I've come to happy & relaxed a handful of times the past year or so, for IV Infusions on Saturdays and have always had a great experience. The nurses are very knowledgeable and experienced with IV insertion & always answer my questions about the vitamins, doses and which bag works for what I'm looking for. I have experienced vitamin deficiencies and autoimmune disease, so I like to try different types of supplements that can help me alleviate symptoms and manage my health overall. Notably, nurses Mehdi & Hilda have been really wonderful to work with. I don't have the best veins and they always get them on the first try! Which is HUGE for me since I am always afraid of being poked multiple times. I feel very comfortable here and they make you feel like family. It does get busy here but I think that's a testament to how great their service is and quality of their products. I have been a customer for several years I'd like to say more then 5yrs. My mom is a loyal customer that regularly purchases facial for the entire family as gifts. This past Saturday Nov. 2nd, I went in for a speciality facial, I believe It was the gold mask facial. I arrived on time and shortly after my esthetician arrived. I was called into the spa/ facial room and prepped. As I was about to sit on the bed for my facial I noticed It rocked forward which appeared to not be sturdy making It extremely uncomfortable for me to lie down and relax. Throughout my facial I also noticed the door wasn't fully shut and as my esthetician would walk in and out It remained opened. Not allowing me to feel relaxed. Not to mention I can hear all kinds of different noises from the rooms next door. I'm taking about full blown conversations. The next day my skin did not look good. In fact, It was dry, peeling and My pores looked just as they did before I came in. This facial felt like a drive through service. I can't see myself ever going back again. It is such a shame because the service at the location prior to the move was far greater and pleasant. Initially I was skeptical going to a place where I can meditate. I thought that I should be able to do that myself at my own home and don't really need to "drive" somewhere to find some peace. Well, after taking a tour of the facility, I found myself feeling Happy and Relaxed and even a little giddy. The atmosphere was so serene and calming from the second I walked in. Water fountains & healing crystals greeted me in the lobby. There are multiple rooms for various forms of mediation & relaxation. The entire facility is decorated with the most remarkable murals that extend into each room, including the bathrooms. What surprised me is that the use of this center is free. I have a favorite chair that I will sit in for hours. The need to check my phone for messages, disappears and the comfort I feel just being there is lovely. There are items and services available for purchase such as healing stones, music, and nutritional items. I actually had my first Reiki Healing session there and found myself more relaxed than I had felt in years. The owners, David and Neyda are extremely knowledgable about the aspects of Spiritual Awareness and happily share tools and resources for those seeking enrichment in their lives. Lady answers and I ask what are your rates for 1 hour deep tissue massage. 3 minutes later after asking several times that I want to know their rates, the asian lady on the phone keeps saying I have to book an appointment (without even knowing their rates, she simply ignored my question and refused to tell me their rates). I've gone to the same woman for massage on and off for the last few years at a different place. She started working here at Happy & Relaxed. I decided to go see her here, as the price was only about $8 more than what I was paying at the other place- and it was worth every penny! They have a private, CLEAN shower, with shampoo, conditioner and soap (if you forget- I brought my own)- they provide you with sealed, brand new flip flops and a hairbrush to use, fresh, clean towels, and a bathrobe. The massage room is off to the side and private, and really beautifully decorated, and serene. Alejandrina is the best if you want a great massage. She is really in tune with what you need. HUGE BONUS: they have a meditation/relaxation room, with a fountain, comfy chairs, headsets to listen to calming music, and it is FREE! you just have to make sure they don't have a class going on when you'd like to use the room. This place went beyond our expectations! We had a group of 15 girls for my sister in laws bachelorette party. They took us 5 at a time for a massage while the rest of the girls relaxed in their main room where they served us chocolate covered strawberries and provided champagne and glasses. They also decorated the room for us. We had such a great time. It was their first time catering to a big group and hoped to do more in the future. This review is based on the terrible experience my mother had over the phone. It is unfortunate that a business who claims to be "exactly what the name implies", would hire such rude, bad-mannered and vain employees. I will not write a review, border line novel, because I want to get to the point and 2 weeks later, I am still too angry. She said this person was very rude, didn't help her with what she needed, and made my mom feel like she should feel privileged to be calling a place such as this one. I read another bad review from a few months ago with the same problem. When will this business decide to make a change? Especially with a name like "Happy and Relaxed", it almost feels as though it's false adivertissement. My aunt called the day after my mom, and was greeted by an employee with a completely different demeanor by the name of Lilianna. She said the employee was helpful and unlike the other one, sounded happy and willing to help. I really love this place. It's a genuine place of peace. I always ask for Malena, the masseuse, and she's really good: strong when you want her to work out a knot; gentle if you have areas of tenderness. She pays attention to the body, and she's very, very good at what she does. I'm charmed, also, by the meditation room. The seven chairs are quite comfortable, and each has its own cd player/ipod/iPhone charger with headphones, as well as sheer curtains which may be pulled around your chair for greater privacy. The altar features multiple religious figures, including buddhas, angels. Whatever one's faith, it's a welcoming room to simply sit and be quiet. If you're looking for a super swanky spot, this isn't it. But for a clean, welcoming space that's nicely appointed, staffed by people who are friendly and knowledgable, in an environment that's peaceful, restful and healing, I can recommend no place in Los Angeles any better. read more

"Happy & Relaxed" is the most relaxing place that I have ever been too and also, I love the friendly environment. I come every two weeks for Jin Shin Jyustu sessions with Carmela. I have completed three sessions so far. I would like to establish my experience with every one that would like to be interested in joining this wonderful process of the ancient art of harmonizing the body. While in the first session, my experience was energy moving inside my entire body. The second session it was more powerful in terms of the energy movements inside my body. Carmela concluded the session with an "Extraction of Negativity". I felt as something was being dragged out of my body (there is no pain involved during session). On the third session, I experienced a stronger energy vibe in which my entire body became on a state of total relaxation. I was so pleasantly surprised to be put so at ease as soon as I walked in the front door. The ambience is very calming and the light music playing in the background made me feel like I had stepped out of the rat race outside, even if it was just for an hour and a half. The girl that greeted me in the front was very nice and pleasant I believe her name was Rebecca. The massage therapist who helped me out and was named Naomi was absolutely God sent .. I was looking for a day spa online and researched Happy & Relaxed. I was working a stressful job, needing rejuvenation and I got a good vibe from Malaea Jason's picture on the website. When I went to book, there was only 1 spot available and it was with Malaea--it looked like I was asking and the Universe was answering my prayers. There is plenty of parking in back under "La Farmacia Natural" (the other business they run is a natural pharmacy), I was late from traffic but reception did not rush me, rather just asked me to fill out a basic form and then Malaea brought me back. A few weeks prior I had gotten a massage from one of those "foot massage" places and never felt tended to. Instinctively I KNEW that I was going to receive a blessing and healing. There was a moment when Malaea massaged my scalp and the thought, "there IS a God" came to me. When she was done, she paused (I could tell she was in prayer, though I could not see her). What a generous spirit she is and a healer at heart. My body was honored and I received such rejuvenation, release, and healing. The massage (normally $60 but 10% off w/Yelp) was $54 and they still honored the full hour even though I was late. Rebecca at Reception was very kind and gave me a short tour even though they had already closed and I also met David, the Hypnotherapist. They were all very welcoming. They have a FREE meditation room open 10-6 during the week and sometimes it is used for classes on Saturdays (just call ahead)--what a nice benefit to the community. I will definitely return.
