Pricing is very reasonable -- I paid $68 (with card) for a 60-minute massage. You can also request light, medium, or hard pressure when checking in. My therapist Ivy, was fantastic. She really focused on my problem areas: neck, shoulders, and back - and I left feeling noticeably better. The front desk staff was also very friendly and welcoming. Just know this is a no-frills experience. There aren't fully enclosed private rooms...massage areas are separated by curtains, so you may hear other clients. So annoyed at whoever called me today. She gave me an email that doesnt even exist. Their website says "info@yolofootspa.com". ... she told me to email info@yolofootspa@gmail.com. I had to cancel my 10am appt 5/6 because I don't feel well. I can't call in advance because they don't pick up before 10am. So I emailed them at 8am. This lady proceeds to tell me she's worked there 6 years and they never text ppl with the 507-690-6023 number. She said that they just have a robot text. I told her the robot confirms the appt. Not really the full-body therapy I expected. Instead, really a neck and shoulder rub, most of which was done through a sheet. I don't think my therapist had much training. That might explain smacking my skull with a fist and digging into the same spot repeatedly in my neck. No attention to my arms and legs. Made an appointment for my mom since she was referred by her PCP for a leg massage since her muscles are not as flexible due to her knee injury and he recommended this place. I assumed they have a like a context that they know how to massage certain areas for certain injuries. I know and I'm well aware it's a foot massage place and not a chiropractor office or not an advanced massage place for injuries but I listened to her PCP. I made it very clear when I made the appointment that they only need to work on her left leg muscles. We went in and the place looked ok, nothing fancy or crazy but It seemed ok for a foot massage place. The guy came and started massing my mom's arms and I thought maybe that's how they start, then started working on the right leg and I kept saying please focus on the left leg not knowing that he doesn't understand English. Finally I had to use sign language and show the lower part of her leg and he went in and called the front desk person to come in and translate for him. It was a total waste of time. This place is great. It was so easy to book a massage. He started off massaging my upper traps with some lotion (I didn't like the chemical scent of it but appreciate that it was sort of fragrance free) which felt incredible. I wish he had done my neck too. I appreciate that this was the perfect amount of time since I came for a foot massage I wanted that to be the focus and it was!!! No rubbing of the calves like so many other places. He did my feet the whole time other than my traps (while my feet soaked). I do wish he has spent time on my heels, lateral and dorsal foot but he focused solely on my arches. They must have needed it bc they felt SO fantastic when I left. My massage was medium- firm pressure where it was needed (he somehow knew) and at the same time I felt relief from tension. I came out with better focus and felt like a new person. What an amazing place for a foot massage. I did the 1 hour door reflexology. They start with a head and scalp massage, then to your neck then move down to your arms. Then they do your legs and feet while you play flat. They end by you sitting up to do your shoulders and then some pounds up and down the back. This is one of my favorite spots to get a massage in LA. They do a great job with foot massages. This is very important for me as I am training for my marathons. I have had great experiences all 4 times i have been here but my wife's experience was okay. She felt that her massage therapist was a little lazy. The prices are reasonable nowadays as those cheap massage places that used to be 20-30 are now 40 to 50. I recommend spending a little bit more and coming here. Prices range in the 60-80 but I believe it is well worth the money. This place has their own parking lot but it can get busy. I think I might be addicted to this place. Easy to book, easy parking, no nonsense. Not a fancy, luxurious spa type of place, but clean, (mostly) quiet * see below, professional, and never a bad massage. Clients are completely separated by curtains with full privacy. For reflexology and combo massages, you remain fully clothed unless you opt for the clothes-off body massage. The foot massages include a foot soak and short head massage. Before the massage, they always ask what kind of pressure you'd like. The only thing to call out is that a few nights I've been there, I've heard what sounded like a live band practice upstairs blaring away. I'd like to preface this by saying my first visit to this place was great, but my second visit completely changed my mind. My Second Experience: I specifically requested Summer, as she had done a great job previously. Upon arrival, the receptionist asked if I wanted hot stones (I declined) and if I had any focus areas (I requested extra attention to my forearms). I also opted for stronger pressure this time instead of medium, expecting a deep but controlled massage. However, Summer applied an extreme amount of pressure--far beyond anything I had ever experienced. It felt excessive and unrefined, and two days later, I woke up with sharp pain in my neck and back. I couldn't turn my head in either direction. It became clear that she was using improper techniques, including what felt like chiropractic maneuvers she is not qualified to perform. Adding to my frustration, she completely ignored my request to focus on my forearms. Worse, despite me declining hot stones at the front desk, she asked me again mid-session--similar to my first visit, where she used them without my consent. A week later, I am still recovering from the stiffness in my neck. It's a shame because I had high hopes after my first visit, but I won't be returning. I caution anyone considering this place to be extra careful with who they book and what they request. read more

