Just an update here to address the business owners response for anybody reading this - the equipment that was left in our unit for the flooding was left with no instructions. We removed the equipment after one day as we did not know any better with no communication from the leasing office until a week or so later letting us know that it needed to stay in the unit for three days straight. Our floorboards are now molded and ruined. In regard to the roaches, we had pest control come last week and they took about five minutes to "evaluate" our unit. They reported that a spray was not necessary as they didn't see any "active roaches or feces." I guess next time I will coordinate with the roaches to come out of the walls while the inspector is here lol. They sprayed anyways, and the roaches have returned since then in the same place and now other spaces as well. This place is a joke, please take these reviews seriously. read more

I've lived at this property since April 2025 and during that time we've had three cockroaches inside our apartment. The larger issue is the ongoing cockroach infestation in the courtyard directly outside our unit. During the warmer months, cockroaches can be seen there almost every night. Over the past year, I have submitted numerous maintenance requests and emails asking management to address the issue by treating the courtyard, surrounding areas, and plumbing (as the pests appear to be coming from or through the pipe systems). In addition to the cockroaches in the courtyard, there are cockroaches inside the building hallways and around the exterior of the property. I also reported a mouse sighting inside our building several months ago. In over 15 years of renting across multiple states and a variety of apartment communities, I have never experienced pest issues like this especially not in a "luxury" apartment building. What is most frustrating is not only the pest problem but the lack of communication and responsiveness from management. We have rarely received follow up communication from the leasing office outside of lease signing and renewal periods. The only meaningful response I've received was when I called the office today. The woman I spoke with reported that she'd forward my message to the residence services manager. This is standard protocol for the leasing office it seems. I didn't intend to leave a public review but after more than a year of dealing with this issue and receiving little to no response from management, I feel prospective residents should be aware. There are other concerns about this property that have been mentioned in numerous reviews but the ongoing pest issues and lack of accountability are significant enough on their own. I've lived at Cannery Park for 3 years now and it has been okay. Not amazing, not terrible, but okay. Out of the few luxury apartments I've lived in, it is towards the top but that's largely due to the location. The location is what has kept me there for a few years now. Shared parking lot makes it easy to walk over to Gordon Biersch Night Market and Farmers Market which I wait for every year and frequent every week. I also just adore Japantown and it's cozy community feel, rich in culture too. Now the apartment building itself. There are great amenities but several flaws! Pros: - Location - Large oval shaped bathtubs - Community areas are well-maintained and look really nice - Appliances are pretty good - Maintenance team is quick, thorough, and friendly - 24 hour fitness access - Near a small dog park - Minimal neighbor noise through walls, cant hear anything from neighbors, just a little from overhead Cons: - Constant, and I mean constant issues with their elevators and garage doors. Sometimes takes weeks to repair and causes a lot of inconvenience - Only one mail room for the entire building leading to over stuffed lockers, and packages scattered everywhere on the floor, and on top of the mailboxes - Packages often get stolen as a result - Overall security is not the best. I've seen car break-ins, package theft, and storage unit break-ins - Yearly price increases, they often do the maximum - Dog washing station is not well maintained. Last I went only one of the stations was usable and the water hoses are always leaky. They've cycled through several front desk staff in my 3-year stay. Most are friendly, with Allison being the standout. When I first moved here, I was in a 2 bedroom 2 bath unit (H layout) without a balcony, but the price of my unit was parallel to those with balconies which I found out later. I got laid off in 2023 and had to downgrade to a 1 bedroom. Despite this, they raised our rent by the maximum. I can understand $100 price hike, but $500 is ludicrous. I pleaded with the staff and was able to lower it, but it was still a $350 increase. I understand the least staff doesn't have a lot of control ovee this, I just have been month to month for a while now and paying $3600 for a 1 bed/1 bath feels insane. I would stay here if I was staying in San Jose, but will be moving out in the summer. read more

