stayed this past weekend and we loved every second of it. Quiet community, very clean bath house with spacious showers and changing stations. WiFi was surprisingly good. Very easy check in with easy check out as well. There is a Walmart and a few fast food restaurants just 5-10 minutes away. Thank you for the great experience. read more

GREAT little RV Park!! This is a lovely new RV park with only about 40 sites--so call early! They are expanding. The owners are wonderful people. The sites are level and spacious--mostly with trees. They did have fire pits but too cold for us to use during our 1-night stay. The facilities were SPOTLESS!! It had a nice playground for the kids and a big field for our Chessie to run! Wi-Fi was spotty but that may have been us. We will definitely come back to this very-well maintained park again! Thanks for the hospitality!! read more

Beautiful new park opened a year ago (12/31/2013). Awesome level lots with trees in between and all the amenities. Free wifi. The bathroom was clean and nicely decorated; showers were hot! The park is out a couple miles from the highway through a suburb. It was nice and quiet. The owner is friendly and helpful. Our dogs loved it too. We camped one night in a 5th wheel. read more

This is a beautiful park. The grass is well kept, and overall the park had plenty of trees. You can tell the owners took great pains to maintain the trees when the campground was built. We camped in a 43 foot fifth wheel with slide outs on both sides and an awning, and while we had plenty of shade there were no branches to contend with. The sites all seem very nice and not too close together. Maneuvering in the park with our truck and camper was a breeze. The site pads are well maintained gravel. The park was very quiet even though the campground was full. There is a playground but not much for teen kids to do which might be why it is so quiet. There isn't cable at the campground but there are plenty of over the air digital channels for occasional tv watching. The drive off the interstate is an easy drive with no obstacles. WiFi was really excellent most of the time but did seem to go down at times as well. If you're looking for an overnight stay near the interstate but far enough away to be quiet, or a peaceful weekend I don't think you can beat this campground. read more

Great campground, which I hesitate to say as we love coming here to camp, and I really don't want it to get so popular we won't be able to get a site. Convenient to RTP, Raleigh, Durham and Burlington. Management is cordial and aims to please. WIFI is unpredictable but no more so than a lot of campgrounds. Rest rooms are spotless.Owner lives off-site but on-site help is always available. Quiet, peaceful area. read more

Flat Gravel lots with a very clean bathhouse. WiFi is horrible, please do better! unusable in the evening and poor in the AM-breakfast hours. the Utility hookups are backwards, blackwater way to the front, City water in the rear. Generally ok if you need to park for the night. Quite remote.15 minutes from anything. read more

AWSOME AWSOME AWSOME the evening started out with a late night stop over. usually getting to a new park is a Hassel with narrow roads and usually low hanging trees that destroy the top of your RV. none of that here the road ways were clearly marked the campsites clearly marked not with paper but actual reflective signs. I was able to check in at 9.00 at night on a Wednesday. usually you have to park in a holding lot until the office opens but Gary put us right on a site. a huge site with grass, Grass that was well manicured. I never like going to a site where I track mud in my RV and have a dust cloud engulf my Black truck. this place is ultra modern. I am happy we found it and I am sure I will be staying here more and more as I am in and out of this are traveling a lot. we original was slated to stay one night but have been here for three now and I don't want to leave. this place is so quiet. No chicken houses, No Cows and no COW FLYS. The WIFI is amazing. I have 4 bars and its fast. no throttling, like the pay as you go in most parks. And call me cheap but best of all it was FREE... Hats of to you Gary, you have done a fine job. and I was very impressed with your office area it looked more like a five star hotel lobby that a camp lodge. your taste is impeccable and I am sure you will go far. This campground is great. There is nothing negative I can say about it. From the phone call to makes reservations until we left, the owners were very personable and friendly. They wanted to make sure everything was ok with our stay with them. The campground is new and very neat and clean. The sites were well laid out and most accommodated big rigs well. It's out in the country where it is very peaceful but not so far off the interstate that you feel you have to drive forever to get to it. Good access from the interstate. I don't think you will be at all sorry you chose to stay with the Jonses. read more
