The crew worked incredibly hard all day to remove 11 dead and dying trees in close proximity to our home. They removed all of the wood and cleaned up. Mike returned himself a week later to grind all the stumps. During the grinding a shallow sprinkler pipe was inadvertently damaged. Although Bergholz's was under no obligation to fix or repair the sprinklers, Mike spent an additional 5 hours completing repairs and cleaning up. There was no additional charge. He said they would send a crew out to take care of the areas needing cleaned up. This was a week ago and no show from Captains tree service. On her drive back to the office, Natalie actually took the time to text me a photo of a local tree contractor she spotted nearby. She recommended him, noting that he's local, would likely offer more competitive pricing, and wouldn't have as far of a drive. In this day and age, it's almost unheard of for a business owner to go out of their way to refer a potential customer to a competitor like that.