DO NOT SIGN A LEASE HERE! TLDR: Management is greedy, unhelpful, and aloof. Renting here is essentially paying $3k+ per month for 600 sq feet and a boat load of disrespect. 1. The straw that broke the camel's back was the situation with EV charging around November 2025. Out of nowhere they made an unannounced price increase of 400% (later found out that this was either funding the unnecessarily huge amount of new chargers they were putting in, or they messed up the pricing and were too lazy to change it back). When expressing frustrations to the resident manager, she barely addresses any of your concerns and it always ended up to be a long back and forth with unhelpful ChatGPT responses to at most 1 out of 5 of your concerns. In the case that they are not using AI to respond to emails, their responses suggest a concerning level of illiteracy (also as demonstrated by the cookie cutter unhelpful responses in these Google reviews). The only thing that was helpful in getting a response and somewhat rectifying the situation was literally reaching out to ABC News 7 On Your Side. 2. As others have mentioned, rent prices are skyrocketing and only continue to get worse. There is no flexibility, even when asking for alternative lease term lengths, even when you have been a 5+ year resident. 3. Speaking of corporate greed and evil, resident manager Vanessa has been a big perpetuator of these issues. After asking for a parking space to be taken off the lease (aka we don't have that car anymore so we would like to stop spending $50 for an unreserved parking spot), she intentionally misinterpreted this to mean taking the car off the lease, not the parking spot itself. Now why the hell would we pay for a parking spot if we don't have the car itself anymore??? Needless to say, we were charged for that spot for several months after, and after confrontation all she could say was "you said car not parking spot" childishly. 4. Garage door and elevators are always broken, see attached screenshots. Someone else shared similar screenshots of hot water also always being out, that is also any issue. 5. Building is filled with irresponsible dog owners that love to let their dogs litter the carpeted hallways with dog poop. When raising this with management, they have no fix, and appear not to care anymore, not even sending the usual email blast reminding dog owners to clean up after themselves. 6. Evidence of management incapable of doing the very simple job of sending emails: the building decided to power wash and paint the entire building, letting us know via email a month in advance and telling us we'd receive notices when it was time for our specific areas prior to the actual day of cleaning so we could remove our belongings from patios/balconies. To my surprise, in the middle of my work day, a fully grown man hobbled precariously via ladder over our third floor balcony to intensely power wash the balcony, damaging plants and belongings. No notice whatsoever from the building. Pictures attached. 7. Building managers used to be helpful and work in person at the leasing office (can you imagine, showing up to your job in person??). In years since, office hours have been cut back, responses to emails are incredibly slow (unless you're ending your lease and they're eager to put your unit back on the market to scam someone else for more money), and no one works in the office on site anymore besides their tiny window of "office hours". 8. Yes, package theft absolutely happens, to be expected living in a city. However, it baffles me how shipping carriers have so much trouble getting into the mail room, yet thieves are just waltzing in? I've literally gotten a call from UPS letting me know how frustrated they have been with the leasing office, especially now that no one works there to help them in to deliver packages. So expect about half of your packages to be either stolen or undeliverable. Bonus: apparently half of the building has roaches now! Also the pool area looks like a meteor hit it, it's been under construction for months! read more

DO NOT MOVE HERE: Moving out after my lease is up and here is why: Complex is motivated by money. I work with property management and the leasing office here and owners are only driven by filling units and making their income. There are packages stolen every single day. All the leasing office does is say "sorry that happened but it's not our problem due to the contracts." Long story short packages are stolen every single day and they just say sorry contact the delivery service and work it out with them. There have been multiple car break ins and again, no urgency from the front desk aside from "sorry that happened, file a police report" The office takes multiple days off and are rarely around. I give major credit to the engineers who work here because they are always on top of things and seem short handed. This complex has 2 garage doors and of the 3-4 years i lived here the doors have been broken 75% of the time. I highly recommend do not move here. I have spoke with multiple other residents who are leaving as well. : EDIT: Though they will tell you there will be an increase of "security patrols" this does nothing. I have a background in working security before. The only thing they do is potentially add an extra patrol meaning they will drive through once and that's it. In the years i lived here I have seen security maybe a couple times ever. They also do not have great security measures for camera system locations (being that I have experience with both property management and working security it is easy to see where the flaws are) entire parking garage is unsafe and apartment complex itself is unsafe. Save your money. Find a place that values your safety instead of the BS "sorry it's your responsibility not ours even though you're paying premium dollar to live here" read more

