Going out to eat Dinner tonight at Red Rock with our friends but prior to that my husband and I wanted to Sit at the sport book and Gamble a bit as well. Red Rock Casino is a beautiful Casino that Locals Love. It has that sophisticated charm about it but it also has that Family feel as well. This is one of the Local Casino's that has Kid's Quest, as well as an amazing Movie theater for the kids to enjoy! And the adults has the Gambling aspect, the Sports book, Bingo, Keno, the amazing high end restaurants and great shows. There is something for everyone here and we love the Free Parking !!!

Bonus in progress. 3 small ones so far

A beautiful casino that used to be the flagship of the Station Casino chain. I believe the Durango has taken its place as the key casino. It's still nice to visit, although I haven't been back in quite a while. The casino is huge and packed with a wide variety of slot machines. The sportsbook is fairly large but it is showing its age. It has served as the model for the new sportsbook at the Sunset Casino with an almost identical layout. What's great about placing a bet at a Station Casino is that you can cash your ticket at any of their locations. Boyd Casinos forces you to cash in tickets at the location where the bet was placed or mail in your ticket via registered mail. William Hill also allows you to cash in at any casino who is part of their group. My favorite slot machine at the Stations continues to at least let me play for an extended length of time so I can pad my comp points even if I don't make a profit. Many of the older restaurants have been replaced so if you had an old favorite, you'd better check to see if it still exists. The buffet that was once a huge draw has been taken out I'm not sure that was a wise move. Many patrons now go to other casinos and don't spend their gambling money there anymore. I was only able to spend a few hours there since we were dropping off some people and getting them checked in. I'm impressed that he's acquired VIP status with Station Casinos and receives prior entry to restaurants and hotel check in as well as VIP access to a reserved section of the parking lot. It's still worth driving out to Summerlin to eat, play, or stay at Red Rock. Much less of a hassle than dealing with casinos on the Strip. Check it out if you've never been

Family road trip to Vegas! The Red Rock Casino Resort & Spa is honestly a nice hotel. My cousins held their wedding here. My family and I checked in here mainly because we were given a group discount for my cousin's wedding. We booked 3 rooms and requested for 2 of them to be connected and the other room to be located next door. Check-in is at 15:00, and check out is at 11:00. We arrived a little before 15:00. We were thankful that our rooms were ready a bit early. They were able to accommodate connecting rooms, but one room was a door away. The rooms were spacious and clean with basic amenities such as shampoo, conditioner, lotion, tissues, vanity kits, and towels. We were given fresh towels on our second day. The housekeepers were quick and efficient. We asked for a few more bath robes because there were only two robes provided in each room. The front desk agent over the phone was hesitant to provide us more bath robes for whatever reason and stated she'll have to speak to her Housekeeping Manager first .. over bath robes?? I thought it was odd that she made a big deal because the robes were considered a free amenity. The alcohol and snack bar were not complimentary of course. The note clearly states that if an item was removed for more than 15 seconds, then it will be charged to the room. I did not like that the mini fridge was stocked with overpriced alcohol and drinks. There was no other fridge provided in the room, so we couldn't store any leftover food or drinks we had. Other than the hotel rooms, the resort had many dining options like Starbucks for your quick coffee fix, fast food for late night bites, desserts to satisfy your sweet tooth, fine dining for date nights, and bars to grab a cocktail. There was live entertainment at the bar as well. There's also more dining options and shopping at the plaza located across the resort. The casino is huge with tables and slot machines everywhere. I appreciated the signage and arrows because we often got lost. For family friendly activities, they have a bowling alley and a movie theater. Service was quick & efficient. Majority of everyone we encountered was courteous. Check out was easy. My biggest advice is to take videos and photos of the snack and alcohol bar to have proof nothing was used or taken. We were emailed our billing on the day of departure. A day after checking the billing, we noticed we were charged $15 for an amenity from the snack bar we did not take. My aunt called the hotel to dispute the charges. Overall, we enjoyed our stay. There's many entertainment, so we never got bored. There's endless dining options, so we were never hungry. Although our specific room location requests were not accommodated, the rooms itself were decent.

