HORRIBLE!! I had a massage yesterday with Peter and it was a private massage in the private rooms. He was so aggressively hard that the massage table under me kept moving 2 feet and this happened about seven times. He kept having to drag the table back in place after I told him it was too hard. My back is still in pain. It's like I need another massage after Peter's "supposed massage." And he was super inappropriate and really really scary. He was massaging my neck and he came down to my face, near my ear and started breathing and blowing in it so I looked at him funny and he stopped but then he went to the other side and did the same thing to the other ear while he was massaging my neck. He was so close I could smell his breath and I've had this massage many times at other locations and no one has ever gotten that inappropriately close to me. Super inappropriate and scary. If you want to be harassed and treated like meat on a chopping block then go here. I will never go here again. Management needs to take care of Peter. For any future customers, especially ladies, I would stay away from Peter as your masseuse. read more

My boyfriend & I came in for a 90 minute massage each & everything went great until my boyfriend tipped each of our masseuses and both of them gave us an attitude and had the audacity to tell him to tip them more. The worse massage ever!! :( I was around te área a decided to get a foot massage. I found this spot on yelp. The men who massaged me was like in a rush and being very tough. He smelled like a cigarette and was burping on my face all the time. Then he answered phone calls numerous times while massaging. In the background a woman talking to her phone and Siri responding every 2 min that didn't understand her. I had to leave in the middle of the massage. I ended up with a big headache!! Thumbs down, waaay down!!!! I had a 1:30pm appointment today with my girlfriends and they didn't write it down. I should have known better when i booked if a week ago and I questioned the person on the phone if they want to write my name down. Whatever, they figured it out and took us 30 min later and what do they do? They are whispering, chatting, and giggling. WTF! I came in right after getting my hair done next door to supercuts . Gina did a great job!!! I stopped into Canna Spa "Skin and Foot Spa" to try out their full body massage. I usually drive to eagle rock shopping area called the relaxation stop to get one. With fuqll clothes I get an awesome deep tissue massage; $8.00 more than here at Cann Spa. But after my experience $8 and more is worth it. I've been to many different types of SPAs, massage businesses, from American, Swedish to Asian and private businesses that come to you. I try something at least once; to give whatever it is, a fair assessment, and take in cultural factors as well. Full body massage:$ 40 an hour Reason 1: having to undress down to only your undergarment (- minus brassiere) Reason 2: the cloth they used to cover you was a see through thin, thin bed sheet similar to jersey material. Here starts the series of" Chester the Molester"! Reason 3: not keeping essential body parts covered when massaging, felt exposed more than I already was. (Private area, and breasts) This may be part of their style here, but it was not a relaxing experience, especially since a man was massaging me and I was the only client in the building. Reason 4: massaging very close almost grazing my private area where I had to move or say something, then pulling undergarments down to where I can feel my private area being exposed. (Again not covering with jersey sheet) at this time your thinking I'm out of here. (I give him the benefit of a doubt, that maybe he's not conscious of what he is doing and is focused on massage) Reason 5: it didn't feel like a massage, it felt like a rub down with oil. Reason 6: A/C was not blowing when i was face down on the massage bed. He said he had to step out to get hot towels to take oils off. Conveniently he steps back in and the A/C is on blast. He then tells me to turn over. Shite, I'm thinking, how much longer can i endure of this? It's almost over... almost over. Reason 7: I am not used to having the upper chest/ breast and armpit area massaged, by any massage therapist. Upper chest and breast portion of the massage very uncomfortable and painful, downright violating. It included the very top to middle of the breast tissue and cleavage indentation. It went well below the collar bone and part of both my nipples were touched with full palm!!!. I had to move his hands. After said he was done; I checked the room for hidden cameras, in wall sockets and air vents. I walked out of that room feeling, like I just got molested! And gave me the hibby jibbies. Not good when you get that feeling. I took a picture of "Chester the Molester" while sitting in my car contemplating on what to do. Just in case I needed to tell someone. I still don't know what to do but this... I will definitely NOT recommend this place to anyone for a full body massage, especially if you are a woman. This place is not for anyone on any level. Worst place ever! Imagine wanting to go to a somewhere to get a nice, relaxing massage. Well, this place definitely was not it. The guy started