There are a lot of driving schools in Las Vegas and after narrowing the field down, we chose Cantor's for our son's driving school. We went with their gold package as well as the pre-drive test refresher course. We were really happy with the knowledge of the instructors and the availability of lessons. We were able to schedule a couple of drive lessons with the same instructor, as well as with other instructors for how different people teach. The drive test refresher was also a welcome lesson. John H. was amazing! We had arranged he would pick up our son from the house and then we would meet them at the DMV for the scheduled drive test. We had a little paperwork issue which was my fault, but John was there and got me the right contact to be able to remedy the issue quickly and still be able to take the drive test. My instructor was Stephani and she is honestly amazing. I had gotten my permit at 16 and was so excited to drive but my anxiety was through the roof. Very pleased with the lessons, the driver's training and the instructors; however, three star rating for the fact that for the hefty cost, I was a bit put off that after all three lessons, my son was brought home early. The first two lessons he arrived home ten minutes early and the last lesson he came home twenty minutes before his two hour time frame was up. This amounted to a full 40 minutes that I feel he should have had the paid instruction. If he arrived back in our neighborhood ahead of time, these last minutes could have been used practicing residential, but instead, he was dropped off back at home with some quick notes from the instructor and that was it. read more

Their drivers are lovely and take the time and care to train you to drive. I worked with Rich D and Richard B. I have no complaints from the driver instructors. My one star rating is in regards to their customer service. I emailed them on Sunday saying I need to cancel/reschedule my appointment, which they acknowledged. On Tuesday (the day before my scheduled appointment), I got a reconfirmation voicemail. I called them as soon as I could at 10pm. I have emailed them multiple times explaining that I work during their business hours majority of the time so it's difficult to call in. Then at 2:08AM, I got a condescending text message about how I am calling them at 2am. How am I supposed to know they have calls forwarded to a cell phone number? Businesses have voicemail and email for a reason. Their attitude makes me really disappointed. read more

My son had the BEST EXPERIENCE with Richard Bradley. He was thorough and so knowledgeable! He took the time to debrief with us (the parents) after every lesson so we would know what to work on with our son before his next lesson. I called to ask a question about the Law Enforcement discount since I couldn't find the information online . They have an automated message but no one answered so I called back a few time and finally left a message. I got a call one minute later and the representative Peggy was extremely rude . Telling me that she sees I've called multiple times and basically scolding me on how I can do everything online. I explained to her that I had a question I couldn't find the answer to and she still continued to be very rude. I said I would go with another company who doesn't treat customers this way. I normally don't write reviews but I felt very disrespected, especially since I was about to spend $1,000 on Driver's Ed. I called back asking to speak to a manager and she told me no one would speak to me . She also informed me of the times I called and said no other company would even call me back as fast as she did. I let her know I wasn't intentionally bothering her and I thought it was an automated call center with multiple representatives. Even then she continued to be very rude and told me to do it online . I think a business should not treat clients the way I was treated . I'll take money else where. If this is how Cantor's driving school operates I don't want them teaching my teen how to drive. My 17 year old son took 3 lessons from Jim and they were fabulous. He was patient but clear and gave him the confidence he needed to drive without being so nervous. I registered my daughter for the 6 hrs driving course and her instructor was Rich. She nothing but positive things to say about him. He taught her to parallel park which I'm happy about because I can't. On the first day they go over the basics of the car so you don't get 2 hrs of driving on that day but the other days you do. I would recommend them to teach your child if you are getting frustrated with them. read more

I ended up needing to take the license test three times before passing. I did feel super comfortable behind the wheel and when being instructed but when it came time to take the test I failed twice. It is my fault for failing and no one else's but maybe the instructor could have taught more of the rules while on the road, such as school speed limit, not to just drop speed when entering the school zone but to gradually do it, etc... When I failed I had three automatic fails that I didn't know about or wasn't informed about so maybe just the small details would've helped in passing had I been informed. Again, failing was my fault but taking the driving lessons I was assured I was ready by the instructor which gave me false confidence that I knew what I was doing and didn't need to know anything more. read more

Totally forgot to write this review after my lessons a while ago. I took lessons because my mother thought it would help me become less nervous on the road, and this definitely taught me everything I needed to know. I had only been on the road two or three times in Las Vegas before my lessons. My instructor Norman taught me defensive driving skills that helped me become capable of passing my driving test and becoming a successful and safe driver who is on the road every day now. Cantor's driving school was probably the best idea I have ever had. I highly recommend it as I had little to no experience behind the wheel and was extremely nervous to be on the road. I passed the final evaluation recently. The Cantor's driving school is really good for new drivers. I have little experience driving on roads before and take the ten hours' course. I have two teachers: Owen (the first two classes) and Kathleen (the last two classes and final evaluation). Both of them are very good. If you have any problem in understanding them, be free to ask and they will repeat and answer you patiently. They have different kinds of teaching. Owen follows your rhythm and the progress may be a little slow; Kathleen may challenge a little but you will have more experience. I drove on freeway twice in Kathleen's classes. It is challenging and exciting. :) They will pick you to the place for teaching and drive you home, but the time spent on the ways is counted in your learning time. There is no plenty of time for your practice. To pass the final evaluation, you need to practice a lot after classes. read more