We just stayed at Red Rock Casino Resort and Spa for a Friday-Saturday-Sunday getaway and it was absolutely amazing! We splurged on the Signature Suite with the king signature bed -- which typically starts around $499-$509 per night for that suite style (so three nights was a lovely weekend treat!) -- and every dollar felt worth it. From the moment we walked in, we were blown away by the atmosphere and vibe -- sophisticated but warm, stylish without feeling stuffy. The customer service was seriously top‑tier -- everyone we encountered was friendly, attentive, and genuine. We especially loved how clean everything was -- our suite sparkled, and the housekeeping team made sure it stayed that way every time they cleaned. And talk about service speed: those bellmen were lightning fast with our luggage, and any time we asked for extra pillows or blankets, they arrived in record time with big smiles. The room itself -- with that cozy king bed and plenty of space -- was the perfect retreat after busy days exploring. And little touches like fast check‑in, thoughtful amenities, and spotless spaces made us feel genuinely pampered. If you're looking for a wonderful Las Vegas off‑Strip experience with beautiful rooms, stellar service, and a truly awesome atmosphere, this place is a winner. We already can't wait to go back!

I love the scent that you smell when you first step into the Red Rock Casino Resort and Spa, especially near the registration desk. IIRC Green Valley Resort has a similar scent. Great job to whoever from Station Casinos picked that scent. The rooms are modern and comfortable for working or relaxing. The bed is soft/firm, and super comfortable. The room has plenty of outlets for charging phones and computers and cameras etc. The room service options are amazing - I was honestly impressed with the New York Strip steak (dinner portion) I ordered. The shrimp cocktail had an amazing presentation, and they used huge shrimp... the cocktail sauce and horseradish both had a great flavor. The horseradish was creamy and not too strong... BUT! This dish was $18 so I expected more than 4 pieces of shrimp, even if they were huge shrimp, and photogenic. Cmon man. 18 dollars for that! There are several good food options inside RedRock Casino. I was there for a "work trip staycation" because I got booked to shoot a PR campaign nearby in the Red Rock Canyon area. We booked several rooms and ate at Red Rock Casino every day/night. Lucilles BBQ is a good option for those looking for something hearty but casual. Order the beef ribs. Hearthstone has a more upscale feel, with beautiful atmosphere (the ambiance and the hostesses were both fire), especially around dinnertime/sunset. They had really good appetizers, but the standout here is the Prime Rib. Order that! Yard House is good too, for a casual meal... esp for those who drink beer. I don't. Anyway, there are lots of things to do at Red Rock Casino. Great place to go for a work trip or staycation!

The Bad - they just replaced the pizza place. The pizza was amazing and the best pizza around !!! Now the new good pies pizza SUCKS !!! I mean it. I prefer to praise and not complain, but this pizza absolutely SUCKS ! Red Rock casino is Still my favorite local hangout. I'm here 3-5 days a week. My wife plays the slots and I watch and gamble on sports. The yard house, Oyster bar and rouge room are excellent!!! The people are great that work here !!! But again - note to the owners - YOU SCREWED UP on the pizza change !!! Get the side piece pizza back and pay them more !!! - best pizza in town you threw away !!! Good pies - TERRIBLE pizza.

The Cheese Shop of Beverly Hills POP UP at Red Rock
    Laura A.