It's just been a week since I moved in but I cannot believe how many problems that I had to face. On the first night of move in, I realized that they just cleaned the visible parts of the unit. The laundry washer was filthy (still filthy), even growing so much mold on the detergent bin. The maintenance only cleaned the detergent bin and replace the rubber part near the door but the mold smell is still there whenever I open the washer door. I sent those photos of the mold shortly after move in to the leasing office and they called saying that if replacing parts don't work, they'll replace the washer, but now they say they can't do anything. I still feel very uncomfortable washing my clothes in moldy washer. Also, they said they renovated my unit, but what I don't see any renovation. The dishwasher was all stripped at the time of move in (dishwasher was replaced after I put in work order). Also, the fan that goes 24/7 in the bathroom is so loud to the point where it bothers my sleep, so the maintenance team checked but there's nothing they could do about it. And when they were checking, there was literally a pile of dust falling off. Obviously, they didn't even bother cleaning the unit other than just floor and table top just to look clean. There are dog poop everywhere you go and the mailroom is so disorganized with lots of trash. And literally anyone can break in, because there's no security. No fobs needed to get into the building during the day and I see a lot of strangers trying to break in. I got sick within 3 days of move-in because my allergy got so bad. Considering all this, it's very overpriced. I regret so much for moving here and can't wait to move out asap. read more

I'd like to preface this review by saying that the maintenance team are all very helpful and kind. 5/5 for them. Unfortunately, the rest of my experience at Cannery Park by Windsor here has left a bad taste and I can't wait for my lease to be concluded. The leasing office has increased the EV charging in the parking garage (that we already pay for) from $0.21/kWh to $0.45/kWh which makes charging at home both as expensive and far less convenient than using a supercharger despite undertaking a project to convert the entire first floor garage to EV charging. So be prepared to pay supercharger prices for charging that takes 8 hours. A few days ago we were assured in an email that this was an error and would be fixed to the original price, but they have since sent out a building-wide email confirming the change. My car's door lock was damaged during an attempted theft in the locked parking garage, which lacks security cameras except for the two entrances on the first floor. Although I doubt these are in working order either since this has apparently been an ongoing issue Despite being told the footage would be reviewed, I never received any follow-up or anything beyond being told this has not happened in a while. They claim to have security patrols, but I have never seen these in the entire time I have lived here. In addition, my bike was stolen from the building's locked bike room. The bike room door clearly shows signs of tampering. Again, the office told me they would review the footage from the security camera inside the bike room, but I never received any follow-up. The water has been shut off either building-wide or on either side of the building many times and the garage doors have been out of service multiple times and up to months at a time. The hallways and stairwells are consistently grubby and the elevators are poorly maintained which has led to multiple repairs and out-of-service days. In the apartment, the appliances are obviously the cheapest they could rationalize. No "luxury" here. I will not be renewing and I encourage all prospective residents to look for a place with more competent management and where you get amenities that are worth the rent. The "luxury" part of this complex is clearly marketing for prospective tenants. read more

My partner, my dog and I lived at Cannery Park for two years in a 2 bedroom, 1 bathroom unit. Michelle, Gloria, Ali, and Tina in the leasing office really help to make the residents here feel supported. The maintenance team is also extremely responsive and resolve issues in a timely manner despite at times being spread thin. The community is incredibly dog friendly. There is a city owned/operated dog park right outside the building. The dogs that regularly visit the park tend to be in the large dog range but occasionally when the park was more empty (typically early morning or late evening), my pup was able to enjoy the park at his leisure. Smaller dogs may be able to squeeze through the fencing so just something to be mindful of if your pup is on the smaller side. The parking garage felt quite secure and I didn't experience any instances of cars tailgating behind me to get into the garage. Those in the community felt quite respectful to the common areas as well. In the apartment, I found the kitchen and bathrooms to both be quite spacious. One bedroom was used as an office and the smaller closet in that room worked well for our needs. The walk in closet on the other side of the apartment was extremely spacious (enough to fit a section of our couch!!). Japantown is about a block and a half away. On Thursday evenings during the summer, Gordon Biersch night market is right outside the building. And on Sunday mornings, the Japantown farmers market occurs in the Gordon Biersch parking lot. The area is extremely lively with events in walking distance while also being in a quiet area where I had no problem with outside noise despite going to bed at 9pm. Rent here is on the pricier side but with the ambience that came with it, I felt that it was well worth it. I do wish the rate at which they raised the rent wasn't so steep but it seemed to be in line with the surrounding area (actually a bit more "affordable" compared to the newer complexes in the area). Not a fault of the community but there are sporadic fireworks that can be heard in the distance some evenings. There is also a train that comes through the area regularly. read more

