    Lock on TV

This place hasn't changed much since we were last here. Casino still has a stale smoke smell. If anything, it was pretty busy. There were a few families and people who also brought dogs. It says it's a pet free place. Clearly, guests don't follow it. Check-in was seamless. People who work here are super nice and friendly. The rooms are dated and have some wear and tear but still decent. Towels were in need of changing. I was surprised to see they have a lock on the TV. Have people really tried to steal a TV? Makes me think how rough this area or desperate people are becoming.

First time in 20 years the buffet is gone and so are the customers. Lots of parking and lots of business around but it's turned into a locals casino. On the plus side it's clean and quiet and the slots might be looser

I stayed here recently and had an incident with one of the beds being infested with bed bugs. I filled out a report and no manager was onsite but I was promised a call back from the manager. It's been almost 2 weeks and I've heard nothing. When I call I'm either put on hold and never taken off or forwarded to the security hotline who isn't able to do anything. I've left several calls and messages to the manager who never returns them or picks up the phone. DO NOT STAY HERE

This is my first time at The Cannery. I was here to see The Whispers featuring Lenny Williams. This is music that I'd hear growing up from my parents to my grandparents. The show was great. I just wish I knew the show was outside. It was a very windy day in Vegas, so it got quite chilly at the show. Many people were underdressed for the chilly evening. The casino area smelled like stale smoke from a bar. I get that the casino wants people to be able to smoke, so that people will come to gamble. I wish there was some type of air purifier to remove the smoke smell. They do have a live singer in the bar on the casino floor. There's another bar that has karaoke. There's a monetary prize to be won for karaoke, first place $2000, second place $1000, and third place $500. The prize is in the form of a gift card according to what I read on the website. I'm not sure if it's a gift card to only be used at The Cannery or if it's a Visa or MasterCard gift card. There's also a movie theater attached to The Cannery, for the community as well as the casino/hotel guests. There's also a restaurant by the casino floor, but I'm unsure of what they serve because it appeared to be closed.

We decided to stay here for our first EDC. Chose this place because of its close proximity to the Las Vegas Motor Speedway and we don't regret it. About 12mins away and we didn't hit much traffic heading to and from the place. Cannery has lots of free parking and the check-in and out process was quick. We ended up staying on the first floor and it helped us with recovery. I had multiple reservations since we added more days to our trip and the staff handled it flawlessly. We were able to stay in the same room at no extra cost. Location was also perfect. Just a few minutes away from the strip, yet far enough to have some peace and quiet. We were also close to a lot of restaurants and stores. Our only complaint? The rooms are freezing and the small fridge was more of a freezer and made our sodas explode/food frozen. Otherwise, it's not a terrible place.

One of my favorite Boyd properties. Rooms are always cozy and everything worked without any issues. Refrigerator is small but who needs a big one when staying for just a couple days. I love that the parking lot is close to the rooms and you can enter and exit with your card without having to track through the casino. Pool and jacuzzi are nice and clean. I always look forward to visiting the Cannery in No Las Vegas!

This is a good local casino. They have a lot of games and one of the few casino's you can find a five dollar craps table in Las Vegas. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I would visit there again.

Bathroom sink won't drain immediately, takes 10mins to finally drain any running water

The stay overall was good, I've been here before but never stayed until this trip. It's a nice location with a lot of food options around which is good because there's ot much food options inside the casino/hotel. It is clean, rooms are nice and modern. However the reason why I gave it 3 stars and not 5 are 3 reasons: 1. Check in only had one receptionist and there was a line of 10 waiting to be checked in. Why only 1 person to check in at a hotel/casino!?! He was very nice though once we did get to him. 2. There was leftover food in the fridge makes me think how well was this room REALLY cleaned? 3. The bathroom sink won't drain Without these 3 issues this stay would of been a 5 out of 5 for sure.

    Ample outdoor and garage parking

This is a decent casino and a nice alternative to going on the strip. Nice machines and a good casino floor. Plenty of garage covered parking and many entrances.