The most exciting thing to do yesterday was to go to Red Rock Casino and try The Cheese Store Of Beverly Hills Pop Up. WOW! I am so lucky that I went extra early. Our local newspaper (The Las Vegas Review Journal) posted the WRONG HOURS (12-5) for this event that took place 11-4. I got there about 10:30 and I still had to wait about an hour to get in and order. Once inside at the time I went there was plenty of cheeses to try. They also served fancy crackers and some lunch meats. After about an hour we finally got to order. My husband was going to order extra food for another time but everything was pre-made and nothing could be special ordered. I was surprised that they weren't selling cheeses. Anyways we tried a sandwich and a Jidori Chicken Caesar salad. They didn't have any seating so we strolled to the food court to find a table. When I opened ur to go I noticed that they DIDN"T give us any napkins and they didn't GIVE A FORK to give me a fork for my salad. The food was ok but could have been better. The sandwich bread was good but the sandwich seemed like it might have been made yesterday? The filling was squashed hard together and didn't have that fresh sandwich texture to it. My husband thought that the provolone cheese seemed like not the best. So the sandwich was ok. I had the Jidori Chicken Caesar Salad. It was OK. It was well sized but seemed like an average chicken Caesar salad. I saw our local Food Critic's pictures from this same event. Latter in the event many more goodies were brought out for sampling. My husband got mad when he saw the pictures because we went treated the same. I noticed only an hour latter there must have been well over a thousand people in line waiting to get in and the line went well around and a long way down the casino.

    Stadium craps betting.

Is it fair to give this place a 1 star because they took a lot of my money that day? Probably not a fair review. This on the west side of vegas near Summerlin. I'm a craps player and this is still afforable even though $15-$25 dollar tables does not fit my budget. They do have stadium craps which is like virtual better with live dice that can be rolled. The only thing you have to deal with is they move fast and rolling the dice with lots of bumps when you roll them. You can't roll them across or else dealer will warn you to hit the wall over and over again. Lucky Penny is there 24/7 diner that you can eat from and at 12 they have their version of steak and eggs special. Special note** You must have a players card in order to have their special which you can get at the cashier cage.

    Bingo room at Red Rock
    Shannon M.

My husband and I love staying at Red Rock Casino and Resort whenever we are in Las Vegas. It has become one of our go to hotels, and one of our favorite activities here is playing bingo together. Huge shout out to Michelle and Eron for being such amazing bingo hosts. They are always friendly, welcoming, and consistently provide top notch customer service. They make every session fun. The resort itself is beautiful and a nice escape from the busier parts of the Strip. We always enjoy our stays here and cannot wait to come back.

One of the best hotels off the strip nice clean rooms and affordable drinks and a very nice pool area this place is well worth the drive...

Woke up to a beautiful view of the pool and mountains

My family and I stayed here for the first time last week. I really like how they have activities you can do with the kids during the day such as bowling , movies , arcade, pool, walking distance shopping center and kid friendly foods in the food court such as Panda Express and wing stop! My kids like the food options and the sweet treats. I got excited when I seen a with love always is coming soon! We tried with love always on our trip and it was amazing as well. Can't wait to go back :)

I did not stay in any of the rooms this review is based on the casino and the amenities within the property. Beautiful hotel with many activities and many types of restaurants to eat at for a quick bite or for a full dining experience. Beautiful property located in Summerlin with plenty of FREE parking.

Can the "Pacific Breeze" Red Rock Casino air scent be found at their Gift Shop?

    What time is check in?

    3 PM

Do they have mobile check-in & digital key?

As of August 2023, they don't have a digital key system. I checked in with a real person at a real desk, and was given 2 plastic keys. I hope this helps!

What is the incredible scent that hits you as soon you enter the first set of double glass doors on the North side of the Casino? My father continues inside, while I stand…

    It's called Pacific Breeze, apparently.

Do you get free drinks while playing?

Yes !! Just be aware that it takes time for the server to come back and by then you could've lost some money or won.... there are also a lot less servers than there used to be pre-pandemic. Also stay in the same vicinity because they don't come…

How come you have such tight slot machines?

Great question! They’ve officially chased me off w their bs low % machines. Pure greed by the Fertitta’s.

Which restaurants inside of the resort have kids' menus?

    Nearly all.

Is overnight parking free for hotel guests?

no fees for parking. Also offer Valet parking (only cost is a tip)

Is the cost for the pool for registered guests or only outside visitors?

    Only outside visitors.

Is Bingo happening currently? Also, is the bowling alley open? Is there social distancing protocol for these activities?