This review is long overdue but I'm officially done procrastinating! I've lived in Cannery Park for over a year now (liked it so much that I renewed my lease) and it's been a great experience. The units are spacious (huge bathrooms and walk-in closets), the amenities are impressive, and the staff is helpful. It's especially a great place to live if you have a dog - nothing beats having fenced in dog park on property. The pool is beautiful and I've never seen it get overcrowded, they have screening rooms and an event space that residents can reserve, and there are multiple lounges for entertaining guests or for working. But the real reason I'm writing this review is Corey from maintenance. This man and his team are incredibly friendly and efficient. I submit a maintenance request online and they typically arrive the very next day, no matter how small the issue is. Corey has changed our lightbulbs, installed new air filters and shower drains, provided new shelves for our fridge, etc. Literally no task is too small and he's a pleasure to be around. The leasing office staff is also great and occasionally organize cute events, like free ice cream or Halloween giveaways for residents and their dogs. In a city where there are so many luxury apartment buildings, I can say my experience has been different than many of my friends who live in other ones. We have been a tenant here since October 2019. We agreed to the higher price per square foot based on the amenities provided here. Since COVID, our access to these amenities has been forbidden and we have seen no forgiveness in our rent due each month. We have submitted a tenant review addressing our concerns over two weeks ago, and have not received a response. There are several of our neighbors who are also disgusted with the lack of compensation to the tenants rent due each month we are not allowed to use the amenities we pay for, as contracted. They are definitely easy to take your money but not as willing to listen to customer complaints. My boyfriend and others do not plan to renew our lease with Windsor properties or any Windsor affiliated property in the future. Their complete disregard of what We were told would be provided in my contract has not been fulfilled and there has been no monetary relief for our inconvenience. We hesitated to post the yelp review but it is a last resort to get our voices heard. **Update** To Windsor properties, my boyfriend has emailed you at the email address provided. For the record, my name on yelp is a nick name and you won't find it in your tenant file. Our apartment is priced at 4.1$ per sqft when others at this time are priced at $2.5-3.5$ a sqft. A contract goes both ways- we signed up for luxury amenities and a premier price. You are getting the premier price and we're not getting the amenities built into the price. My partner and I called Cannery Park our home for 3 years from 2021 to 2024. We lived in a 2-bedroom unit on the 4th floor. We would have signed our lease for another year if our rent didn't increase by 10%. Our experience living here was mostly positive so I believe that Cannery Park deserves an honest review. Pros: - The leasing office staff is friendly and professional. From move-in to move-out it was a smooth process with fantastic communication. For a period of time, they managed our packages and had 0 issues with that. - The maintenance team (shoutout to Freddie, such a super nice guy that helped us a lot) was phenomenal. We had to have our garbage disposal and dishwasher replaced--they replaced it with 0 issues. They also unclogged our sinks, toilets, tubs. Any issues we had with the unit were resolved promptly which I think is super underrated in apartment complexes. - Our unit in particular was excellent. There are modern appliances, plenty of storage, a large bathroom, etc. It was the perfect space for us and our cat. I have seen other reviews complaining about noise but we didn't experience any disturbing noise. Despite living close to the airport, we would not hear planes often. If we did, it would just be a slight hum above us, nothing too disturbing. - The units support ATT fiber. Both of our rooms had RJ-45 outlets making internet setup a breeze. - The amenities are beautiful and well-kept. Cons: - The rent increases can be pretty steep, with 10% being the top end of our increases over the years (ultimately causing us to not renew). During previous years we were able to negotiate them down a bit but this last renewal was just too much for us to continue staying here. - The garage doors and elevators break down often. There was a period of time where the 10th street garage entrance was closed for weeks. - The parking garage lacks security cameras. Our car was hit and run by another resident but we were luckily able to track them down. I had a windshield wiper stolen from my car. I recommend treating the garage as if it's a public parking one. Additional Notes: - Packages are managed by Luxer lockers but they often will overflow due to the sheer volume of packages the complex receives. This means your packages will be left outside of the lockers or in front of the leasing office. We didn't have any packages stolen but they did have flyers up around Thanksgiving/Christmas time warning residents about thieves. read more

