Brian and his team (both human and canine) are great! It is worth the drive to board your dogs with him or have him help with any issues.

The owners and staff are super professional, responsive and caring. They also have add ons such as snacks, pictures, brushing, etc., that you can choose on all visits, or just some special treat from time to time. We have not tried their boarding yet, but they look safe and comfortable for your best friend to find their new home when away from home. Booking for daycare and boarding are super easy thru their website account. I would highly recommend Buckaroo Creet in North Kingstown and would not trust our Aussie Labradoodle anywhere else, they are true animal lovers and treat our dog like one of their own. Maria L

From the moment we started bringing our dog, Chayce, we could tell this place was special. He is always beyond excited when we pull up, and seeing how happy he is to be there says everything. Sean, the owner, and his entire team go above and beyond every single time. They are professional, caring, and genuinely passionate about what they do. It gives us so much peace of mind knowing Chayce is in such great hands. Chayce absolutely loves Buckaroo Creek and can't wait to get inside every time he visits. I can't say enough good things about this place -- I highly recommend Buckaroo Creek to anyone looking for a top-notch, trustworthy, and caring facility for their dog!

This location used to be Companionway Kennel. It is under new ownership but essentially the same…read morestaff work there. We have had great experience using this kennel for the past 8 years. They recognize us on site and our dog is never afraid to be left off. We toured pretty much every kennel in the state (8-years ago) and this was by far the best choice. They kept their facilities clean and had friendly professional staff....not high school / college kids. The runs are decent size and our dog never comes back too stinky (i mean, it is a kennel...but not covered in feces or urine like other places we have been). hey also have Dog & cat grooming services. My biggest complaint is they are no longer open on sundays. This really ramps up the cost if you are just doing an overnight from Sat to Sun. Now I can't pick up my dog until Monday afternoon because I have to go to work all day first? That seems a little 'iffy to me.T

If I could rate this breeder a zero I would. We purchased a five month old male German Shepard…read morefrom here about two years ago. Once we started to train him and observe his behavior, it became evident that the dog was left unattended for long periods of time and the breeder was just in it for the money. This was reinforced by the fact that nobody ever answers the phone and there's no capability to leave a voice message. The dog obviously had no socialization with people or other animals in his first five months. He was overly aggressive from the beginning and constantly growled and lunged at people and other dogs, starting with the basic obedience class we attended. Despite hiring two reputable trainers, it was not possible to break him of the barking and lunging at people and other dogs. We have to keep him outside, or on a leash, with a muzzle, whenever anyone comes to visit. He even bit one of the trainers and came close to biting my son on the arm and my girlfriend in the face. I contacted four animal shelters and none of them would take him because they said he was too aggressive and therefore "unadoptable." I guess I'll just have to keep dealing with it. I've owned other Shepards before and never had a problem with training. They're smart dogs and usually learn quickly. I would recommend to anyone looking for a German Shepard to find a reputable breeder with good references and not someone just looking to make a buck.