They're playing bingo and the bowling alley is open.

As of now is the pool open/is it only for guests or for locals?

Is there any truth to the rumor that the room showers have very low water pressure?

I didn't think so but i also used the huge tub more often. I have thick hair & no issues washing out the shampoo

Can the lounges at the pool be use upon first come first serve? Do you have to pay to use them like this?

With the exception of lounge chairs assigned to cabanas (those chairs have different color cushions to set them apart), the lounge chairs by the pool are first come, first serve and there's no charge.

    Is their pool heated?

    The main pool is heated.

Is there free shuttle service to the trip? If so from what times do they operate?

Yes! There's a schedule on their website I think

Is this hotel for families or a weekend with a special someone?

    I would say for families

Does the sports book still have beer and food specials during college and NFL football games?

    just outside the book

    Is there overnight RV parking?

Can't say that I've ever seen RV's there. I'd call the hotel directly and ask for the concierge. They could give you a straight answer. 702-797-7777 There is an alternative…

    Is Red Rock pet friendly?

Not that I am aware- I never saw pet areas or people walking with pets. To be safe, rules change all the time, especially in summer, call Red Rock to get pet updates.

Is there live music on Saturday's? And if so what kind of music and how is the crowd?

There is most always live music, or a concert or event at the Rocks Lounge on Friday or Saturday. The ONYX Bar usually has a singer / musician on Friday and Saturday nights.…

Yes, its further down from the chaotic center, but is that a bad thing? For this traveler thats sick of crowds, its a blessing. You can literally walk to Bagelmania, and that famous Mex al pastor taco place, Fountainebleu is right across, wonderful walking areas with an attached mall (ok the stores are whack as fuck but hopefully will be better), their street food court is so innovative and cool, always find some good things to eat here (the fried chicken was my fave, and somewhere had this hong-kong stlye pan wok'd noodles it was very good too.) Never crowded. Great colors and casino layout. The pool is very nice and easily in my top 5 in Las Vegas. The rooms are very modern and clean. Great bar called the Gatsby. Nice Mex Restaurant right when mall area starts near the back of the casino past the Gatsby bar, and a by-the-slice pizza place thats also very good. Wally's restaurant is somewhere I hope to try one day. LOTS of food options, even a buffet type, and an Eggslut-typa breakfast place, forgot the name. Great looking sportsbook and the western-like sportsbar next to it upon entrance both on the left. Theres also a steakhouse in a very bizarre location upper level and waaay to the left, isolated. Lots of places want to try in the future. If anything, it is a massive place when you venture out into the mall part (the convention and private event areas walk and walk and walk, too much empty room here, thats really the only flaw.) I have my top 5 places to stay in Las Vegas: 1) Durango, (this will never change) 2) Fountainebleu 3) Resorts World (a very close 3rd to FB) 4)Wynn (if you can afford without cramming 8 people in one room) 5) Aria If you want a shit show, stay at MGM, Bellagio, Caesars Paris, Flamingo, Planet Hollywood etc.) If you want simplicity and luxury feel without the massive crowds, come here. Cleaning lady was rude too we explained to her how we have an extra night and she goes YOU DID??? Like please go speak with other staff before acting like that. To top off this horrible 1 star place we went downstairs to grab dinner at Juniors as it was really packed and looked like good food. Well, we went to the host stand and checked in for the wait. The host Liz told us 5-10 mins and we went off the side to wait. While waiting my friend wanted to go to the casino to play a hand of blackjack. During this time my ID was upstairs in the hotel since I only planned on eating. I stood by the table waiting for my friend to finish. Dealer was super rude and unprofessional rudely asked ID and I told him I'm not playing I'll go back to the side of Juniors waiting for the food table. Anyhow, the dealer had to say "YOU CAN GO PLAY SLOTS BUT THEY WONT PAY YOU IF YOU DONT HAVE YOUR ID" Okay, we get it big guy, I told you IM NOT PLAYING, can we chill I'm literally just trying to enjoy my meal. Then literally that was 5 seconds we return to Juniors and some reason they switched hosts but we were just standing there waiting. No waitlist no number no names. So how do we even know when our table is ready? Liz was extremely rude to us told us you guys left so you have to wait another HOUR after 5 big groups. Horrible experience. She yelled at us with a rude attitude and face. I told her we literally went away for 5 seconds and was waiting for 30+ mins by the side. LIZ then goes I DIDNT SEE YOU!!!! screaming out a bitch face and wanted to fight us. LIZ said that she was told yea we have to serve people in order of the line so whoever is here in front of the stand will get to go in first. Well look she saw our backs turn and left to the side for less than 5 seconds but she never even bothered to let us know we have to wait in front of her face where she can see us to get seated. Well luckily our server Alberto was the best and amazing. He treated us 5/5 perfect props to him. Please give Alberto a raise he was doing his best while it was understaffed with literally just himself, he was literally running from kitchen to tables and cashier to make sure everyone's night was good. I really appreciate Alberto, resorts world please take care of him. Well after our food and some casino plays, my friend and I were trying to get back up to our hotel room but for some reason our card doesn't work for even the elevator. So we had to go to the front desk again to get that fixed. There was a huge line again for check-ins for some reason and it wasn't moving. So we went to the side and told one of the staff members to please update our card since we have a room and the key isn't leading us back up. Again staff was horrible with an attitude, she said yes go wait in that check in line. I don't know how does resorts world even operate. I have a room and already checked in but my room key for some reason doesn't work, why will I stand in line and waste 2 hours of my time just to update the key that was the hotel's error. Well, horrible place I wouldn't be surprised if this hotel/casino does close down. I hope they either train their staff with some manners or hire some new people that don't have the worst attitudes. Therefore, I will not be staying at resorts world ever again, I hope everyone else does not either.