My husband and I lived at Cannery Park for just about two years - and if it wasn't for our recent relocation to San Diego, we would have renewed for a third lease term. We love the location - Close enough to Downtown San Jose, but not directly in the middle of all the congestion. When we first moved in, there were several events next door at the Gordon Biersch Brewery {Farmer's Market's every Sunday and Food Truck Night/Live Music on Thursday's } - Unfortunately, with the pandemic and the many CA lockdowns, these had not yet returned prior to our move. This is completely understandable - and we loved being right in Japantown - just a cool place to walk around and explore - Tons of street art and photo ops available, great restaurants and cute shops. When we first moved in, the community had recently opened and was owned by The Hanover Company. We worked with Maya who made our move in seamless and just as easy as possible. We soon came to know Michelle {an A+ Leasing Specialist} who is an absolute gem and made Cannery Park feel like home. Not long after we moved in, the community was sold to Windsor Communities {which is sometimes what happens once a community is out of it's "lease up" phase} - Typically when a community makes a management changes, there are some bumps in the road and it isn't always the easiest - This was far from the case with this transition as it was seamless and the new team that came on board were just as wonderful. Regan, Corina, Allison and the rest of the leasing team, along with the stellar maintenance team are always so welcoming, accommodating and personable - Makes you feel like more than just an apartment number. I believe we only had two maintenance issues while we were there {and small issues.. nothing crazy} - The maintenance team is knowledgeable, friendly and always sure to clean up after coming into your home. The entire team makes the experience here so much better - Thanks y'all! The community is beyond beautiful and has some wonderful amenity spaces - A resort-like pool deck, a multi-purpose business center, a large party room w/ a full kitchen, a game area, several outdoor lounge areas, a fantastic state-of-the-art fitness center, dog park, a bocce ball court.. just to name a few. Once Covid hit, the amenity spaces were closed down {rightfully so}, and have re-opened or will re-open based on a reservation system in compliance with the country ordinance. I've seen a few reviews where folks have stated their frustration with the amenities being closed and I can't help but to shake my head - The community is simply following county guidelines in order to keep both the residents as well as the staff safe and healthy. I'm not if sure people realize, but amenity spaces are not a guarantee within the community, they are considered to be an "extra" and are not included in the monthly rental price. We should be thankful that we live in a community that has our safety in mind. Each of the homes are absolutely gorgeous {and come with a few different color schemes and floor plans} - And we happened to find the layout that was perfect for us! Stunning grey wood flooring throughout the entire space, stainless steel appliances, ceiling fans, a nest thermostat and fun kitchen backsplashes. While we only needed a one bedroom {we are minimalists}, Cannery Park offers studios, one and two bedroom homes - And with all of the available floor plans, you are sure to find one that suits your needs. As someone that has worked in the property management field for years and years, I am very particular about the place that I choose to call home {as I know CA housing laws, guidelines and what to expect from a community} - And Cannery Park exceeded our expectations 10 fold. My husband and I first moved into this apartment 4 years ago when it was Hanover Cannery Park and we loved it. The property was well-kept, management was responsive and tenants rarely had issues with security. After Windsor took over the property we noticed it quickly going downhill. The pictures you see on Yelp are SO deceiving. It rarely looks that clean unless the office is getting visitors doing inspections and they don't even clean up the entire building. I've seen that they only clean the floors that will be on route of their walk through. It started with dirty hallways, dog poop all over the property and messy mail rooms with packages getting stolen. The office does nothing to solve any issues and is usually confused or just apologetic. I've been seeing more intruders in the garage or even come in and and stay in the lobby bathroom. The office does nothing but send an email to be careful. Ever since Covid it's only gotten worse. You can't use most amenities that the apartment offers because it's either locked or not working. There is now a pest issue (cockroaches, bugs, rats) and there are filled traps all over the first floor. The mailroom is often a shitshow. The last straw for me was when my storage unit down the hall from my apartment got broken into. The office left a vague voicemail saying we got broken into and we automatically thought it was our apartment! When my husband talked to the office and asked where security was, they explained that even with all the break ins and robberies, they can only afford limited security due to budget cuts. All they said they could do was replace the lock.... I have no words.. This stressful situation was handled so poorly. We will not be resigning a lease and I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE. read more

