Be very careful before signing anything at this car wash. I was approached with what was presented as a "free 30-day car wash" promotion. The employee asked me to sign paperwork, but it was never clearly explained that I was being enrolled into a recurring $75/month membership. I only discovered the charge after reviewing my credit card statement. When I contacted them to request a cancellation and refund, they refused and simply pointed to the contract I signed -- despite the fact that the recurring charges were not properly explained during the interaction. What makes this even more frustrating is that I did not use the car wash at all during the last 30 days. This experience felt misleading and unethical. Customers should be given clear and transparent information before being signed up for expensive recurring memberships. read more

I visited Canton Car Wash in Columbia on Saturday morning to have my vehicle washed. During the wash process, the wrap-around brushes dislodged both the upper and lower covers of the driver-side mirror. An employee retrieved the detached components and returned them to me. Upon further inspection, I observed damage to the mirror's mounting sockets. Although I was able to reinstall the covers at the time, it became apparent that the mirror assembly had sustained damage as a result of the incident. While driving home, I noticed a persistent whistling noise coming from the mirror, a condition that had not existed prior to the car wash. I returned to the location and spoke with the manager regarding the issue. Initially, the manager questioned whether the damage had occurred during the wash and suggested that it may have been pre-existing. Subsequently, the manager advised that surveillance footage was available for review and completed an incident report. I was also informed that I would be contacted by the following day; however, I have not received any communication. I returned to the car wash on Monday to follow up on the matter. The manager stated that the issue would be addressed, but I remained uncertain as to whether the incident had been formally reported or whether any further action would be taken. I also contacted the company by email and received a response indicating that my message had been forwarded to management. At this point, I have little confidence that the matter will be resolved and expect that I will be responsible for the cost of repairing or replacing the mirror. It is disappointing that such a relatively minor claim has not been addressed in a timely and professional manner. As a result, I have cancelled my membership, and I do not anticipate using Canton Car Wash services in the future. I am sharing this experience so that others are aware that if damage occurs to their vehicle during a wash at Canton Car Wash, they may encounter a similar lack of follow-up and resolution. read more

Hey friends! Long overdue review. I've visited about five times now. This location is pretty consistent with results. Canton Car Wash is an automatic car wash that offers a full service-cleaning after the wash. You also have the option for an exterior only option and you can use self-service rags, sprays and vacuums. The platinum car wash and full service wash costs $42. The quality is decent, exterior is shiny and all crumbs/dirt are removed from the interior. Tip: just get the gold exterior wash, there's no real difference in the exterior, save a few dollars. The service is pretty quick I usually wait around 15 minutes. -Customer service was amazing from Jordan, the cashier & and the first employee who took my service type selection. Other employees weren't friendly. The employee who brought my car outside from the bay just left my door open and I didn't receive a have a good day or anything. -There's a lobby with Wi-fi, restrooms and a cafe. -Price is average $42 for full-service. I've been here a few times and have always really appreciated the car wash, self service vacuum and inside cleaning, or the full service inside cleaning. Be aware, they do stop offering the full service inside clean well before their closing hours for the day. This time I came in for a full inside and outside detail with use of their loaner car. I made a reservation and showed up on time. It took over an hour to check my vehicle in and get the loaner. Then the loaner was on LITERAL EMPTY. Fair warning, if you are trying to drop off your car for a detail and make it to work on time: don't. When I provided feedback on the loaner car upon my return I was met with a shrug and informed that they don't really monitor the loaner since it's a complimentary service with the detail. The detail was good, but not great. They got my wheels and mats clean, but there were still marks on my paint and some crumbs in crevices. To be clear, I did not rush them. I gave them all day to finish the job with no set time I needed to pick up. They called me when they said they were done. I'll come back for the car wash, but I'll find somewhere else for my next detail. It just wasn't worth the $300+ price tag. And I'll probably find them on Yelp! read more