Construction began in 2007, but faced setbacks including the Great Recession and later the COVID-19 pandemic. Knowing its history, I was eager to experience a guest stay. Booking & Check-in:: I booked my room through a travel aggregation website. Upon arrival, the front desk quickly found my reservation. The check-in process was smooth and hassle-free. The clerk was both friendly and helpful. The main lobby is cavernous, with decor that's simple yet elegant. It creates an impression. Room Quality:: The Fontainebleau Las Vegas opened in 2023; but the room's furniture was well-kept, and free from excessive wear that might hint at heavy use. The carpet looked fresh, with no stains or tears in sight. Regarding the bed, the sheets were crisp and bright white. The mattress, pillows and duvet were comfortable. Bathrooms often show the most wear and tear, but this one was pristine. It was spacious. The layout was well-arranged. The towels looked like new, with a heavy pile and a crisp, bright white color. Sometimes when I travel, I like a room that's comfortable, but not so luxurious it makes me want to stay in all day. Other times, I want a inviting space to relax in, and the rooms here fit that bill perfectly. I found the décor, color palette, and furnishings appealing. I also think many hotel rooms lack sufficient lighting, but here there's plenty of it, along with the option to adjust it to your liking. Common Space:: Although I didn't use them myself, I was surprised to learn while walking the grounds that there are seven swimming pools on the premises. I did, however, enjoy some of the gaming options on site, as well as several of the restaurants.

We have stayed here three times already the first two times we paid for the day and this time we were comped. As we received comped rooms, we were able to check in at the invite guest counter, which was a minute wait versus the regular check-in line. That felt so great as the regular line was wrapped like we were waiting for a ride at Disneyland. Our room was on the 59th floor, room 5927. It was a nice size room, super clean and amazing view of the strip, the sphere and other resorts on the strip. The room was very comfortable with enough amenities that we required for the stay. We self parked and as locals, we received free parking. There were plenty of parking on the second and third floor somewhat close to the entrance to the hotel. We visited the pool with about one hour left, and it was perfect. There was plenty of seats available and we did not have a problem, getting two chairs and plenty of towels that you can grab. The pool was clean we saw multiple lifeguards and a lot of wage assist to help if you want to order anything. On top of an amazing day, I played the slots and one a few hundreds, which was a topper. Another amazing day, will be back.

