In less than fifteen mins the marks were gone showing a very shallow dent about 3" in the rear cab of my truck. Erin got my truck in the next day for 9:00am. Winter will be here soon and it's been a while since my 2014 Kia Forte5 has been thoroughly cleaned. I wanted it done before the cold weather arrives as this car is rarely garaged. I got the following services: -Full exterior detail as well as a ceramic coating that should last 6mos-1year. This also included full engine bay detail. -Full interior detail. -Undercarraige coating applied. My car also has/had a dent on the passenger rear quarter panel area. The owner explained they would try to get it out but to expect only about 80% improvement due to the location of the dent. I understood and agreed. My goal is basically to keep this car looking good and kept in as good condition as possible so it lasts many more years to come. It turns out as they tried to remove the dent, there was a mishap and about a quarter-size area of paint completely came off. The technician called me to explain and texted a photo as well. I understand the risks of dent repair (paint coming off is one of them) and we talked about how to fix that area. Basically, touch-up paint was the answer just so the body is protected from rusting. The dent itself actually is improved and the touch-up paint isn't the perfect match, but it's fine! This is my daily driver. The technician obvously didn't mean for this to happen. They did not charge me for the dent repair. I considered having the dent completely fixed at a body shop, but have since decided it's simply not worth the money. The dent isn't horrible, and the location of it makes this more work than it's worth. Anyway, back to the detail! I picked up the car at the end of the day and the technician brought it out front to show me. It looked great! I do keep my car in overall good repair and clean, but this was that nice extra work to really make it shine again. I was pleasantly surprised by the engine bay. I have no leaks so it wasn't a disaster, but after the detail it looked almost showroom floor new again! The interior was super clean. I used to have a dog with hair that acted like quills stubbornly attaching itself to interior fabric and after my many cleans, it was *still* in some areas. They got it out. All the hard surfaces were clean with that semi-gloss sheen. It smelled great. Even under the seats were clean! The technician also explained to me that I might smell the undercarriage coating while driving the first few days. I thought this was great communication just to make sure customers know what to expect. Since I got the car back, it's rained and the water beads up and runs off really nice. I love it, and it was worth the cost. I really appreciated their effort, communication, honesty, and attention to detail with my little Kia. I felt they paid as much attention to it as they would a more expensive / exotic car. Just got my Tesla back from this detailer. Dave was great. He was very professional. He has had great reviews here on Yelp. And you can see he has been very attentive to all the reviews including the bad ones where the shop might be able to do better. I had Dave do a gold level ceramic pro coatings which included fixing the paint from swirls, scratches, and minor paint chips. The ceramic coating is helpful in that it helps to repel water and dirt and is scratch resistant, I also wanted an xpel clear bra coating as the Ceramic pro does not protect against rock chips. He actually had another guy whom he contracts with perform the wrap. It looks good, but I kinda wish I found someone who cut the wraps themselves rather than using pre-cut wraps. That being said the car looks great. Dave explained how to care for the car if I were to clean it myself using both a two/three bucket method and even with a powerwasher. He also explained how the warranty for the different services worked, I definitely would recommend him if you want your car to look pristine. read more

**Update - Owner reached out to me to get cup-holder back. Never did receive it, but at least he attempted to make it right.** The auto detail they did was fine (I purchased the "premium detail"). My car was a mess, so they certainly had their work cut out for them. However, after picking up my car on Saturday and driving it around for the weekend, I realized that the technician who detailed my car had taken out the cup-holder and had forgotten to reinstall it (no-biggie). I then called the business on Monday afternoon to see when I could come by to pick it up. It was nowhere to be found, but they said they would get back to me. However, I never got a call back or a follow up on this, and my car is still missing its cupholder!! I miss having someplace to put my coffee in the mornings :( read more

Don't come here for tint removal. I was given a $140 cost for a Tesla job that is now $490. My issue is with Atomic's poor communication, execution, and attention to detail... not the cost. Richard removed all the tint as requested, but left sheets of glue on the roof and rear because he ran out of time after only 1hr20mins. He called to inform me that he was late to a birthday party and insisted it was a terrible tint job. He also recommended that I call around or come back another day to pay additional $200 for him to finish the job he started. Next time call your customer before you're done so I can make a decision... and build in a scheduling buffer so your techs aren't sprinting out the door when things happen. Water stains, blade nicks, and dirty finger marks = a rush job or he just didn't know what he was doing. I'm not bringing my car back after second thought and will send the owner my repair bill for interior issues. Sorry. read more