with my back and then I realized I was getting hurt because of his nails. Then, he comes to my head and his hands smell. I ask him to wash his hands (I said please) and I think he just wet them. So I told him not to touch my face. Then, he beats my body like a drum and I'm groaning in pain and finally ask him to stop. I get an average of two or three full body massages per month for lower back pain. I have visited a number of local Spas with mixed results. Most have a high turn over rate of employees, so when you find a good therapist they are gone by the next appointment. I have had good luck at Canna. The full body is a deep massage and they will concentrate on specific areas if you point it out. The rooms are always clean and the staff very friendly. My wife and daughter both enjoy a foot massage there occasionally and are always happy with the results. I highly recommend Canna in Burbank. read more

It was horrible, im laying there naked on the table and the massuer kept opening the door to talk to people. ???? We walked in today because I have been driving by their $20.00 advertisement for a couple of weeks now. We weren't sure what to think from the outside at first. However, nervously we walked in and were greeted automatically with Friendly service. I would recommend this place to anyone! Did I mention it's clean?? PLUS! PLUS! Yesterday November 14th I wanted a reflexology massage because of the tension and knots in my palms and fingers from typing. I found this location a few minutes from work and decided to check it out. They were able to see me immediately and was very nice and accommodating. I got the 90 minutes reflexology foot massage for $30 which is a really good deal. I thoroughly enjoyed my massage. They even use a foot scrub on you towards the end of your massage. When paying, I used a Visa gift card because I didn't have cash on me. I also didn't have enough for tip so I decided to put $5 on the charge for tip. The guy that did my massage immediately objected and said " uh, you get a 90-minute massage...1hr massage $5 but you get 90-minute massage..." at first I didn't get what he was saying but then I realized he was objecting to my $5 tip and was asking for more money. Now, maybe I was being cheap and didn't realize because on the usual hour massage I would tip $5. So I said sir I have $2 would $7 be okay? He wasn't pleased with that amount either! I'm thinking he expected $10 or more. Here I thought I found a place that I really like and that does good work and at this current moment in my financial situation I was unable to do more than that and he's still questioning me about the amount of tip I was leaving. I left satisfied with my massage but disgusted at his objection. Take what you will from this review but this was my experience. I have been to the spa several times it is a hit and miss, but $30 for 90 minutes is the bomb! Even throw in a foot scrub- but sad to say I had made an appointment for my husband and me to have a 90 minute massage at 1 o'clock; we were able to come earlier and I called to change the appointment and I specifically asked for CeCe. When we got there no one seem to speak much English the girl who took me did not appear to be CeCe but I had only met her once. It was a new place for me so why not try something new?! I was really imaginative and asked for a 1.5 combo, which they didn't offer. The lady was nice! That's where the frolicking fun ends. I just remember a lot of pressing down on me. Press. Press. Press. I was dough. Press. No pressing that lead to pressing out of knots. Just press. And I remember a lot of movement. And also she would go to one place and do one thing, go to next, then come back to the same place and do the same thing. But with all that shuffling, no actual relief of muscles. It was so weird. Nay, it was fucked up. There was one time where things felt good. And that was nice while it lasted (2 minutes). It was the longest most unrelaxing massage. I do these things often and it was the first time where I felt like, this lady has no idea what she's doing! Like. AT ALL. Oh how could I forget. In that entire hour she didn't touch my arms shoulder, and neck. At a ALL. So in the 40 minute foot massage she had to fit in alllll that plus the feet. It felt so rushed. Which like if you're going in for 1.5 it shouldn't feel feel like that right? The whole thing was so stupid. I wanted to get up and leave several times but alas when you work hard for your money you just settle for mediocre. I left feel about 10% better in my body. So sad, a waste. Womp. Since I rely heavily on yelp reviews, I felt it was my duty, especially as a massage junkie, to let everyone know this is by far one of the consistently BEST places I've been to. I typically get the 60 minute full body massage in the private room for $40. I've also tried the 60 minute foot massage for $20 but the private room is the way to go if you would like a deep tissue massage. I stopped trying to request a specific individual to do my massage since I never seem to get him anyway even after complaining multiple times. I have subsequently been in and received random people each time and have been very happy. You will not find a better price in town for the experience. I initially