Won't visit again. I've been here over 10 times. Today, the sever stole money from me. When I asked about the money, she said to ask the other person at my table because she must have gave the money to her, but she didn't because we counted all the money. Not sure it was intentional because she was constantly running around making mistakes. A potentials simple miscounting turned into theft when refused to give me my money. Who doesn't love a great crunchy taco? Well...I didn't get one here. Lol. This place was within walking distance from my hotel and nothing else was close on a Sunday in downtown Little Rock. I ordered a combo plate to go that came with a taco, enchilada and rice n beans. Taco was wrapped separately but the shell was soggy. Ugh. The enchilada tortilla was rubbery and the Shredded chicken inside was dry. Rice and beans had good flavor. Also came with a healthy serving of chips and salsa. When our small party arrived here on a nice evening we inquired with the host about sitting on the balcony. The answer was a flat "no". Not no, there's a wait time or no, it's closed - just no. We settled for a booth where our margaritas were brought to us in plastic to-go type cups. The food was ok, but they originally got one member of our party's order incorrect and seemed to suggest they should just eat what was brought out despite them being vegetarian and it being a meat dish. Their replacement meal was brought out in a to-go container which was strange when everyone else got china plates. The AC vent on the ceiling dripped condensation on the table throughout the meal. At least one person's stomach was unsettled the next day. There are too many good restaurants in this area to go here where nothing was a wow. read more

The inside looked like its would be good. I ordered the shrimp tacos and the description said it came with rice. 3/4 of the plate was rice. The tacos were disappointing- 4 little shrimp in each tortilla and a container of sauce. Taco Bell has more stuff in a taco. I won't be back and have told my office to go elsewhere read more

Great, authentic Mexican spot. Good atmosphere & bang for your buck. Medium sized margs were on the generous side (one was good for a little Sunday afternoon buzz). Fresh guac was solid, salsa was decent, chips seem to be freshly fried. Tacos were a 4/5 (heavy on the pineapple, but still tasty). Service was quick, and waitress was fantastic. The tortillas were home made and everything had amazing flavor. Juicy steak and lots of veggies. The pico tasted fresh not overwhelmed by old onion taste as many tend to. The best was my side of fresh avocado was not three tiny slices of avocado or over ripe. Extra points for the avocado love. I enjoy authentic Mexican food. That is what I typically order weekly. After watching a movie at a different theater, my friend and I usually eat dinner here. He orders what he chooses. I order either steak fajitas or steak enchiladas. My food is good. Sometimes, the waiter forgets to bring my friend's drink refill. Requiring that to happen should not be necessary. The drinks & food are good. My downfall was that there's a 3% charge to use debit/credit cards here, but it's only on a very small sign when you walk in. They also tried to sneak a small charge in on my friend. They removed it after she mentioned it. I wonder how many people DON'T pay attention to their receipts though??? We threatened to take the difference out of the tip and the manager said "Go ahead, I do not care if you tip or not." I've ordered several different entrees and all are worthy! Fajita Quesadilla is impeccable, it will take an act of God before my husband orders something different than this dilla! The ingredients in the Manuel Burrito put on a beautiful ballet of flavor in your mouth! Shrimp Chimichanga is my most recent selection and I was not disappointed, it is a must try! The portions are a little smaller than what your average mexican restaurant serves but I don't have a problem trading size for flavor. Service is always great too! The service is incredible and the food is worth trying! The carne asada tops the list and I love the margaritas. If you want to try some really good tequila that is hard to come by, ask your bartender :) If you are one of the lucky ones and if there is still some left, also worth a try. I hate to do this as I have enjoyed coming here in the past but since COVID I am being more cautious and I feel they are not. My husband and I attempted to eat here last week but the outdoor patio was so packed with people, who were smoking non the less. I felt extremely uncomfortable. I even had to ask to make sure they would not be seating someone at a table less than 3 feet away from our table. The server assured me they would not but every other table had been filled like normal pre -COVID times so I couldn't be sure. The server we had was very nice however and I wish I had gotten her name. Also the menus had crusted food on them so I know they hadn't been wiped down. Disgusting under any situation even more during a pandemic. Sorry Cantina, you won't be seeing us again unless you make some serious changes. read more

I ordered from this restaurant on 3/1. My order was completely wrong. First- I ordered 3 orders of Mexican tacos. I asked for absolutely NO CILANTRO and onions on the side. Flour and corn tortillas. A extra order of flour tortillas and a order of Guacamole dip. My food was delivered through Bite Squad. When my order arrived just I received was- Cilantro and onions ALL over my food. No flour tortillas at all and no Guacamole dip. I called the restaurant and asked to speak with a manager and was told no. After explaining to the VERY RUDE person that answered the phone that my order was completely wrong he hung up on me. I gave him the benefit of the doubt and called back thinking "there's no way I just ordered $72.00 in food and he just hung up on me." The same man answered the phone again just to tell me that he's "too busy it doesn't matter about what ever happened with cilantro" AND HUNG UP ON ME AGAIN! WOW. Worst food and customer service EVER. I was very dissapointed, I asumed food was going to be great but it was not and very expensive. My husband and I shared a plate (molcajete) he had a coke, I had a cantarrito and horchata and it was over $50. On top of that we couldnt find the steak or chicken on our molcajete....the pieces we're so small and/or there was not much but onions peppers and tomatoes. My drink was not good I didnt even drink it only took 1 sip, waiter didnt care to ask if drink was good or anything. We still left our appropiate tip. We drove from Hot Springs specially to eat there and will definitely not go there again and will not recommend to my friends. read more