They made my clients car look brand new again. They got the smell of some food that spilled on the interior out and did an incredible job. Their receptionist is so kind and really funny. I enjoyed my entire experience here and they charge a fair price for a complete cleaning (rejuvenation package) of the interior of the car. They cleaned the mats, all the seats, and even the moon roof. It smells amazing! I'm really glad I brought her car here because it needed a lot of love. I can't wait to bring the my own car here. I have had my car detailed at this location this week and went for an exterior premium detail. The service should have included the engine detailed ,but it was left untouched. they still decided to charge the full price of 265.00 . When the car was returned to me , my BMW key fob was damaged as the emblem was missing . the Owner could care less and I was not compensated for it . When I tried to dispute it over the phone , one of their rude staff ( Morgan)would not stop talking over me and hung up on me . I am definitely not going back . If I were you I would just avoid the headache. Jessie did an amazing job on my 2019 Porsche Macan. I've been driving nice cars for many decades and I've always had a hard time finding a place to detail my cars that cared as much as I do about a quality detailing. This was the best detail job I've experienced. They use a paste wax on the exterior and the interior came back looking showroom new. My car was fairly clean on the inside, but there was dust and little specs of dirt around the guages. When my car was finished, no trace of any dust to be seen. I was looking for a local shop that was capable of tinting the front two windows of my vehicle and went with Atomic based off of their good reviews. I scheduled an appointment with them to have this done at 8am when they opened, but was asked to come in at a later time because their tint tech was backed up. Sort of confused at how he was backed up before opening, but sure, no problem, it happens. In regards to the tint job - it was done in a little over an hour and at first glance, it looked as though it was done phenomenally. As the tint cured and settled, it became apparent that the job seemed to have been done poorly and rushed. I have attached photos and you will find there are multiple bubbles due to contaminants, scratches in the film, and the entirety of the passenger side has a haze stuck between the film and the window that has not gone away for 2 weeks. I called about my complaints and was asked to bring the vehicle back. Scheduled an appointment for 3pm this time and was again asked to reschedule, but to come in earlier this time. I show up and the tint tech inspects my concerns and tells me he has never seen anything like it happened before (in regards to the hazing). As he "fixes" the bubbles, he asked me if I minded waiting another two weeks to see if the haze issue fixes itself and if not, he'll do redo the tints, but as I watched his lack of care or attempt to remediate the bubbles (they're still there by the way), I already decided I was going to go with another shop that is much more experienced and organized with scheduling. Would love to speak to a manager or owner and have this poor attempt of a tint job refunded. read more

Brought my car in blindly off a Google search, and I am so glad I did! I drove my car 500ish miles from Massachusetts to relocate to Maryland, and I packed my two cats with me. This meant a TON of cat hair literally EVERYWHERE. I believe the technician's name was Darius (it's been a long week ), and he did an AMAZING job getting every last bit of hair out of every tiny crevice it crept into!!! Website well formatted, user friendly with a lot of information. Anna the receptionist friendly, informative and helpful. I purchased the full detail for $230 (Honda CRV). There were several other places that offered the same services for much less but given the initial positives I figured it must be worth the price. Unfortunately, that wasn't my experience. Upon the initial inspection by Darron, the detail tech, he said the vehicle was "pretty straight forward" as there were no stains or excessive dirt. After 2.5 hours, the vehicle was done. The outside looked great! The inside did not. The were many OBVIOUS areas the were not cleaned. I pointed several out to Darron and he did wipe them clean. Needless to say I was very disappointed. I wish I put my money to the performance ,not the ceramic pro coat, at least where i got it done. Quoted like 1200, and he said need some more hours to work on paint correction, fine, extra another 300. After 3 weeks came back to get first wash like he recommended, car had swirl marks everywhere. He said because I used the micro fiber towels. Paid another 200 to get it fixed. He said wait 3 weeks and dont wash or clean the car, let the coat curve. Today , came back for the wash and swirl is everywhere again. I have no words . And he kept saying there was something wrong with my car, someone washed and buffed my car.... When I get home, I called him and he hung up on me. Called second time, he said that was all my fault, Even asked me to pay more I if want to fix it. Frustrated. So far the tint looks great. The customer service was awful and I have to get my other vehicle completed but because of the customer service issues and being treated like a thief I have to use another tint service. The A. Salon failed to give a written estimate upon my order. I had to actually beg the customer agent to come outside to let me review the vehicle. They held the keys and acted like we might drive off if they handed us our key and let us sit in the car. The Salon should document license information and get signed repair orders to prevent theft of services. It should be customary that the agent review the vehicle with customer. After paying several hundred they should treat customers with respect. read more

