We then kicked things off with the arancini, which set the tone right away--crispy, flavorful, and perfectly done. For mains, we shared a spread and honestly couldn't pick a favorite: the Octopus Tacos were tender and packed with flavor, the Rabbit Tacos were unique and delicious, and the roasted seasonal vegetables "al mojo de ajo" were simple but so satisfying. The marinated pan-fried salmon and fresh trout were both beautifully cooked and thoughtfully seasoned. Every dish felt intentional, beautifully presented and well executed. But the real showstoppers were the desserts. The fresh goat cheesecake with orange, grapefruit, and lemon was bright and perfectly balanced, and the whisky chocolate crème brûlée was rich, smooth, and unforgettable. Desserts truly knocked it out of the park. Bonus points for the cocktails--my hubby was a huge fan. Great food, great drinks, excellent service and relaxed ambiance made for a wonderful overall experience. Highly recommend adding Temporal to your Mexico City dining list.

That said, I really appreciated how clearly those items were labeled--it set expectations upfront and made ordering easier given our schedule. The space itself is beautiful with an open, airy ambience that immediately sets the tone. We were started off with complimentary crispy tortillas served with both red and green salsas--a simple but very welcome touch. For food, my kids ordered the lime soup and the penne al chipotle, both of which they really enjoyed. My husband and I went for the tortas: he chose the Bacalao a la Veracruzana and I had the Cangrejo de Concha Suave. Both were delicious, with a unique twist on the classic flavors. My husband also had a cocktail that he loved. Overall, a solid experience with great food and atmosphere. This is definitely a place I'd return to when I can slow down and savor it properly.

The first time we came in shortly before closing but they were more than accommodating and sat us down right away. This is a fine dining experience and it is really cool to be able to watch the kitchen and chef at work from your table. I can highly recommend the Guac- love the little touch of pomegranate and the variety of chips to dip, the chicken lime soup was a hit with our 1.5 year old, the beet salad was delicious and the sea bass cooked to perfection. For mothers day I treated myself to a house margarita and it was delish. We also tried not one but two desserts this time, the chocolate cake with ice cream and the soursop jelly, both divine! I was excited having just learned about the soursop fruit, and how many nutritional benefits there are- make sure you give it a try if you're into pudding desserts. The next time we tried some of the same things and some new things- steak, roasted chicken, cauliflower with mole sauce (the mole sauce here was perfection) mushroom soup and the house lemonade. All fantastic, and the presentation is wonderful. We ended the evening with the hot chocolate cake which was the perfect balance of chocolate paired with ice cream- note that this dessert does take some time to prepare fresh. Planning to come back here if I am ever in the area again!

We tried a few juices, the chicken tomato salad and the salmon tacos. The salad was huge with a big portion of chicken, avocado and many toppings for a reasonable price. The tacos were smaller but flavorful. Taking off a star because my salad arrived almost 15 minutes before my boyfriend's tacos arrived and the restaurant was pretty empty. The lights were out in the bathroom and in part of the restaurant, so not sure if they were dealing with a partial power outage and impact to the kitchen. Still recommend for the food!

What really says it all? We loved it so much, we went back the very next day. This was the only restaurant we repeated during our week-long stay, which should tell you everything. The menu is extensive and thoughtfully curated--fresh, flavorful, and something for everyone. We tried the croissant sandwich, salmon deli nut sandwich, chutney mango deli sandwich, santos ahogados, fig chipotle deli sandwich, pear honey deli sandwich, and the spicy tuna deli sandwich. The sandwiches came with a standard simple salad. Every single item was delicious, well-balanced, and satisfying in that "clean but filling" way. The tables had two delicious spicy chili oil like condiments which elevated each of these dishes. And the juices--WOW. So refreshing, vibrant, and clearly made with high-quality ingredients. The perfect complement to the food and ideal for starting (or resetting) your day. If you're visiting Mexico City, Ojo de Agua is an absolute must. With such a wide menu, you're guaranteed to find something you'll love--and very likely come back for more. Highly recommend!

Among the taco spots that seem popular among tourists, this is my favorite. I love their al pastor tacos and the potatoes that come with any order. The tacos with cheese are extra tasty but not sure it's worth the extra cost. Service is quick and they bring your food to you after ordering at the counter. Inside is usually busy from my experience, with casual ambiance, chairs, and tables. Overall definitely recommend if visiting Mexico City!

When I looked at the menu, I was a bit confused until I read the small print. For example, taco de trompo. Theyre al pastor tacos. I was thinking maybe these are going to be some exotic or different type of tacos because of their names, but I guess they were being creative lol. As you order, they give you a number, the waiters help you get a place to sit. You canoot sit anywhere even if you are waiting to order. We tried that, and they asked us politely to move. After we ordered, the line got long. I heard the waiter tell the person who waited in line that it would be approximately 30 mins until they'd order, they stayed in line anyway. So i'm like hmmmmm, must be that good. I personally thought it was an average taco. I didnt really taste much different then other tacos. They were good. We got another round of the chicharron taco. You really cannot go wrong with any taco stand. The restaurant itself was a little busy but quick service. Not too loud, enough to converse. I would recommend to try it out & give your own opinion.

I was perusing Yelp trying to find a good Tres Leches, through my research I landed on this spot. This is a large restaurant, plus it was after 10pm when we arrived (they close really late), so we were sat and greeted pretty immediately. We ordered a chicken taco, steak taco, al pastor and a couple more, all the tacos we got were quite good and flavorful. The style of tacos was different than what we're used to as it was literally flat pieces of piled up meat on a tortilla with nothing else. The Tres Leches was just okay to me, there was something in it I didn't like, but my brother enjoyed it. Service was great! Very attentive, fast and friendly. Here's the issue...I got food poisoning as a result of something I ate here. With that said, I could not give this spot more than three stars, however like I said the food and service were two thumbs up, but getting sick was equally two thumbs down.
