    Beef Enchiladas

My family (from Texas) wanted good Mexican food, and Little Hacienda was perfect! We had beef enchiladas, chicken tacos, and the pechuga napolitana, and everything was delicious! The chips and salsa were great. The frozen margaritas were delicious and strong. We didn't have to wait at all, and the service was wonderful. I highly recommend Little Hacienda!

Great experience. The enchiladas were amazing with beans and rice. Drinks were really good and the service was excellent. Upscale vibe and a very nice atmosphere.

This was a nice gem to find! After a long drive we just wanted something close by so we can get back to relax and this was suggested by our resort. Plenty of parking and a very nice outdoor patio area. You walk in and this place is not only gorgeous but clean. We had about a 30 minute wait to be seated but not too bad. The weather was nice, in the lobby area there's merchandise and funny shirts to browse. As soon as we sat down our waiter was about business. He was friendly, attentive, prompt and helpful. We started with drinks because, why not, we are on vacation. I had the mixed berry margarita and that was the best margarita I've had in my life! Seriously. So good and fresh. My husband had the top shelf margarita. And to think about it, everything tasted fresh. The fajitas were enjoyed by my husband and I had the chimichanga. The only thing that could have been better if it was fried more but still delicious. We ate well and enjoyed our experience here. If I was the type to eat the same thing over and over I would go back tomorrow! Please try them if you're ever in the area.

Nothing really wrong with the place, it's a very nice restaurant with good (weird) decor and the wait staff were good at what they do. I wouldn't visit again due to the food. The Chicken enchiladas with verde sauce. And it was a very creamy sauce like something else had been added (avocado maybe) The rice was the best part. It's was very good. The refried beans were very tasty but there were no beans in it. They had been blended down to a thick soup Weird They also charge a 3% fee for using a credit card. I don't hardly carry cash anymore so I got the fee Problem is, that's their charge. The cost of doing business. Bad business practices Overall it wasn't bad but for the price it wasn't good either

Pork Tamales with chilli con carne sauce. I rate it a 10+. Beans (excellent). Rice was really good.

We love this restaurant. We've eaten here several times. The food is always fresh, hot, and always fast. The Tamales are great and the fajita burrito was excellent. The prices are fair. One negative issue we had was, we ordered flour tortillas with butter. Out comes our request and the tortillas were barely warm and it came with melted butter. Maybe I'm behind the times but I can't under why melted butter was a good idea. And the kicker was they were $6 an order. The butter went everywhere. I pushed those to the side. Everything else was pretty good.

The food is out of this world fresh and delicious! We sat at the bar and Brandon was very helpful and so nice.

    Steak and shrimp combo fajitas

The chips and salsa were great. The service was good. We sat down quickly and were served quickly. However, we did have to ask for drink refills. It was moderately busy and there was one server serving our entire room. The ambience is Spanish Hacienda lots of rooms that are well lit and spacious. I had the shrimp and steak fajita combo which needed some salt but other than that it was cooked well and tasted great.a

The outdoor patio looked nice but was too cold at night

The main star of my meal was the spicy margarita, but the food was also amazing! We had table side guacamole that was excellent! My husband raved about his tacos for hours after we left, so those must have been really good... and my carne asada was tender and perfectly cooked! Kids also liked their meals, so it was an all around win for our family of 5!

After being impressed with the decor and cleanliness we started with perfectly balanced cocktails. Our exemplary server, Gregorio, gave wonderful recommendations that were served up piping hot and plentiful. The chips, salsa, and guacamole were the best we have had and we are from California where Hispanic food dominates the restaurant cuisines. All in all, a good time was had by all!!!

I was skeptical about a Mexican restaurant on the outskirts of Branson, Missouri, but we were pleased to find this hidden gem. If this restaurant was in San Antonio it would be on my short list of top choices, at least based on the one experience. We all agreed it exceded expectations and if we're ever back in Branson, we'll return. The parking lot was empty when we arrived, not a good sign, but it was 2:00pm on a weekday, in the off season (early May with temps in the upper 50's) so we decided to chance it. We walked in and were the only customers there. Everything only got better from there We received a healthy servings of chips with a small carafe of salsa, so no need to ask for refills. We ordered an appetizer of guacamole. It was on point. We repeatedly remarked how fresh and tasty everything was. My wife had a mango margarita. It came with plenty of mango flavor, including some fresh mango chunks. I had the ground beef chili relleno with a side order of cactus (nopales). I've had many disappointing chili rellenos, but this one was perfect. The ground beef was well seasoned and not to dry or too sloppy like you sometimes get. Is was very lightly breaded, so if you really like a lot of batter, that might be a negative for you. It was served "open-faced ", sliced open so the ground beef, topped with plenty of cheese, was on top of, not really stuffed inside the poblano chili, but it was awesome. The cactus strips had been stewed with onion, tomato and jalapeños, so it was almost like a spicy warm salsa, or if you've ever had spicy green beans cooked with tomato and jalapeño, it was kinda like that - really good. My wife had enchiladas with a side of fried ripe plantains (maduros) and our grown son had tacos. Again, everything was great. The server was attentive and food service was quick (to be fair, we were the only customers). This is a small place They have a patio but it was chilly so we sat inside. There were only 5-6 booths and 4-5 tables but the decor was nice. They played mostly mexican pop music ( incl. Selena - Bailey Este Cumbia) with some American pop - a nice mix. I almost never post to Yelp. I had to recover my password to post this, cuz its been years, but I didn't want to let this pass without giving these folks credit.

Our experience was not at all good and I cannot recommend the place at all. When the server brought our margaritas, flaming with sugar cubes on fire on top of a dried orange; a fly committed suicide on my sugar curbs. The server got me a plate on which to put the orange with dead fly--noting else. The food was cold and my wife's tacos fell apart before she touched them. We order guacamole which came after our lunch and only because we requested it from the delivery person, who did a good job. The server disappeared and I had to go looking for someone to help us pay the bill. As terrible as this experience was, the manager on duty watched the whole event and did nothing, said nothing, and looked sad--not a good customer service perspective. The marketing gentleman who had nothing in the game was the only person who cared; the both of them were good. The restaurant was not!

I have also eaten at their Branson location before, and this one definitely has a different vibe. The Hollister location feels calmer and more relaxed. The restaurant is very clean, and I really like the open kitchen concept where you can see the cooks working. The staff is friendly, helpful, and welcoming, which always makes a difference. My only personal complaint is that I wish the food had a little more flavor and spice. Their hot sauce is not very hot compared to what I usually expect from a Mexican restaurant, and I personally like Mexican food with more heat and bolder flavor. That being said, I think a lot of restaurants in the Branson/Hollister area tone things down for tourists, so that may just be the local style. The prices are a little high, but that seems pretty normal for the area. Parking can also be a little tricky depending on when you go, since it is on a narrow street with street parking. Overall, it is a clean, friendly, and nice little restaurant. I like the concept and the atmosphere. I just personally wish the food was a little spicier and had more authentic Mexican flavor.