DISCLAIMER: This review is in regards to their window tinting service, and not even about their proficiency in tinting. Read on for more details... I stopped by Atomic Auto Salon in mid June to schedule an appointment to get the windows on my car tinted. The receptionist was nice enough, but seemed annoyed by my questions about each tint package. Whatever, no biggie. They couldn't get me in until early July because their tinter (I guess they only have one on staff?) had been injured and was out for a while. Totally understandable. I paid the $60 deposit and left. They call me a week later and leave a voicemail saying he'll be out longer than they thought. Not a big deal. I called back to reschedule my appointment and reached someone I hadn't talked to before. He couldn't find my appointment or any of my details. He rescheduled me anyway and assured me my deposit would still apply. A week or so later I can't remember the details of my appointment, so I call back to confirm. They can't find my appointment again, and reschedule it again. Today is 7/17 and my appointment was supposed to be tomorrow, 7/18. According to their previous voicemail, 7/18 is the first day the tinter would be back. They call me today, less than 24 hours before my appointment, to ask me to reschedule again because now they're out of tint. At this point I'm just tired of rescheduling and playing phone tag with them. I should have found out before 24 hours before my appointment that they were out of tint, as I had already made alternate arrangements to get to work. I'll try my luck with another company that seems a little more organized next time. DISCLAIMER: This has nothing to do with their ability to apply tint to a vehicle. Everything I've seen of their work looks great. I understand that things like a tech getting hurt is out of their hands, but I personally don't appreciate last minute cancellations (the 3rd request to reschedule) especially about something about not having enough tint (which they should have known they were running out well before this afternoon.) If you choose to bring your car here I have no doubt that they'll do a great job, if they can eventually get you in. The owner reached out to me offered me compensation for my time, which is generous, but at this point I don't have a lot of free time and would just rather go elsewhere a little more organized. read more

It was pretty much like new compared to condition it was in when I brought it (I'll summarize it with long commutes and lots of trips with children) my only minor complaint- and to be fair, he was new- was that I wasn't told it would take longer and would cost more for that additional time, but the results spoke for themselves. My husband took our Lexus SC430 for a full detail (the best available), plus he paid for two additional hours for the car to have paint correction work completed. Because it was later in the afternoon, the car had to stay overnight. No one called us by the late morning, when we called, the receptionist stated that the car was ready. When my husband inspected the car, it was clear that they rushed through the work, having missed parts of what had been promised and listed on the list of items to be completed as part of the package. None of the inside doors were cleaned (at all), none of the trunk sills were cleaned. The rubber seals were supposed to have been treated throughout, it was not done at all. After my husband complained, they said they would take care of it. The manager cited that the car was "old" and that he would not even notice if it was done. Very unprofessional behavior. So instead of apologizing for not doing a good job and focusing on fixing the problem, he starts criticizing the car. It took another 20 minutes of waiting and after inspecting again, my husband was upset and just left. The areas where the doors open were uncleaned/untouched. The sills were barely cleaned in the hood and the engine detail sub par. Overall a very disappointing experience. We would never return to this place and would strongly recommend that you seek another place to take your vehicle to get detailed. 12/13/2019 I am updating my review based on interactions with the business owner/manager. I am calling the county police department because now I am fearful based on statements made by the business owner/manager through a BBB complaint that I filed. In my complaint, I have asked that they refund part of my money as a result of them not performing the work as advertised. I stated that they should consider that these complaints (and others I could write) would affect the business more than if they simply work things out with me. Instead, the manager said that I was extorting money from them and that I should be "very careful on my next actions". My husband is a senior federal official. We will contact the Federal Protective Service so that they are aware of the situation. I will also call the Howard County Police and ask to speak with an officer to file a complaint because I am fearful in the threats that are implied by the business owner. Instead of taking accountability for their incompetence, the business lashes out at customers. Please learn from our utterly horrible experience and consider alternatives when needing your car washed! read more

