We took my cousins when they were in town--my cousin lived in Mexico for over a decade (and has also been a chef for many years) and his wife is from Mexico, and they both endorsed the food as well! The food is just bland. I got the chicken enchiladas and it's basically chicken rolled up in a flour tortilla with a small amount of sauce on the outside, no cheese and no flavor. The sangria margarita was pretty good and the atm near the river is nice. read more

Freaking YUM! Let's start off with atmosphere..... one word, perfection. Choose to either sit inside in the cool or outside next to the river with a wonderful breeze. We chose to sit outside and enjoyed the foundations , watching the boats go by and the zip liners go up and down across the river. The chips are homemade and delicious! The hot sauce is probably one of the best I have ever had! The kids ordered chicken strips and fries. It came with a hardy portion of queso too! Salas at the beginning delicious, the highlight of the whole meal. Enchiladas tasted unbaked and were cold. Guac made at the table needed salt. Then another meal in are party was so salty it was inedible. Women's bathroom filthy and toilets leaking. They did take two meals off the bill but will not be back. read more

Great Mexican spot on the water in Branson Landing. I met some colleagues here for dinner a couple of nights ago. The patio is a nice spot overlooking the water and the cove in Branson Landing. Service was excellent. I had the chicken fajita burrito and it was awesome. This place is delicious! The salsa is so worth the visit. We've been in Branson a week and went twice. The kids also enjoyed an apple pie and scarfed it down! We had fajitas, nachos, a burrito and for appetizers we had top shelf guacamole and queso. No complaints were had by anyone in our party. We went here about 6:45 on a Friday where the wait was long! We chose to sit at the bar and had wonderful service! Sometimes, when we choose to sit at the bar the bartenders aren't thrilled bc we don't drink. We don't live in MO so we were surprised families with SMALL KIDS crowded up to the bar. Kids aren't allowed to even walk THROUGH the bar area where we're from so seeing the party beside us, 6 adults sharing 4 barstools with 3 children a surprise. Glad we were almost finished when they crammed in bc in just a few minutes it was quite a scene! This is why I'm goving 4 stars not 5. Not bc MO slows children in bars, literally tippy cups beside well drinks... but seriously. The hostess or someone should've said. It's 7:45 pm on a Saturday. You need to wait for a table for 6-8 and not crowd out all the ADULTS around you! Finished the vent because the bartenders were amazing! Such terrific service. I had the ahi tuna taco appetizer and it was so perfect! We also had the queso/quac combo and it was just ok. Recommend one or the other instead bc the table side quac is much better. We also had the flautitas appetizer and I hear they were absolutely perfect. No idea about these items on the reg menu but we were there before 7 so still happy hour! Wonderful! Totally recommend this restaurant if your having a taste for Mexican food in the Branson area. Not only is the food great you can also have an amazing view of you sit outside. The chips and salsa are so tasty. This place is vegetarian friendly which is nice. I got the spinach, mushroom and cheese enchiladas which is I totally recommend. The chips and salsa were fantastic. Our server was wonderful. I tried the ahi tuna tacos. It's an appetizer. The menu didn't mention cilantro on the meal. The waitress said it didn't have cilantro, however it was full of it. She did take it back but they only scraped it off the top. I can't stand cilantro. That was the only downside of this restaurant. We were in Branson for national dance competition and stayed at the Branson Landing Hilton. Tried to eat at restaurants we don't have in OKC. We were seated quickly and greeted by our server almost immediately. Service was wonderful. Food arrived hot and delicious. Came here on a recommendation. We had a tuna taco appetizer which was excellent. My wife had the grilled chicken quesadilla burrito which was huge and very tasty. I had 3 different tacos for the Taco Tuesday special $2 each. I chose the Mahi Mahi taco, Chicken with papaya and avocado for the second, and the grilled steak for the third. Added a side of rice and beans and was set. All of the tacos were great. Place was not crowded and had a view of the water. We are locals and go here all the time. This time not to happy. We ordered the chicken fajita and chicken was very bland, no seasoning at all. But the soft shell flour tortillas were not good at all. Visited this evening. Service was great. Our orders were taken quickly and food came to the table in a reasonable amount of time. The salsa had a good flavor, but it was so thin it barely coated the chips. I ordered the traditional tacos. The meat was seasoned well. The beans and rice had no flavor. I had to dig the tacos out from under a huge pile of chopped lettuce, tomatoes, and cheese, which was a little sloppy. I would not recommend the traditional tacos. I got a taste of the grilled skirt stake. It was delicious. Ambiance-very loud. It was impossible to carry on a conversation without almost yelling. I've been here many years ago the menu has shrunk and had very little to choose from which we are finding is happening most places since covid. The salsa and queso dip were both exceptional snd the chips were light snd still warm. I always try to make it to Cantina Laredo on every Branson visit. The food is so good and the staff is exceptional! This visit I ordered the chicken nachos. They are not the traditional nachos I'm used to as they are served on tostada shells but I liked that they were different! Each portion was layered with beans, cheese, chicken, and cilantro, I added sour cream on the side and also topped a few with the queso we ordered as an appetizer. Couldn't recommend these more. The bowl of queso was huge. Its without a doubt the best queso I've ever had, I could've ate it all by myself! Prices here are very affordable! For our party of three with queso, entrees and sodas it was around $65. I can't wait to go back this fall and enjoy their patio! read more

Nothing wrong with the food at this establishment. It was wonderful. Our complaint with this restaurant was the gentleman who acted as the front of house "manager". My wife called two hours before our arrival to make a reservation for 12. We arrived at our reservation time to be told "we have no record of your reservation" (My wife actually spoke to the same manager who was in the process of telling us they had no record of it). No big deal, stuff happens. When I clarified with the "manager" that we had called earlier and had a reservation (just making sure he was looking at the right name) the manager held his hand up as in to tell me to be quiet. He explained that they would have a table in 30 mins and that we would need to "clear the lobby" until we were told the table was ready. Again, things happen. Mistakes are made. With that being said, I'm not a huge fan of a "manager" holding his hand up to my face to tell me to stop talking in regards to a mistake that the restaurant made. No effort was made to rectify the error, only rude service from the front of the house staff. Just to reiterate, the food was great. The server was great. The front of the house "manager" needs a crash course in customer service. read more