Been here a few years now and I recently rented their in apartment storage for $75 (a tiny space..) it recently got broken into along with multiple other storage units, but what frustrates me the most is that there were recent break ins and per the apartments recent statement around "increased crime" the apartment has decreased budget for security and they only come patrol the area 2-3 times a week. This is extremely frustrating getting our storage broken into and many of our sentimental values being stolen, which is in the hallways between other apartments! According to a few tenants, this has been an ongoinging issue within this apartment for years and they still have not done anything about it other than replace the locks (obviously it's clearly not working since they know how to get through the locks). They clearly knew this was an issue and did not disclose this information and now we have lot sentimental items for our child - probably thousands of dollars worth. The apartment staff can only say "sorry" and to go with renter's insurance to solve the problem, however, what frustrates me even more is that their solution is to replace locks which will most likely be broke into again the same exact way because they can't get a simple security procedure in place - especially if crime/break ins have been increasing. This apartment used to be great when it was owned by Hanover.. but ever since Windsor took over, it has been going downhill (pest issues - there are mouse/pest traps all over the 1st floor and cockroaches everywhere). The management has no control over anything, vehicles being broken in the garages, bike storage broken into in the garages and packages being stolen.. they have absolutely no control or resolve for these issues and yet they love to raise the rent. I've lived here for the past 3-4 years and simple items such as pest control can't be handled correctly - if you are looking to spend this amount in rent I would highly recommend to avoid this apartment and go somewhere where the apartment mgmt actually does proactive actions and can actually do something about it instead of give you lip service.. biggest waste of money. read more

This is seriously getting worse every year. The elevators are broken again for the second time when they have been broken for six months last year. Exit door to garage and apartment building constantly broken. Water shut off constantly with no notice. Excuses made constantly for every problem with no accountability. They rented to literal criminals a year ago and it took forever to evict them while all of our property was being stolen and there was no safety or security. Rent raised every year but amenities and basic necessities broken always. Gym equipment old and broken. They put in a foosball table and acted like they did the building some amazing improvement. Every night I regret signing the lease because our upstairs neighbors are always stomping, moving furniture, working out, etc. while we and our baby are trying to sleep. I can't even count the number of times my baby has woken up crying because it sounds like the ceiling is going to fall through. Our nanny frequently says, "oh the giants are up again." That's how thin the floors are. There should be quiet hours in place like other apartments we've lived at. Maintenance & front desk are stellar though. Great team. read more

I've lived at Cannery Park by Windsor for a year and half now, and I must say I've enjoyed my time here. The staff at the leasing office are all very friendly and professional, and respond to all issues or questions very very quickly. The amenities are quite nice as well, but most are shut down due to country restrictions during the pandemic. The apartments are all nicely built and much higher quality than most apartment complexes in the area. We love our floor plan and all of the storage it offers us (way more than we need). The neighbors in the complex are also awesome, and we've made some good friends while living here. Plus the dog park next door is an awesome perk for us. We're sad to leave later this month.. the only reason we are is because we purchased a home! read more