Ok, Aliante is pretty close and convenient probably draws a lot from Sun City and a few of the smaller master planned communities within Aliante and nearby north las vegas. During the daytime hours it's pretty dead except on "free gift" day. The parking lot (again during the day) is pretty empty except right by the casino entrances. The garage is a ghost town but is a wise choice when the weather gets hot. Clean? Fairly smoke free? Yes. Decent amount and variety of machines? Yeah I guess so. Table games, not many operating during the day. Hi limit bar? Virtually deserted during the day . The bar itself used to have a good amount of patrons, but ever since the upped the machines to a dollar minimum from .25 for the standard poker there's always plenty of empty machines (maybe different at night or weekends). The sportsbook is under renovation I guess that's a good thing. The space where TGI Friday's was is still in the "coming soon" mode. IMHO, while the casino has pluses.... It seems to be way different than when I first went more than a few years ago. No weekend giveaways, nothing of note on senior Tuesdays unless you want a bingo discount. The buffet is long gone, and I think so are the crowds. We've all heard the term "food desert" I think a more apt term is Aliante, where restaurants go to die. I mean during the daytime until 4:00 PM, your dining choices are the farm and the 2-3 outlets open at the food court. I guess if you like Capriotti's, your in luck because that outlet seems to be the only one doing any business . (you can use a monthly food credit there ). But market and salted lime and Trattoria 57 aren't open till four and I think salted lime is the only one open every day. So in my opinion, what do you get at Aliante? A safe, clean hum drum local casino that is a decent place to play the slots.... But if you want excitement and good food, best go somewhere else. I think in this area , Santa Fe, is much more lively, better choices. If you want Pizzaz? Red Rock is not far away, nor is Rampart (the resort at Summerlin) and Suncoast... I wonder if all the residential construction on the 215 between Decatur and the 15 will force Boyd to beef up their game .

At the beginning of our stay, we felt supported during a very stressful and unexpected situation. While he was with the company, Dre, one of the managers, was extremely helpful and accommodating. He ensured our family's rooms stayed together and worked with us to reduce disruption. His professionalism and care made a significant difference, and his absence has been clearly felt since his departure. Since Dre left, our experience has become increasingly difficult. We have received little assistance in keeping our rooms together and have been required to move rooms multiple times, which has been disruptive for our family during a long-term stay. There have also been serious housekeeping concerns. Housekeeping entered our rooms on days when cleaning was not scheduled, medication and a handicap placard went missing from our room. This raised major concerns regarding privacy, trust, and safety. Additionally, our interactions with a front desk staff member, Tandace, have been deeply troubling. She frequently left the front desk unattended, used profanity, and openly gossiped about why the previous manager was fired, which is highly unprofessional and inappropriate for a guest-facing role. When minor jokes were made regarding her work performance, instead of addressing the matter professionally, false claims were made portraying herself as a victim, despite the fact that my mother--who is nearly 60 years old, disabled, and relies on a scooter and motorized wheelchair--was simply advocating for respectful communication. The situation escalated further when a personal acquaintance of hers contacted my spouse, alleging intimidation. This contact was inappropriate, unprofessional, and completely unrelated to any hotel business matter. That said, there are still staff members who consistently show kindness and warmth. Rosa and Jose always provide a welcoming presence, and Patrick and Everett have been wonderful with our children, offering moments of comfort during a difficult time. Unfortunately, due to the lack of consistent management support, serious housekeeping concerns, unprofessional front desk behavior, and inappropriate boundary violations, this experience has been far more stressful than it should have been during an already difficult time. Because of this experience, I will never stay at Homewood Suites again.

I booked this stay on points and I was initially drawn to it because of the amenities they had in the unit in comparison to the Hampton Inn just down the street. For a standard room, you'll get a king size bed with a queen sofa sleeper, a kitchen featuring a full size fridge and freezer (no water filter, but they have it outside the gym!), microwave, and utensils. If you stay at Home2 suites then you'll know to expect this in your room. Like most hotels, they just have the walk in shower with affixed bath amenities to the wall. I felt that the overall cleanliness and modernness of this hotel was a 5/5. I like that the parking is free albeit ground level with no shaded parking and I also like the additional security measure they have in the evenings where only guests with key cards could enter the building. I also appreciated the coffee and tea bar at the front desk as well as their selection of goodies you can purchase to enjoy in your room. Some of these items include Mac and cheese, ice cream, etc. all of which were fairly reasonably priced. I had an incident occur during my stay but Charlene, the manager, resolved it which is why I'm taking the time to shout her out. I believe the other gentleman I spoke with was Nathan? He was really lovely and I enjoyed their customer service. I rarely find myself staying in Home2 suites and equivalent hotels, but I would recommend this hotel for those that are looking for a very solid deal without compromising safety, cleanliness, and overall comfort.
