Rob is our superhero…read more We requested for the following: - LED Light Strip Kitchen Cabinet installs that included non-conventional LED Light strips used for this kind of work (Philips Hue). - Ceiling Fan install into a large wooden beam with molding details. - Sub Panel install on the second floor (for more of my crazy ideas that I will certainly ask BQ electric to do) - Outlet install in 3 different closets The ceiling fan was an extremely difficult job. They did a good job trying to minimize the damage as much as possible. The damage that was made was promptly fixed. This is the third time we've had them come to the home. I'm writing a review for this particular service call since it was larger than the last service call (thermostat installs). BQ - if you see this - be prepared, I will call you for lighting updates on the outside of the house this time :)

Electricians Vinny and Anthony were personable and answered all our questions. When unexpected issues came up, they presented us with a range of options and didn't pressure us into having any additional work done. They also accommodated an additional small job that popped up unexpectedly. Estimates are done via computer software, so you can expect consistency in pricing - they're not just making up numbers as they go along. Overall, I found them professional, knowledgeable, and reliable and would use them again. Electrical work isn't cheap - especially on Long Island - but I think we made out OK given the quality of the work and the amount of time they spent on the job.

He couldn't do it, even though he agreed. He came to do the job but never provided me with a receipt or the written letter I needed. He kept avoiding my calls and text messages over a simple letter. At this point I believe he can't write or spell. He is a con artist and a scam. Don't waste your money!!!

On Sunday evening I decided to install a ceiling fan in one of the bedrooms but there's not fixture there. Jason responded quickly and after discussing, said they could get it done on the same day. John and his apprentice showed up at the earlier portion of the promised time. I had lost power off and…read moreon for a few weeks to 25% of the house, hesitating to call an electrician in fear of a big ticket price tag of having to replace the circuit breaker panel. I had called other electrician companies and all their emergency service appointments were all booked up. Calling Vaccarella Electric Services should have been my first call. Roberto picked up and wanted to solve the issue immediately over the phone. My initial diagnosis was completely off and in less than 3 minutes Roberto was able to determine the issue based on what I told him and answering his questions of what I saw. He told me to head outside and look at the piping connected to the meter. When I did, the meter was throwing up, "888888." That confirmed to me Roberto's diagnosis. It turned out to be a PSEG matter which saved me from having to get charged a service call. Roberto didn't have to pass up a chance at a service call, but in doing so has earned my trust and future business. My family and I thank you Roberto!

Gazmir arrived promptly and immediately identified the root causes: a melted switch, an overcrowded metal box that was too small for the heavy wiring, and a completely ungrounded setup. He expanded the box to give the wires the proper breathing room, safely grounded the unit, and installed a brand-new heavy-duty switch. They installed a chandelier and replaced 2 light fixtures for me in a UES concrete ceiling apartment. The pros: -Super professional installation people. Had an onsite estimate given, and they clearly knew their stuff. Advised me quickly on possibilities and what wasn't possible. -Installation occurred right on time. -Installers covered all flooring and wore covers on their shoes to protect all surfaces. Also carefully moved furniture from the install area. -Installers worked very hard to measure and drill properly so that I did not need to repaint the entire ceiling. They were successful! -Shockingly low dust from the install. The cons: -when I have a bug to get something done immediately, I want it, well, immediately. I had to wait a week to get the install set, but that is really quite reasonable.
