I've seen people eating burgers and dogs here, but the vast majority are trying to beat the heat with the ice cream. Varying flavours, in my opinion, best utilized in shake format. All burgers come with Fries and range in price depending on their toppings, no one had a problem enjoying one, that's for sure. The real star was the Clubhouse Sandwich, everyone was envious: huge slabs of turkey breast made the sandwich like four inches (10 cm!) thick. You can share fries since the servings are huge. The decor inside is dated AF but at least there is Air Conditioning. The guy working the counter is friendly enough, willing to explain menu items but doesn't always seen up for a chat. The bathroom is passable plus, as is the general tidiness of everything you sit on or touch. Worth stopping at especially for the Milkshakes!

The good: food was good, staff was friendly, ambience was enjoyable sitting outside near the lake in the shade. Family enjoyed the food, especially the fish although our pieces were crumbling and falling apart just touching them to move to other plates. Fries were good, tenders were good. Tartar sauce had a slight honey mustard taste which was a nice change. The bad: prices have gone up since last persons post 9 months ago. Items have increased $2-$3 dollars since then. Someone claiming the burgers were huge and could barely finish half of one, also confirmed by staff they were huge, was not so the case. It was a standard size burger I would compare to slightly shorter than a Big Mac at McDonald's. Other critique was the gravy on the poutine was slightly on the salty side as well. Dining bonus they give you 10% of at picnics ice cream and dessert place that is located next door. Overall it was a nice lunch but will cost you a considerate amount being in a tourist area. Our bill was $89 before tips for a family of 5 with a toddler sharing 3 entrees and drinking water.
