Came here to the Oyster Bar on a Friday around 1pm and there was no wait, which I loved. Once we ordered, the food did take about 30-40 minutes, but you can tell it's cooked fresh, so I didn't mind too much. My meal was really good overall. I ordered the gumbo with shrimp and crab, the flavor was definitely there and the texture was good. They also allow you to pick the spice level you want. I chose 4 and it was just enough spice for me. Only thing is, I honestly couldn't see or find any crab in it, which was a little disappointing. I do wish the waitress would have asked if I wanted okra because I actually hate okra and had to pick it all out. Not a deal breaker, but something that would have made the experience better. Overall, I enjoyed my food and I would order the gumbo again but next time I'll ask for no okra and clarify the crab situation. read more

Chrome room tables are a ripoff! You pay $150 to reserve the table. When you get there, they tell you they need your card again, even though the original card was charged. Even though I asked for the waitress to let me know when we were getting close to our drink limit, she did not let me know until we were at almost $300. The band was great, but we won't be coming back. They have one waitress to work the entire room, which is ridiculous. I also don't think 6 of us drank $300 in 2 hours! EDIT: took off stars for the lip service of "we'll do absolutely nothing" response to my review. If they don't already know it's an issue, they are terrible at management. I come here (Santa Fe Bowling Lanes) every week to cheer on my husband who is in the bowling league. Sometimes when he's bowling, I will walk around the casino to get my steps in. While walking around, I notice that for an older casino, this place has been kept up quite well, and is very clean. I have not seen the rooms, but I assume by the appearance of the casino, that the rooms are probably kept up too. It is a quiet casino compared to the ones on the strip. Again I'm assuming that's because a lot of locals gamble here. The sign outside says the rooms start at $44.99. That's a real good nightly price for a room in this area. The casino offers a movie theatre, game room for the kids, and a very nice food court with several fast food restaurants, a Starbucks, and an ice cream shop. DO NOT STAY AT THE SANTE FE unless you want to get WRONGLY ACCUSED OF SMOKING IN THE ROOM! Their "fresh air sensor" in the room alerted them that we were supposedly smoking in the room - we DEFINITLEY WERE NOT! We are not smokers. They charged us $250 for this and the only recourse is to ask for a "review" by the company that makes and monitors the sensors for them. No phone number so you can actually talk to someone. The manager was no help either. Refused to even come up to our room to investigate for himself. There was a smoke smell in the hallway leading to our room as well as a large gap at the bottom of the door, a dingy smell from the vent above the entry to the room and the ac vent blows right next to these sensors. DON'T STAY HERE AND BE THEIR NEXT VICTIM! The rooms are OLD, the beds are HORRIBLE and the management team doesn't care about guests. They are LIARS and THIEVES! read more

We stayed at this hotel 3 times in the last year since it's close to our son's home. Our last visit was the worst. Since my husband is 6' 4" we reserved a room with a king bed. While we were traveling I received an email to check in. Since we were not going to arrive after the regular check in time I didn't opt to pay extra for early arrival. I click check in. When we arrived to check in, I was not told the description of the room, receive our room keys and went to our room. When we got to our room we found we had 2 queen beds. I immediately contacted the front desk and was told that since I checked in on line and opted for what ever room was available that's what we got. I argued I reserved a king room but was told too bad that is what I opted for when I checked in on line. I was also told there were no king rooms left and they could not accommodate us. When we checked out 2 days later, after a most uncomfortable stay for my husband, I told the front desk we would not be back. When asked why I explained what happened, she looked surprised. I told her I was sure that the hotel was not at 100% full judging but the vehicles in the parking lot. She asked me who told me that and I described who I spoke to and she said he is the front desk supervisor. Clearly this supervisor does not want to accommodate your guests. We will not stay at this hotel again and differently will not recommend. I will say the other staff members we interacted with on the property we kind and helpful. read more

We come here once a year for competitions. Rooms are basic, no microwave, no coffee pot There is a mini fridge and small toiletries in the bathroom. The staff is friendly and welcoming but the casino itself isn't my favorite. Filled with stinky cigarette smoke our hair and clothing are so smelly just from walking through. The marketing is kinda sketchy, I received a promo flyer in the mail for free play if we stayed on certain dates. We stayed on the dates but did not get the credits and I spoke with 3 different people to ask why. Short answer was I only get the free play if I booked through their non user friendly website. If we didn't have to come here I probably would not come back here. Parking is "free" but if you're a hotel guest you get "resort" fees. This place is so far from a resort its laughable. It has several food options in the food court area. The bowling alley that we got a Bogo deal for at checkin was only for non cosmic bowling and we were only able to attend during cosmic hours, again slimy marketing schemes. read more