This is the first time staying here and I am really pleased!…read more The staff at check in and valet are super friendly! The lobby is gorgeous. Lots of Raiders memorabilia. ( I'm a fan....so ) but wait!... the scent as you walk in, very slightly there, and I can't even name it, but it's PERFECT. We got a room facing the strip for the night lights, however the sunrise was the real show stopper. There are some really comfy chairs to sit right at the floor to ceiling window to take it all in ... or you can see it from the comfort of your bed. What was missing was a coffee maker and robes in the room. I like to have a cup when I wake up. We are not big gamblers, more people watchers, so we walked through the casino. I did not notice one cocktail waitress on the floor. Is this a new thing? A few ( and only a few) people had drinks. The bathroom is spacious and has all the things!!! I love a tub in a hotel and this tub is the perfect size and angle to lay your head back for the ultimate soak. There is a tv screen in the mirror for your morning news or music videos.... Or a window shade that can go up or down for privacy or to look directly through the room out to that view I mentioned. Ahhh. If you come, be sure to visit baby cakes ( they're in house sweets shop- conveniently located on your way to the elevators ) for gelato or ultimate baked deliciousness or coffee drinks omg it's dangerous.... Overall, a lovely hotel off the strip ( but close enough) at a great price. We will return!

I went to M for a concert and was greatly disappointed in the whole experience…read more I understand that M is not entirely responsible for every aspect of the concert experience but there are a few things worth mentioning. I'll start with the parking and the way traffic was directed. For this specific concert it was very confusing, and the lack of signage did not help. Getting out of the parking garage was the most difficult and it took about 30 minutes. Also, when the concert was announced online, there was no mention that it would be held at the pool. So this concert was held by the pool in 107° weather and it was not fun at all. I could be wrong about this, but the band only played 1 hour 20 minutes and I think it's because it was so darn hot. And I was not happy about this at all. If I was overheating being in the audience, I can't even imagine how much hotter it was up on stage with the lights, smoke, leather pants... lol. So in the future, if there is a concert held at the M I would make sure to research and make sure that it's not at the pool in summer. So basically, I paid $175 per ticket to go see a band at the pool totally not worth it especially since they only played less than two hours. For those who wanna know I saw Stone Temple Pilots and unfortunately it was not worth my time or money. After this experience, not only will I probably never go to the M resort to see a concert, but I also will never again go and see Stone Temple Pilots. If you're gonna pay almost $200 per ticket and spend three hours of your time preparing and driving there you gotta at least give me two hours of your time for it to be worth what you're charging. The other thing I want to mention is the security guards and customer service staff weren't very efficient in crowd control. People were just gathering right in front of us who paid $175 for their tickets and it took about 30 minutes to get all these clowns out of the way so the rest of us could enjoy the concert. In my personal opinion this might've been one of the worst concerts I've ever been to and it really left a bad taste in my mouth concerning STP. Sadly I believe STP died the day the original front man died. RIP Scott Weiland. You are greatly missed.