Canton car wash is my go to for a car wash. I go to the Columbia location. They are open year all year, only closing in extreme weather conditions. I signed up for the unlimited membership with interior cleaning included. The exterior wash is one of those drive through carwash stations on a conveyor belt. Someone dries your car off when you come off the conveyor.And then for the interior, they use a steamer and vacuum to clean the surface. Tire rims are cleaned. Floor mats are also removed and cleaned. They even clean your trunk. If you don't get the interior cleaning, they have bays where you can clean your car yourself. They offer all of the same supplies as the workers such as rags, a steamer, a vacuum, and fragrance. The self service area fill up quickly but they recently added additional bays. Overall if you plan to get your car cleaned at least 2x a month, I would recommend getting the uhh nlimited membership as it will pay for itself. Without the membership, the exterior wash is $22 and the full service interior is $20. The unlimited with interior add on rate is currently $70 a month. Take in consideration they do get busy on Saturdays and Sundays. And it could take a while to get through the line. There is an indoor and outdoor waiting area. The have a small cafe where you can purchase coffee. The also have water and soft drinks for sale. The bathrooms are always clean. They have a lock box for cash tips. 3.21.25 I stopped by today to have my rubber car mats washed and it was grimy from the snow storms this winter. They are $5 per mat. I was told by the associate at the desk that they just power wash, but I asked if they could scrub it down with soap and I was told she would ask the staff to. After I paid and brought the mats in, I waited in the waiting area. The staff member who rung me up, actually scrub my mats down too. I wasn't expecting her to, but she said that her colleagues were busy so she decided to help. I ended up giving her a $20 tip for going above and beyond. The car wash was bustling today. Most of the bays were busy and the cars kept flowing in. I'm glad that the staff member chipped in because otherwise I would've had a long wait to just have my mats washed. This was my first time being inside the waiting area. They have a nice café, TVs, and an arcade game. A friend of my husband's raves about their coffee. I loved having a membership here. I got a discount off for having an electric car which was very nice. Getting the car wash was an easy experience I loved that they have the option there to get your interior cleaned as well. But you can easily clean your interior yourself as well. Now i have been charged $75 a month saying i signed up for membership. They will not credit back the fees since i signed a form. Which was under false pretenses. And the $46 was wash only marginal. I have been here twice to get my car washed during my lunch break! I usually get the platinum with the full interior service which is usually about $44. They do a pretty good job and they're fairly fast. Lots of workers and everyone is pretty nice and helpful. You start by pulling up to the service agent. You tell them what you want, get 2 receipts! One to pay with and one to place in your car or give to the wash attendant. Then go through the car wash then pull in to the full service area where multiple people work on cleaning your car! They'll drive it out to the front once finished! They have a super cute coffee shop inside while you wait and nice waiting area with wireless chargers for your phone that actually work! I have not tried the coffee shop, so not sure about the taste. But fairly nice facility! For the value, i think it's pretty worth it! They do a fairly good job! I wish they would get the nooks and cranny's like the cup holder etc. but they do vacuum the mats which i like and my car looks sparkling! read more

I had a gift card to redeem here for an express detailing so came in during the week. It wasn't very crowded so I didn't have to wait long. First I ran my vehicle through the automated wash then pulled it up to the drying bay. Then I went in to render payment at the counter. To my surprise I found that someone had used half the value off my gift card so I had to pay the balance. This was a little annoying. The lady behind the counter was nice and researched it for me. She was able to see that that card was used on 03/15 by someone else. Crazy because the card itself was in my house since I got it. I won't give them the blame on that but they said there wasn't much they were able to do about it. Even spoke to the manager who said not much that he could do. I would think a free wash in the future wouldn't kill them. After the vehicle came out they took it over to the detailing bay. The process took roughly an hour. They thoroughly cleaned the interior of my vehicle. Smelled fresh and looked great when I left. Exterior was still just a basic wash and dry. Seems like they are always pretty busy. Saw lots of vehicles coming in for the basic wash while I was there. I have seen it get very crowded on nice weather days. After this experience I probably won't be back. read more