Everything from my application process to the move out has been seamless. I moved in a few months before the pandemic but got a feel for the complex because one of my good friends already lived here and happened to be my new neighbor once I signed my lease. I've never had an issue with my stay and they were responsive and kept me safe during the pandemic. Though the location is in a seedy part of downtown, there is security on site and the additional check points that require a key fob made me feel secure, even at random times of the day. The residence are all young professionals so I never had any issues or run ins with bad company. Last but not least, the staff is amazing! They all are responsive to emails and have followed up with me about any leftover packages/mail that seemed to have been sent there even post move. read more

They have nice pool and other amenities. I choose here because it looks fancy. However, if you want someplace quiet during COVID, definitely avoid here. Before we reserve our unit we called to confirm if it has a balcony. They said it has so my boyfriend and I reserved it immediately. But on the day we moved in we found our unit does not have a balcony. We did not try to argue about it because it would be time consuming. ***Main problem: THIN FLOOR. I can hear people walking above me all the time. Don't even mention when they are arguing or laughing loud. I can even hear our upstairs neighbors slamming their toilet seat every day. Beautiful apartment complex with a look that will sell you immediately. But, once you live here, it's quite a nightmare with the noise. You can hear every footstep, every item dropped, every time a door is closed... everything. I give the leasing office credit for trying to help, but the building was built in a way where it's impossible and you have to live with it (and count down the days til your lease is up). If you enjoy having a hard time falling asleep, enjoy being woken up when your upstairs neighbor wakes up, and love having to turn up your TV to hear what you're watching, move on in. :) If you're lucky enough to be on the top floor, please remember that your downstairs neighbor can hear everything. My wife and I recently moved out from Cannery Park but were happy with our experience overall there. We had to break our lease due to Covid and personal circumstances. Management was willing to allow us 30 days notice vs the 60 days written on the contract. Greatly appreciate their understanding during these times. Here were some positives for us: -The staff in the leasing office were usually quick to respond. -Location is super convenient and easy to get around everywhere, once you get used to the one way streets. -Common areas were pretty clean -Bathtub was hugeee. Made bathtime for our son easier. -A/C was very quick and gets pretty cold. -Packages go to a locker. We didn't have to worry too much that our package would get stolen. And some negatives, most aren't the fault of the staff: -Nowhere is safe from jerks. We forgot to lock our car door in the garage and someone decided to go in and steal paperwork... -Some tenants decide to leave their trash in the trash chute rooms for staff to take care of...) -We would have liked that staff communited that, though optional, it is highly recommended to choose the exit cleaning which was $200. Not bad considering we've paid more before. We just ended up cleaning most of our unit before our walk through. Opted for paint touch up as well for $75. -Some package lockers were broken. As well as, the big lockers were shared. We didn't have anything stolen but again, there's always that one jerk. Missing some things but that's what comes to mind. Overall, pros for us outweighed the cons. If we could have stayed longer, we would have. Just moved into these apartments recently and everything has been pretty smooth so far. Our unit appeared like new upon thorough move-in inspection. Any existing maintenance issues were quickly addressed and resolved by Troy Cresswell, our Maintenance Technician who provides excellent customer service and quality expertise. I am confident that I made the right decision to move into this community and trust that any possible future issues will be quickly resolved by Troy and his maintenance team. Michelle and Regan have also been a great help with onboarding and coordinating with the maintenance team. Nearby dog park right outside the building is also a huge bonus for my corgi puppy. read more

We had new neighbors move in directly above us a few months ago, and they may just be the loudest human beings on the planet. Every single night as late as 1am (on weeknights!) and as early as 5am, they make various noises ranging from moving furniture to playing catch inside with their dogs. No box fan or noise machine is loud enough to prevent them from waking us up. These neighbors refuse to quiet down, and both the front office and security refuse to interfere because no one is on duty at night. I don't think the security in this building actual exists, because I have never seen anyone around. We will not be renewing our lease when we can't even have a decent night's rest in our home. Also, my car was broken into while parked in the parking garage! There wasn't even anything inside, and I don't have a fancy car, so I cannot comprehend why they felt the need to do that. You know how the front office helped? They tried to charge us for new keys! This place just isn't worth the money when they charge so much. read more

