NV Drivers Ed goes above and beyond! Our son had his permit and had been driving for more than the…read morehours required but was nervous about the driving test. We were, too! We called NV Drivers Ed with to see about getting a lesson from someone outside of our family. They were able to fit us in on short notice and Brian took our son himself for the lesson. He was amazing! He took him to the area where he was testing the next week and explained things the instructors look for and pointed out a few tricky areas, including construction zones, school zone, a street where the speed limit changes, and a few other things. In addition, we noticed our son drove differently after that one lesson!!! He was more observant of right-of-way, tricky 4-way stops, and some extra things that we didn't even know about!!! Our son went in the next week and passed the test on his first try without any deductions!!! THANK YOU Brian, and everyone at NV Drivers Ed for all you do!!! He still owes us 2 lessons! I have been trying to reach him since February. Still no response. And unfortunately, there isn't anyone else in this driving school that we can contact. I normally don't write reviews but I had to write this anyone to warn everyone to stay away. Most of us have teenagers who need his services, and he is stealing from us.

We were able to schedule a couple of drive lessons with the same instructor, as well as with other instructors for how different people teach. The drive test refresher was also a welcome lesson. John H. was amazing! We had arranged he would pick up our son from the house and then we would meet them at the DMV for the scheduled drive test. We had a little paperwork issue which was my fault, but John was there and got me the right contact to be able to remedy the issue quickly and still be able to take the drive test. I really appreciate the level of knowledge and care Cantor's puts into their instructors.

Especially after later hearing what's going on with schools, etc., and CDL driver's licenses in various states. Then for the classroom instruction there was "New York Russ"! Russ is bold, a New-Yorker, and helps you find what you're made of. His voice carries, but his compassion for his students carries much louder. You quickly learn the first day that he is one that cares and truly wants you to succeed. And the class was fun! On to the driving range was "Not much of a talker - Walker"! Mr. Walker speaks in a low tone but tells you everything you need to know. He is patient and will advocate for getting you additional help if needed. I'm sure I added a few gray hairs to his crown, but he never gave up on me. Thanks so much Mr. Walker! Then there was the other driver trainer, "Mellow Matt"! Matt filled in my last week for Mr. Walker during his medical leave. Matt has tons of patience, is always positive, uplifting, and helped me get to the finish line. I didn't have much interaction with the driving range manager, Kyle, but he would also come out to give us some good tips and was also passionate about making sure we all succeeded. They ALL are ALWAYS looking for different ways to help you succeed which makes me teary-eyed. Like, they really are watching you and trying to see what they can do different the next day, if it didn't work yesterday, to make it all click. Drum roll‼‼‼ I met my Instructor, RUSS This man has 700miles under his ass and I wanted to know everything I could learn from him. His teaching is innate, he gives you more than trucking, he gives you his heart and soul of trucking. He created a new person, love, and appreciation towards the entire trucking industry. He was very patient and easy to talk to and always showed up to my house early or on time. Starting out, if you just follow EVERYTHING he tells you to do, then things will start to make sense and driving becomes sort of second nature. I love their car because it's fun, comfortable, and easy to use. My 2 problems with them is after 10 hours of driving lessons, I still didn't know how to park and be a safe driver. After them, I can drive but not well. And last thing, my instructor always interfered with my steering wheel. I totally appreciate it starting off because I sucked but by the last few lessons, I felt like I got the hang of it and just needed practice but I didn't learn when he was always taking over the wheel. Overall my experience was good and I do recommend them for any type of driver including first time drivers. But if you're a first time driver, don't expect to be great by the end of it. Overall, they're good. if I could, I'd give them 3.5 stars.