When I asked him why he had an attitude and made a comment to the cashier that she would only get a handful of complainers.Great customer service . I think it's amazing that they offer discounts for electric and hybrid vehicles, and you can't beat the $20 full interior service. I love how fresh and clean both the inside and outside of my car is after the wash, without the back breaking labor that I used to do to keep my car clean before. I was worried about paint swirls but to be honest, I haven't noticed a problem on my white car, and having a sparkling clean car definitely outweighs a filthy car with no paint swirls. Having the monthly plan was worth it as I typically wash my car 3-4 times a month. When the car wash damaged the trim on my car their default answer was to say that they needed to look at their cameras to see what happened. When they came back and said your car had existing damage I asked them to show me the camera with said damage...crickets. The trim could not have damaged previously my wheels stick out farther than the trim in a heads on view and there would have to had to have been a direct impact which would have to been visible on the trim. My car is professionally maintained and I don't drive around with a damaged car, nice try CANTON. Great way to lose a customer. read more

Today I decided to go early and while the wipe down could have been better, the inside clean was much better this time around. I have a membership for the unlimited premium package. I've had it for a year. I've noticed the car wash needs to be QC'd because not all sprayers work and sometimes it's just soap/water... the scrubber & buffers do nothing. For the interior, they just vacuum the floor & clean the mats. They don't wipe down my leather even when there's dried ketchup on the seat. The cup holder and door handle diver thingy never gets wiped down. Never. I don't know why. This time, I had a milkshake spill on my door... don't ask: I'm very curious of & how the clean it. I usually have to clean the interior after them which is problematic. Update. They didn't clean it. They also never used scent. None at all. Guess who is cancelling her membership. I tidally appreciate that he was not presumptuous yet he was professional promptly responding and made an immediate decision to MAKE IT RIGHT! I made it clear I need a good vacuuming everywhere, and wipe down the interior. I was charged $45. Completely fine with me given what I needed. What I got was bullshit. BOTH windows were never touched. The interior didn't even look like it got vacuumed. Maybe just wiped down with a rag instead. They were not looking at detail but only looked at the time it took to get the line of cars out. I really wanted to love this place. Please be very careful at this car wash location. An employee signed me up for a monthly membership without my knowledge. I had specifically asked and paid for the $23 platinum wash (and have the receipt still!) and asked if they still offered the hybrid (half price) discount. Upon which he told me no, but that now instead you can get unlimited washes for 30 days when you pay the full $23 platinum price. So I said ok, that's fine and specifically said ok, but I don't want the monthly membership is this the same? And he said, no! Well, a month later they attempted to charge my card, but luckily the charge was denied through Apple Pay, thank goodness. I called to let them know this happened and to cancel this membership that I didn't sign up for. They initially disputed this and said that my signature was on the receipt, but I definitely didn't sign anything. So she emailed it to me and It turned out that someone had forged the signature on the monthly sign up receipt, it was not my signature!! Why would someone do this? I'm hoping this was a one off employee who has since been fired. I gave a single star because the other employees and service has always been good in the past. I'm just not sure that I want to return now and can no longer recommend. read more

LOST MY KEYCARD Value: great if you go twice a week. Quality: okay Service requested: monthly membership Bottom line up front: you will get mixed results. Sometimes the car will be clean, sometimes you'll drive off and hear debris under your seats or they'll put your floor mats back in incorrectly. It's kids cleaning cars. Don't expect car detailing. The monthly plan makes up for it if you go repeatedly for them to get it right. Pray you never have to deal with management. Today my keycard was lost (40 dollar value). This was no big deal, everyone makes mistakes. After giving them a few hours to recover it I recommended to cut our losses. They could've handed me 40 dollars or given me a free month, anything to fix the issue. The manager refused to do anything. Their policy is to leave the key in the vehicle, while the vehicle was in their possession the key was lost. Today they were willing to lose a customer rather than own up to their responsibility and make it right. Be Careful. read more