I've been living at Cannery Park since March and love it! I finally feel at home in my own apartment. I love facing the pool and that I have a brighter unit with a lot of sun. There's a ton of parking and spots for my guests to use as well. Right next to a park, running trails and Japantown. My only downfall is - I think the unit above has all hardwood floors (like me), so I hear their footsteps more often than not. This doesn't bother me too much and it seems to be normal with hardwood floors in apartments. It's not the end of the world and the hassle of moving to a top floor apartment is not worth it. The office staff really make the experience 5 star for me. The maintenance team is so quick and efficient. Anytime I had a request, someone showed up the SAME DAY to help out! The team here has excellent response time and anytime I call or email, the office gets back to me quickly. The office staff really care about my experience here and always try their best to help out with any questions or concerns that I have (like when I lost a package, then Regan searched every mailbox locker and found it!!). My family and I have lived here since July 2018. Any time there is a maintenance issue, the staff is very prompt to address it. Gabriel works especially hard, even on weekends to make sure we are comfortable and any issue gets addressed. He is also diligent about giving updates and advising what to expect. If they have to call a vendor on the weekend during a holiday to do repairs, then that's what they do. Although I can't pick my neighbors, I did pick a good complex with management/maintenance that care. read more

I lived here for a little over a year and had a really wonderful experience. I'll touch on a few things that were important to me when considering leasing here: Noise: I lived on the top floor and I never experienced any noise disturbances whatsoever. The community is quiet and the only thing you may hear is the occasional plane or train near by (no more than 1x a day). I did hear some reviews of people having noise complaints from upstairs neighbors so if you are very sensitive to noise I would recommend looking at units on the 4th floor. Dogs/Pets: I am not a pet owner and had never lived in a pet-friendly community before this so I was nervous about barking noises and pet cleanliness. I only saw one "accident" during my time living here and the maintenance team cleaned it up in the same day. Dogs were always on leashes indoors and people are really respectful when passing in hallways. Maintenance: I submitted several maintenance requests during my time here and every single one was responded to and fixed within 24 hours. The maintenance team is super responsive and always called to make sure it was a good time to stop by before showing up. Parking/Safety: All units come with one gated garage parking space. There were 0 break-ins or issues during my stay there and the surrounding area felt safe. There were a couple of maintenance issues with the garage door but the office was always very quick to update residents and send someone to fix as soon as possible. Front Office Staff: Michelle and the rest of the management team are really kind and always willing to help. With over 400 units in the building I was surprised that the staff would greet me by name and remember my unit number. It made a huge difference in my experience. Amenities: The amenities here are gorgeous and clean. The gym is open 24 hours. It's a bit smaller but it never felt too crowded. The peak time seemed to be from 5-6 pm on weekdays. read more

The apartment tends to get a bit noisy especially if you are in middle floors. You could hear both top and bottom level neighbors. Sometimes the fast motions of your neighbors shakes your apartment. I love dogs. One of neighbors had dog which barked extremely loud, and sometimes shook us inside apartment. It was a lovely lively dog If you end up moving-in be very careful regarding the conditions of your apartment during at the move out bc it can get extremely extremely expensive during move-out. Water has tendency to stain pots, kettles, ... . Adding filters did not work for us. People mostly drive fast in the garage. It may get scary at times. read more

I moved in here during the pandemic and have loved living here! The staff is wonderful and the apartments are beautiful. I love my apartment and the amenities. The pool, courtyards, and gym are great! The only downside is the noise insulation. I can't hear the people next to me, but I can hear my upstairs neighbor working out and stomping around. This review isn't for Cannery Park by Windsor, it is for Michelle in the leasing office. Ever since we moved in, Michelle has been amazing. Not only does she remember who we are and greet us like friends, but she is always so warm and friendly. She will call us if we ever have packages to pick up and when we show up to pick them up she just goes on back to grab them with a smile. She has made living here truly feel like management cares about us rather than seeing us as just people who they are renting space to.