It seems as though their renovations have been completed. If you stayed here when it was the Mandarin Oriental, you will remember you had to go to the 3rd floor to check-in. WA kept that process until the most recent reno. You now checkin upon entry, like most places, however, you still go to the 3rd floor to access the guest room elevators and restaurant. I really love all the new touches and also enjoy the touches they kept from the previous franchise. The check-in staff was above and beyond friendly and looked for ways to make sure you would best enjoy your stay. After a long drive and plane ride, it's nice to chat with people who are genuinely engaged in getting to know about your stay. We had made reservations for spa treatments for after we are arrived and we thoroughly enjoyed that time. I would go as far as to say the WA spa is one of the best spas on the strip. Fabulous. First stay at The Venetian -- and definitely not our last…read more This was our first time staying at The Venetian, and overall, we had a really great experience. We were in Las Vegas for a concert at the Sphere, and one of the main reasons we chose to stay here was the convenience. Being able to walk through the resort and get around without relying on Ubers was a huge plus, especially on a busy concert night. Check-in was smooth, the staff we encountered were friendly and welcoming, and our room was clean, comfortable, and spacious. We were also upgraded, which was a very nice surprise. The highlight had to be the view of the Sphere from our room -- absolutely perfect for the concert we were attending. The Venetian is an experience in itself. The resort is massive, beautifully designed, and there's plenty to explore without even having to leave the property. For us, the ability to walk around, grab something to eat or drink, explore the resort, and head to the Sphere without worrying about transportation made the stay that much more enjoyable. We typically stay at MGM properties when we're in Vegas, so trying The Venetian was a change of pace for us. Based on this first experience, I'm glad we gave it a shot. Friendly staff, clean rooms, unexpected upgrade, an incredible Sphere view, and an extremely convenient location for a concert. We'll definitely be back. The Venetian has officially earned another Vegas stay from us.

The best part is it is walking distance to the Sphere, so if you're going to a show at the Sphere, staying here is ideal as it's conveniently located to it. Only con was the price of the parking during your stay.

The pillows are soft, the mattress feels like a cloud and the products are really nice and plush. It's no wonder so many people want to stay here. Service overall was good. Our front desk agent Gerard was a highlight. Really friendly and helpful in understanding our benefits we got with our room. Also gave us some recommendations for place to go and try as well. However, we had issues in service among other places in the property, notably the bell desk. We did have about a 2 hour delay before our room was ready so we dropped our stuff with the bell desk. The setup is weird, there is an inside person and people outside. It seems like everything goes through the outside people, we could only drop our stuff with them and pick our stuff up at checkout, we have no idea what the inside guy did except to direct us outside. Also, by the time our room was ready, we couldn't even pick up the stuff at the bell desk, only delivered to the room. It said it would take 15 minutes but we had to call and because it was "so busy" we had to wait almost an hour for it. The massive sprawling casino has a lot of games to play and a lot of different venues for everyone. Minimums are high for table games (as expected) but there is still something for everyone to play. Cocktail service was slow at times, but Sandra was friendly and quick as well as made some delicious cocktails. Overall, it really is a nice property with some great stuff. But it does feel like it doesn't know how to properly control crowds and leaving you like you were truly at a 5 star resort.

Unsafe balconies beware…read more Per security direct quote: "this happens at least once every three months". My experience at this hotel was extremely concerning because of a serious safety issue with the balcony door. I stepped onto the balcony, and when the door closed behind me, it locked, leaving me trapped outside. It was approximately 110°F. Fortunately, I had my phone with me and was able to call for help. Had I not had my phone, this could have become a dangerous situation very quickly. When I reported the issue to the manager, rather than showing concern, she was condescending and made me feel as though I had somehow caused the problem. I specifically told her that I did not believe another guest should be placed in that room until the balcony door was repaired because it was unsafe. I had paid extra for a room with a balcony, yet I could not safely use it for the remainder of my stay. Because I was traveling for work and had a very demanding schedule, changing rooms at the last minute was also extremely difficult. I just chose not to use the balcony anymorez What bothered me even more was being told that if I filed a formal safety report, they would not be able to refund the additional amount I had paid for the balcony. That placed me in an unacceptable ethical position: either report a legitimate safety hazard so another guest would not be placed at risk, or remain silent in order to receive a refund. Of course, I chose to report the safety issue. After considerable discussion, I was eventually refunded approximately $130 related to the balcony charge. However, the way the situation was handled--particularly the manager's dismissive and condescending attitude--was unacceptable. I would not stay at this hotel again. Even if my work required travel to the same area, I would choose another property.