I don't even know how I came across this place but I'm so glad I did. I called around 11am and was able to book a 30 min foot+60 min body massage for 2:15 later that day. The price was $80 for 90 minutes and it was well worth it. I was pleased to see a free parking lot when I arrived. The front desk was really nice and asked if I preferred soft, medium, or hard pressure (also asked if I prefer a male or female masseuse when I booked.) I was taken to my "room" immediately. The "rooms" are private spaces divided by curtains so you can hear other people while getting your massage but it didn't bother me at all. If you're looking for a super nice spa experience this probably isn't the place for you but if you just appreciate a really good massage in a clean space with a little noise and a great price, this is the place to be! Will definitely be back... the Hot Tongue pizza place next door is also a plus for a post massage fuel up! read more

Despite my varied experiences, I still think this is the best massage in the City of LA since pre-pandemic. I really like their front office staff, particularly the girl with the curly hair, a dark haired girl, and a guy with lighter brown hair. They seem to be the ones answering the phones and greeting guests. There's an older Asian lady who's passive aggressively judgmental and another younger Asian man who I think was the one who messed up my order last time. They have decent and talented massage therapists on staff; and everyone I've recommended got someone who helped alleviate their pain and felt the price was fair. I am so upset at my service today. I have been a client plenty of times and referred friends and family here but my service was disappointing. I came in wanting to focus on my shoulders and neck because I had a lot of pain. I let the front desk know when they asked me and thought they would let me masseuse know too. What felt like halfway through my service my neck and shoulders had barely been touched. When the service was over I let the front desk know and they said my masseuse probably forgot. The tables are hard, and the space for your head when you are face down is cut into the bed, not adjustable. So if you have a lot of neck tension, that might not work for you. I've had two massages here and neither one left me feeling relaxed. It seems as though the therapists are not massaging based on where you have tension or knots, but just sort of doing long, sweeping fore arm rolls, which I guess could work for some people, but not when you have a lot of tightness in your neck and shoulders or specific spots that need someone to use their hands and fingers. One of them tried to some stretching, but it was absolutely the wrong stretch for me and I had to stop it. It hurt and was uncomfortable. If you are going to stretch someone during a massage, you should really know what you are doing and whether that stretch is the right one for them. I won't be back. Neither therapist seemed to know how to massage a neck. Also, part of the thai massage aesthetic seems to be having curtains loosely drawn over rooms people are getting services, which is off putting for me. read more

This is not a reflection of the masseuses, they're great, and the massages are great. This is a review solely on the business practices. I was gifted two gift certificates during the early days of the pandemic. In that time, Yolo received a new owner and this new owner refused to honor one of the gift certificates because it didn't have a date on it and according to them it could not be verified that they wrote it. These were gifts from my family, and I hadn't returned to yolo until now because of the pandemic. It's disappointing to me that something as simple as a date makes the difference and my family spent $160 for nothing. No services were received for that money. The gift certificate says there's no expiration date, but they still refused it and wrote on the back that it's invalid. Additionally, there's no where on the cert that states void if "___" missing, which kind of makes the missing date feel arbitrary. So for those who've waited out the pandemic to return to YOLO, be aware they may not honor your gift certs. And for those buying gift certificates now, double and triple check that they will honor it. I won't be returning as I don't appreciate that kind of business practice. read more
