But Marvin always brings his machine with him and always manages to leave the pool sparkling. He is also very friendly and always seems to be in good mood. His prices are really competitive and he never complains about how hard it is to clean the pool. He truly seems to like his job and he takes pride in it! My pool is green with wrigglers swimming in it and the other pool is damage.... why would I pay you for services that he didn't provide to keep my pool clean? He took out our filter and broke it. He bullshitted that its old and needed to be replaced. (We just bought all new filters a few months back) He never came back to reinstall them. Left it there dirty pulled apart drying in the sun so it could get even more damaged. Meanwhile the pool is not filtering and turning green with wrigglers all over the pool. It was so disgusting. I'm so upset that he had the nerves to tell me, " you don't have to pay for the other house.... just pay me for the other house." He promised to come by the next day and never did. Then he said," I'll come by Sunday" and never did... In the beginning he told us every Tuesday. Then that changed to Saturday without our knowledge then one day it changed to Sunday again without telling us. Yet we were very nice and never had an issue if he came another day.... then he started doing the not show up for weeks, leaving the pool green and nasty blaming it on the filter. Charging for filter cleaning. Dude show up to work and work! He skips both houses for weeksssss. How do you expect me to pay you for June when both pool looks like shit the last 2 months? You get paid when you do your job and show up. Check your camera guys. I'm warning you... he doesn't not show up weekly sometime longer. If he does show up he takes 5 minutes SKIMMING THE POOL and takes off.

Pricing was competitive -- we got multiple estimates and Way To Go came in reasonable without cutting corners. You can see it in the finish quality: the stonework is clean, the tile on the curved bench is precise, and the side yard pathway turned out better than we imagined. Sure enough, some of the values where off. What is astonishing, is that I had approached them with the issue to give them a chance to do the job right. A few months later there where signs of Algae, and I was told this is normal at this time of the year and a special treatment is necessary that would cost me hundreds of dollars. The straight up lies and being treated like an idiot are unbelievable. If your chemistry is done right, there will never be an algae build up and no special treatment is necessary. I have since then hired a professional company and I realize I had forgotten how gorgeous the water can look like.

I immediately felt that we were in good hands. Ben adjusted all our settings to make sure we're set for the summer swim season, advised on some cartridges that I needed to replace (which he didn't try to upsell me), turned on our ozone which had been inexplicably turned off, and cleaned all our filters which were absolutely filthy. He worked hard for a couple of hours doing all this, and he showed me a few things so I could take better care of our pool myself. By the way, my pool cleaner had told me I needed our 6-month old filters REPLACED for upwards of $800. Now I know that pool filters last 5+ years unless they're structurally compromised, just hose them down or call Ben. Highly recommend