I had free slot play all month but every time I came in, it wasn't there and I didn't have time to hang out and wait for the slot club to open so I left, today I came in the afternoon-no slot play on card. I approach the older dark haired slot host w/glasses.... I said I don't have free slot play and she runs the card, she says the pin was locked again (This is the 5th time in as many months) and I need to reset it. I said OK--done--please reset it again, that pin doesn't work--so I reset it again--OK done--Please reset it again, that pin doesn't work but I had a bad headache and I had already put my players club back in my wallet and really didn't hear her, she looked at me like, excuse me, I need your card... ok, fine, I was losing my patience but said OK--now what? Oh its reset, your free play will be on the card. I wait a bit and go try--NOTHING. So, I called the slot host--Now his name was something like Miladin (I really don't remember exactly how he spelled it) He spent 20 mins on the phone with IT to find out what is going on and he was very nice....He even said he put $30 dining credit on the card, I asked if I needed a Voucher to use it and he said, no, Just go to the restaurant and eat and hand them the card but I would have to go back to the slot lady to reset the pin one more time and get my free play so I did... She was not happy to see me again but is this my fault???? she acted like it was, her attitude was my issue but that wasn't even my breaking point, I told her what happened and she said I need you to reset your Pin, I handed her my Card but remember, I have a splitting headache and the room is kind of spinning--Migraines and she said something to me but I was like, huh? I NEED YOUR ID. OK OK....I said ok sorry, I have a bad headache, slow down--she rolled her eyes....wow, what the actual hell?? I am a good player, I am in there all of the time, what the hell?? why does my card have to be reset anyways? I have been playing at Palace Station my whole life in Vegas--Over 20 years and never ever did I need to go through this but fine, here is my ID She says, what restaurant do you want the $30 for? I was confused because the other guy said it would just be on there and she is asking me this and I said, I thought it was on there, she gets huffy and says, NO, WHY WOULD IT ALREADY BE THERE???? WELL EXCUSE ME FOR BREATHING. i AM SORRY I AM ALIVE, I AM SORRY I AM HAVING ISSUES AND YOU HAVE TO DO YOUR DAMNED JOB. OOPS MY BAD. SO I HANDED HER MY ID AND CARD--SHE DOES HER THING SUPPOSEDLY AND ADDS THE $30 TO THE CARD FOR LUCKY PENNY. I ASKED ABOUT MY FREE PLAY, OH THAT IS TAKEN CARE OF, GO TO THE MACHINE, ITS NOT THERE, NOTHING IS THERE, NOTHING IS THERE, IS THE $30 FOR LUCKY PENNY??? WE WILL SEE... I WALKED OFF AND LEFT MY ID THERE, MY BROTHER WHO WAS WITH ME WAS MAD, HE WAS TALKING TO HER WHILE I WAS OFF CALMING DOWN--THAT MY PIN SHOULD NOT HAVE TO BE RESENT 200 TIMES. I COME BACK AND SAID I WANT MY ID. I TOOK MY ID. HE ASKED IF THE $30 WAS ON THERE, SHE SAYS, I CAN'T CHECK THAT WITHOUT YOUR ID LIKE I AM DUMB OR SOMETHING--I SAID LADY, YOU ARE VERY RUDE, YOU NEED TO LEARN CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS, I AM TELLING YOU I SAID THIS, I AM NOT GOING TO LET ANYONE TALK DOWN TO ME ESPECIALLY WHEN I AM IN THE CASINO 2-3 TIMES A WEEK EATING, DRINKING (Though not today, I have a headache) AND PLAYING, I LITERALLY LOSE $2000 A MONTH IN THERE--SOMETIMES MORE, SOMETIMES I WIN WHICH IS GREAT BUT NOW I DON'T EVEN KNOW MY PIN, SHE RESET IT 4 TIMES.... I am never going to go back to slot club again. ever. She never apologized, she could see i was angry, she was told that I had a headache, she knew I was upset about the free play which by the way she was unable to give back to me and never fixed and she just stood there looking all bothered. I will be back to eat--see if the $30 made the card, I am coming to Borracha's this weekend to eat, I love the food, I love the machines but If I have to go back to reset my pin or talk to her or see her ever again, I will throw my card in the trash, she is so ruuuuuude!!!!!
