These people are responsible for so much of my children's success. I am forever grateful for all…read morethat they've done to help us. Sensory Link Pediatric Therapy is the best place in our area for occupational, speech, and physical therapy for kids with a wide variety of needs. The owner is an occupational therapist (OT) who treats kids at this location. She is personally invested in the success of the business and the children that she treats. We've been seeing an OT here since they opened over four years ago. A few years ago we added speech. They emphasize sensory input to help regulate and get children back in sync. They have several excellent feeding therapists for children that have trouble eating certain textures, moving food within their mouth, swallowing, gagging, or aversions to certain types of food. They are also excellent at helping children with hand writing and use the Hand Writing Without Tears system. Every employee here loves kids & their job. They work hard to personalize services to help each child to achieve their maximum potential in life and to close the gap on developmental delays as quickly as possible. Their new location is in a bright, beautiful, eco-friendly building with lots of room for the kids to run, jump and have sensory fun. They have a large waiting area with lots of toys to play with while the children wait and to keep siblings busy during the appointment. I noticed lately that many of the children like to stay after their appointment to play in the waiting area a little longer. This place is fun, professional, and effective. We love Sensory Link!!

During week end visit no therapies, and we helped him walk with walker. After just 10 days they discharged him wearing a diaper. Not the sort of independence in activities of living we had in mind. We struggled to get him up the few steps into the house, even though they said he was doing steps in therapy. He hasn't done much since.

This place is incredible! My mother in law, Elinka, was recently admitted from AGH after surgery. I…read moreflew in from Southern California to visit her and was impressed with the high quality healthcare and attention she received. I am a physician in the Los Angeles area and there are no rehab hospitals that even come close to the level of care Elinka has received here. The PT, OT, ST were stellar and the therapist were not only extremely knowledgeable but very caring. The nurses were exceptionally genuinely caring and accommodating. Admin staff including receptionist, dieticians and the social workers were always very helpful. Flying in from California, I wanted to be close to the mother in law so they allowed me to stay at absolutely no charge in one of the 4 guest rooms they use for family....Unbelievable and unheard of in Southern California. The Decour is also unique and has a lot of character as it has a colonial style and is very quaint. I feel like I'm staying at a bed-and-breakfast. Anyway, I can keep going on and on about how this place has far exceeded my expectations of any rehab hospital that I have ever been to or seen. If more health facilities were like this around the United States, this world would be a much better place. Thank you Encompass health of Sewickley!!!

The appointments tend to be 75-90 minutes long, with the first and final appointments running on the longer side. The equipment is sanitized between uses and neatly returned to their places when not being used. Generally, patients are greeted, welcomed to the PT area, assigned a table to set their belongings on, warm up exercises, manual body manipulation, supervised exercises, and finished with ice/heat therapy on the affected area for 15 minutes. Monday and Wednesday mornings are the least hectic for appointments. Shout out to Rob, Jared, and Cass - they helped me to regain my mobility. Covid-19 precautions include asking unvaccinated people to wear masks, temperature checks upon check in, and screening questions related to possible symptoms. I wore a mask at all times despite being vaccinated as I am immunocompromised. Some staff members wear masks, ones who do not typically wear them are willing to wear one for patient safety/peace of mind. I would love for staff to receive training for best practices for supporting gender diverse clients, including inclusive intake forms, use of patient's chosen name and correct pronouns.

Sometimes, that room is not very clean as well. I wish they cleaned and sanitized daily. I'm hopeful that Saber will make some improvements now that they've owned this facility for over a year now. The STAFF however is SUPERB!! My mom has been there since June 2024 and I feel like they have all become my family. I can't say enough amazing things about Nurses Kim and Pat and aides Key, Yvonne, Mousta and the other aides!! They ALL do an amazing job taking care of Mom. Director Marianne has been wonderful to work with as well. She's been very kind and understanding. Tammy has been helping me get mom approved for assistance and she's very knowledgeable about the process as it is extremely overwhelming. She's made it so easy to submit the required paperwork. Wendy goes out of her way to schedule doctor's appointments for Mom. She went above and beyond one day and drove to the doctor's office once when Mom was being difficult and wouldn't leave. Lindsay and his team in Laundry take care of Laundry on a daily basis. I don't know how they do it!! Jody in activities really cares for the patients and makes sure their brains are stimulated. I could go on and on. 24 hour skilled nursing is not fun or easy. I could never do this for mom at home, so I am thankful for this team. It takes a village to take care of a loved one with dementia. Thank you, East End!!

I wasn't allowed to go for a walk without a staff member, rarely did they have the time for me. I am diabetic and it took several days to get my meals switched to diabetic. My bed was too short, when I arrived, I was told they had to bring a bed extension, It several days and many complaints. It took 5 days to get a working TV set, that only happened because my friend fixed it. My first week there, I was in much pain (broken back and arm), I screamed for hours to get help. One of the head nurses scolded and threatened me for not sitting up on my own, after falling.

I'm happy to say that with two more months of PT on my own, I'm now at 90% strength, something I didn't think possible. You get an incredible amount of attention and personalization here; the therapists all listened to my lofty goals and then pushed me to achieve them. This is a teaching center, and so there is always someone with you even if the main therapist is busy, something I have not experienced at other clinics. There are two gyms that are well-stocked with various equipment, and the staff are great at suggesting at-home versions of exercises where your home setup falls short. I hope I don't need to go back here, but I wouldn't hesitate to choose CRS again should the need arise! They accept both referrals and self-referrals, although you should check your insurance coverage before self-referring.