This review is based on the restaurant The Brass Fork. We didn't stay here we stayed on the strip but we came here Saturday and Sunday for breakfast. Did a little slot play but that was it. Had a Bloody Mary on Sunday for breakfast with my steak and eggs. It was delicious. The steak knife they gave me was so dull the serrated knife worked best to cut my steak. Hash browns nice and crispy and my eggs were cooked to perfection both days. Saturday I had the American breakfast bacon , eggs and hash browns and marbled rye toast. We have visited the Santa Fe Station Casino off and on over the past 5 years to attend concerts at the Chrome Showroom, for casino play and sports betting, watch their live DJs, and eat at the variety of restaurants they have. This casino has it all to include a movie theater, bowling alley, showroom, restaurants and lounge, poker room and more. The staff is friendly and parking is easy and free. The only negative is that smoking is allowed in the casino so sometimes you will notice it. Overall, it is a very good establishment and we have had good experiences here. read more

Had a 2 day staycation at station casino sante fe. Check in was quick and efficient and had a great conversation with John, the hotel manager. Rooms were extremely clean and well stocked. We asked Mira, our chambermaid for extra towels and toilet tissue and got it right away with a big smile. She was very polite and cleaned our room well ( 10/27-29 room 409) Had a quick bite of pizza from Stallones next to sports book. Delicious east coast NY style pizza and delicious meatballs. Got to play some Texas Holdem with Debra and Antoinette the two dealers at the table . Both were very professional and engaged in light conversation while dealing which made me feel at home. Improve your table players' comps!!!! We enjoy coming here since it's our local casino, and the table games and dealers are always fun. However, as table players, it's frustrating to see slot players receive so many gifts and perks while we get very few comps in comparison. We're not looking for giveaways like toasters, but it would be nice to receive a comped meal every now and then. Santa Fe Station Hotel & Casino off of N. Rancho Dr. This is definitely my hole in the wall place to get their Hamburger & Fries deal for $5.99 plus tax. It's 24/7 but you have to physically show your Boarding Pass Rewards Card (free to sign up) and eat the meal there. I'm fine with that when my total for 2 burger & fries, 2 drinks and 2 dinner salads comes out to $25 and change. I use to come here for an inexpensive meal, but that has definitely changed. Even though the prices now-a-days are higher, some more than others, so finding deals are great for those sudden hunger cravings. The burgers and fries were hot, fresh and well prepared. The burgers came with the usual fixings and the fries still had a nice snap and didn't taste like they'd been sitting under a heat lamp. The restaurant called "The Brass Fork" has many seatings, but for some reason certain sections are hardly open so seating is contained in a specific section, you may experience a short wait. All the servers are very nice there. I've never had any issues with service. Don't expect anything flashy - while functional, the casino itself is dated, dimly lit and mundane. I'm a local and haven't stayed in their room for a few years now so I'm just going to cover the casino, gambling floors, and the food court. Parking off of Rainbow is extremely easy. You can either choose to use the valet or self park. I would recommend using the garage to give your vehicle some shade during the hot summer months. There are 6 elevators available to use. Once at the casino floor, you can tell there are a lot of choices to fulfill your gambling adventure. For Monday night, they had many tables open. Additionally, there are many bars throughout the property so you won't go thirsty. Additionally, they have many restaurants including the food court which has Panda Express, Capriotti's Sandwich Shop, Fatburgers, Wingstop, and Starbucks. The sports bar is one of the best I've seen. Went to Santa Fe to have lunch yesterday. Their cafe is awful! The menu reminds me of when Boyd took over the Cannery and raped the Victory's Cafe menu. There was nothing on it to order that was worth the price! And the food was just OK. Do yourself a favour and skip this and go to Jerry's Nugget cafe. They discriminated against me for being disabled and using a walker. I received differential treatment from a bar tender who ignored me and when I did ask for service, she literally told me to wait and took other customers in front of me and made me wait. I was trying to get her attention because I had to urgently use the bathroom and my machine was not letting me cash out so I needed her to either get me a slot tech or reserve my machine so I could run to the bathroom. Again I was desperate to use the bathroom and instead of helping me she literally start serving a whole another group of people. I have no doubt that it was discrimination against me for being disabled. I filed a civil rights complaint with the United States justice department and their civil rights division. I almost literally urinated myself because of the bartender making me wait so long. read more