stumbled upon this place as it's right across from Ralphs, I called them and decided to go in that same day! i was actually pregnant when I went for the first time and because of how big I was, I didn't experience the full massage, even though the guy who did it was really nice and gentle (considering I was pregnant) Welll I went in today and lemme just say that was the best 20 bucks (minus tip) I have EVER spent. I got a reflexology foot massage here and like most places that specializes in this i like that they soak your feet. Don't forget the phrase you get what you pay for, in my case i paid $20 for a 60 minute foot reflexology massage. This place could use a lot less light, the person i got was to rough for my taste so i did tell her a few times to lighten up on the touch. I like that they work in sections like your neck, shoulders, arms and feet and legs. I frequent a few places around town so I'm not new on how this works, they massage you over your clothes however my lady asked to take off my shirt which I didn't mind as i was laying face down then she asked to take off my bra (to which i was wearing a sports bra) again I don't mind but what about the people that don't feel comfortable, she literally took it off me, mind you this is one large room with various chairs/ beds do no walls which means there could be someone next to you getting the same service. When she was done she helped me put my bra and shirt back on while i was laying on my stomach face down. I got up she gave me water and charged me my $20. I gave her $40 and asked for change, she proceeded to give me $12 back stating she had no change... i was going to only give her $5 for her service but she tried to keep the rest of my change, NOT COOL. I had a quick overnight in DT Burbank and badly needed a massage on a Sunday within walking distance of my hotel. I showed up at opening to one a block away. But they never opened. I walked another half mile to a Thai massage spa, bit they couldn't get me in for another hour. So I kept walking. I was hesitant to try Canna based on the mixed reviews, but other online reviews were favorable, and I was desperate. I could not be more pleased! I opted for the combo massage which included 40 minutes deep tissue and a 30 minute chair massage. He found all my knots and used intense pressure (which I prefer). Yes, there is a language barrier, but pointing and charades worked fine. I have paid more than double for a similar massage. I can't wait to come back for another overnight and revisit this foot spa. I paid $40 and tipped another $20 and still feel like I got an incredible value for a high quality massage. And I got right in at 10:30 am on a Sunday. read more

I regular customer. My job requires a lot of sitting and it wreaks havoc in my neck and shoulders so I come here about once every few weeks for a massage. They really work out all my kinks. The "foot" massage is a misnomer. It is actually like a full body massage. They do neck, shoulders, legs, feet, arms, and head. Going in, you know that for $20 for an hourlong massage, it's not exactly a luxurious spa or anything like that but it is still worth it. Essentially you are in a room with a few massage beds next to each other. If there are other customers at the time, they usually put you as far away as possible to give us privacy. They essentially do a full body massage over your clothes and may use oil on your back if you want to remove your shirt. They have male and females masseurs, but if you are picky then call to see who is available. They sort of expect at least $10 tip for the hourlong massages, but considering the massage itself is so cheap, it is well worth it! They also sell certificates, and you get a free massage with every 5 (or 10?) certificates you buy. read more

My husband and I will not go back to this place!! It was our first time and we were just looking for a place to go to have a nice foot massage. Staff at front barely understood my questions regarding the specific choices on the menu. The place was pretty dark and dreary. The man that worked on me was extremely rough with his touch used his elbow pretty much the entire time on my back. He smelled of cigarettes especially his hands while touching my face. Was extremely unprofessional when he was massaging back. He yanked my shirt up and totally un-did my bra aggressively right out in the open. Never once asked how the pressure was. He just jammed on my back shoulders and neck with elbow which was extremely uncomfortable. I honestly do not think they change sheets on the table/bed being used. The man that worked on me kept wiping his nose with his hands then touching me. 100% DISGUSTED!! My husbands therapist if you would even call them therapists did not listen to my husband when asked to please go lighter with her touch as it was so hard (as she too used her elbow the whole time)my husband said he felt like he was going to throw up. On top of everything they began to gossip amongst each other in their language during our massages and totally felt as if they were talking about us. I felt disgusting and dirty took a shower as soon as I got home. BEWARE STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!! I am surprised this place is still in business.