7/5 UPDATE: I've moved it rating to 2 Stars due to the fact that David reached out to me to discuss what happened in my situation. They've offered to touch up the inside of the car. As I said to him, I'm not looking to bash and probably wouldn't have cared as much if it was just one thing, but I think it was the combination of events that sparked my initial review. I do appreciate that I was able to have a conversation with him about it, and hopefully they can make some minor changes to their process in order to prevent some of this from happening to others. 7/3 I wanted to support a local business so i sought them out. I brought in my honda civic '17 hatchback to get them to look at, and reccomend a detailing package and tint job. My intention was to get everything done in one day. We decided to go with a 45 tint and the rejuvenation package. I scheduled an appointment for the following saturday and brought the car on the day of (Saturday 9am). I pulled up and the one of the tint techs came out to inform me that they couldnt do the tint job b.c of the factory spoiler across the back window (other places can by the way), but he just explained to me that they weren't equipped to do so and that one of the people who man the front desk should have told me during the intial consult. I decided that since I was already there I should just leave the car for the detailing job. I asked the woman at the front desk to ball park me on a pick up time and she said 3- 4pm. So I had to call them at 4:45pm (they closed @ 5pm) to check on the status of the car. I was told "you can come at 5 to get it". I showed up for 5pm, had to await an additional 15mins then go the car. The detailing job was decent to good). I saw some smudges on the dash and some dirt marks on the front door speaker grills. Everything else was done really well, but i'd expect not to see that with selecting a mid-tier detailing package. Anyhow I say all this to say that I'm probably not going back. Customer Service missed the mark on not telling me about the tint and the detailing job itself seemed like it got rushed before close. I was really nervous at first coming here, because I've never had my car tinted before, but it was a wonderful experience. I scheduled an appointment the previous week for a 8 AM tinting. Morgan (receptionist) was so awesome, she was the first person I saw coming into my appointment. She answered all of questions to the best of knowledge and also gave me some reassurance when it came to the tint I wanted. When I arrived at my appointment, I wanted to add a detail service and requested a time for my car to be finished and Morgan made it work. Johnathon, the one who tinted my car, did a fabulous job. He did it under a time constraint and even had enough time for Darius (who detailed my car), to do a wonderful job cleaning/washing my car inside and out. I went in for an interior Express detail. Really what I wanted was to get a really good vacuum. The woman there convinced me to upgrade to the full detail interior saying that it would offer more cleaning. But when I picked up my car I don't feel that there was more. I paid an extra fifty bucks for nothing. Some of the plastic areas inside my car still had dirt on them. You can tell that someone cleaned it a little but it really wasn't a "detail" worth paying another fifty bucks for. I wiped a few areas myself and there was still dirt. They did a great job with the vacuuming. But I should have stuck with what I went in for, the express interior detail only. They got me. read more

Got the '14 Mazda cleaned up for the first time in a while. Took me as a walk in, looked over the car, suggested some options, and then got right to work. Rejuvenation detail was worth it. Couple hours later the majority of scratches had been buffed out, swirl marks were gone, and the paint shined bright. Interior was like new. I'll recommend them to my friends. Sidenote another customer came in related to a previous detail from a few days prior and stated that there was a piece broken inside his vehicle. He noticed it days later. The manager came out and spoke with him, stated that the damage was not due to his employees but despite the fact that it wasn't their fault, the manager offered to pay for half of the damage and fix it themselves just to keep the customer happy. Went for a detail and really loved the attention to detail on the interior. I wish they had been able to get all the bug guts off my mirrors but they did warn me beforehand that bug tar is acidic and may have made an etching. I think I would recommend to others to purchase the higher package if this is a concern of yours. Overall very impressed. They took about 2.5 hours for my car and it looks and smells like new. Walked in another customer who has a 4 o'clock appt was in front of me...says she's been waiting for a while no one even acknowledges us.... Finally a prick comes in and says can I help you....and the other customer says I have a four o'clock appt and I got off early so I wanted to know if I could come by early. The prick says no actually I'm about to close up shop and go....really your door says open til 5 and she has an appt....so he says what about you? And I say well I guess no service for me if she has an appointment and you told her you're leaving....the prick says what do you want? you have to set an appt....I say is that advertised anywhere, required to set an appointment because I didn't see it....he looked at his computer and I walked out....will gladly not spend $150 on someone who offers that type of customer service....this must have been a really horrible day bc this can't be the same biz with these glowing reviews....NOT! Excellent experience here. I had to get my windows untinted and I was in a hurry. They were busy but allowed me to walk-in and get it done. It's been my experience that other businesses in the area don't want to be bothered and just ask you to come in at their convenience, not the customers' convenience. Love Atomic. I originally had a wash and express interior scheduled. With is raining I asked if we could cancel the exterior wash and do a full interior. Dave was very accommodating. I also asked last minute if he could do an undercarriage coating. I completely forgot to ask when I first scheduled my appointment. Knowing how important this is especially living in the salt belt during winter, I really wanted it done. He again was able to squeeze it in. The interior looks absolutely amazing. I know that the undercarriage will definitely stand up to the corrosive salt and slurry that's sprayed. They coat every crack and crevice. You may not think about it but the fluid film coating is really important living in Maryland during the winter read more