I stayed at this hotel-casino resort on two separate occasions. Affordable hotel-casino resort in North Las Vegas. It's a great value if you're ok with not having anything upscale or fancy like what they offer on the strip. Access to elevator to the rooms, you need a key. One thing I appreciated was the refrigerator in these rooms, which not even Excalibur or Mandalay Bay hotels have in their basic rooms! My first stay my mattress was slightly higher on one side than the other..Second stay it was better. Beds need to be flipped over or can use more cushion but it wasn't terrible. I still got a good night sleep! Rooms/bathroom were clean. I was able to adjust the room temp to my liking. TV was nice & big for a basic room. Plenty affordable food options! Cheaper than the strip! There's quick eats like Wing Stop, Pizza, Panda, Fat Burger, Sandwiches & Ice cream and Starbucks. 24hr Cafe was pretty decent for breakfast and I enjoyed the Mexican Restaurant. There's an Oyster Bar & Steakhouse onsite. Cinemark movie theaters, Bowling, Kids Quest/Arcade & an outdoor pool is also at this resort. Great customer service with all from the front desk, hotel operator, and housekeeping to the employees of the restaurants. Free parking is always a plus! Definitely will return! read more

Wanted a room on the north side of Las Vegas and had been here for dinner a few years ago. It was Monday but still fairly busy but service did not suffer at all. I managed to park as far away from the hotel registration as you possibly could, and as I was looking for it, one of the security personnel said he would walk me there. He walked me through the entire facility, pointing out landmarks on the way so I can make my way back. That's extraordinary service. After I checked in the front desk, staff had told me where the other parking was so I could get my bags down to the front and into the room much closer than I had parked. The room was very nice. It was quiet in the whole hotel. Everything was better than I would've expected, and the price was very competitive compared to what I had seen around other places in town. Once I settled in, I headed down to find something to eat, and I noticed the sports book which on our previous visit we hadn't really noticed that much. It was huge, miles of televisions. There's a bar right next to it. There was a pizza joint there too. Stopped in for a couple pieces of pizza and a soft drink. The two pieces of pizza could've easily fed two people, but somehow I managed! It was really good pizza. We normally stay on the strip but this is an excellent alternative. Many restaurants, great service and great location for getting back on the road north to avoid traffic. Going to visit on our next LV visit. read more

For the best competitive rate I feel like I scored big with my room at Santa Fe Station. For starters- the room. Very spacious and some of the most comfortable bedding and mattress I've slept on in a hotel. The room and bathroom were clean and housekeeping did a great job coming in to pick up every day. The carpeting in room and hallways as well as the elevators are a bit dingy and old. The casino is large and has plenty of slots and digital machines. The casino never feels over crowded like it can feel on the strip. There are like 5 restaurants and a fast food court as well as movies and bowling. It started off with someone stealing 2 of our prize give away right under our nose. Went to security and zero customer service. We recently stayed at Santa Fe Station Casino and were charged a smoking fee despite not smoking. The front desk staff seemed unsure how the system worked, and the manager stated they couldn't do anything. We were traveling as a family and had connecting rooms - the doors remained wide open the entire time. Only one room had a sensor notification - an incorrect one. Their explanation of the sensor system made little sense, and there was no real customer service when we asked for the charge to be reversed. When we asked for proof/evidence of the room smelling from their housekeeping, we were denied. We wanted something in writing knowing our rooms did not smell like smoke. No odor evidence just the sensor alone as the only evidence. There is no solid proof supporting the charge. This system has been reported as faulty multiple times online, even news stations have covered this. Overall, this experience was frustrating and disappointing. read more

Not anymore the AC didn't work in the room and then I got a charge for a "smoking" fee when I don't smoke never have smoked and have had family pass away because they have smoked. Beware people they have these sensors supposedly in these rooms that can detect smoking said it triggered for a 1/2 hour 1 time in my stay late at night when I was in the shower. Stayed here a number of times ... mostly travelling from Arizona to Nevada. This is the halfway stop. Decent rooms, clean. After my experience in the last hotel, we requested a handicapped room. Maybe it's just me .. doomed to get the worse bathrooms everywhere. The bathroom had a banjo counter top (which means the counter top extends over the toilet). But the toilet had no lid, so don't put anything on the banjo part of the sink counter, and there was no other counter space because the sink was tiny. There was a handicapped chair for you to put in the shower. However, the shower floor was too steep and slippery ... this is not good for handicapped people! Plus, there were no towel racks .. had us the handicap bars around the toilet to hang towels. And there were no soap dishes in the shower. Plus the shower head must have been 7' high. I had to stand on by toes to barely reach it. But beside all this, it's a comfortable place to stay. You've got the casino to keep you busy and multiple restaurants and a food court. read more
