I called Cannonball and there was no answer, went to voicemail - a robot voice saying the phone number - nothing saying the name of the company to confirm that I even had the correct number - then it says "voice mail is full" - 5 minutes later I get a text from them saying "please text" not even a full sentence. Moved in our new house. Everything needed to be kinda renovated. That's what we liked. But before anything, our pool, being in SoCal, got all the attention right away. From an old white plaster with side crude on the tiles. Super old equipment. Pool water needed treatment to the point just emptying and refilling would have solved half the problems. But why fix some instead of all. Got a couple quotes, Junior and Amber we very responsive. I didn't get back to them right away, giving the other people time to respond. Wait. Why wait? When they reached out we knew we were in good hands. We were not going with plaster. We decided on, well I forget what it's called but it's aqua mini pebbles lol. They helped us with samples. They helped talk us through the difference in equipment. There are two major brands and lucky for us when you get pump filter and heater we got a 5 year warranty. That was then not sure about now. ***we weren't able to install the heater because we didn't have a gas line. Yesterday a leak detection company inspected my pool and the patch plus the perimeter patching they installed was leak free. Although the rapid-setting concrete patch wasn't poured in a single pour and the cold joints can be seen where the guy had to mix additional concrete as he was working solo, it doesn't leak. A long-time search for a reliable company for pool service has come to an end. I cannot praise enough about Cannonball Pools from knowledge, professionalism, quality to great customer service. I contacted them and left a message explaining the issue. In less than an hour Junior called me back. He diagnosed the problem over the phone and sent me an estimate within 30 minutes which was very reasonable. He showed up on time on the day of my appointment and installed the part in less than an hour. He followed up the next day to make sure everything was working properly. This problem, flow back of debris into the pool after vacuuming, had been an issue for almost a year. I called a few companies, and their diagnosis was dirty filter, damaged filter, old pump, etc. No one was able to understand what was going on. The solution was installation of a valve.
