Excellent burger spot! The burgers were juicy, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. The ingredients…read moretasted fresh, the bun was soft, and every bite was packed with flavor. The fries were crispy and complemented the meal perfectly. The service was friendly and fast, and the restaurant had a clean, welcoming atmosphere. It's hard to find a place that gets everything right, but this one definitely does. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great burger, and I'll definitely be coming back!

Checked this place out while visiting Harrison Lake Hot Springs. So other reviewers have stated…read morethat this place is great and you get a huge amount of food for having the reputation of a tourist trap. I will agree and disagree with some of these reviews from a perspective of a tourist but also someone who eats out a lot. The good: food was good, staff was friendly, ambience was enjoyable sitting outside near the lake in the shade. Family enjoyed the food, especially the fish although our pieces were crumbling and falling apart just touching them to move to other plates. Fries were good, tenders were good. Tartar sauce had a slight honey mustard taste which was a nice change. The bad: prices have gone up since last persons post 9 months ago. Items have increased $2-$3 dollars since then. Someone claiming the burgers were huge and could barely finish half of one, also confirmed by staff they were huge, was not so the case. It was a standard size burger I would compare to slightly shorter than a Big Mac at McDonald's. Other critique was the gravy on the poutine was slightly on the salty side as well. Dining bonus they give you 10% of at picnics ice cream and dessert place that is located next door. Overall it was a nice lunch but will cost you a considerate amount being in a tourist area. Our bill was $89 before tips for a family of 5 with a toddler sharing 3 entrees and drinking water.

The decore is cute and I spent a good time just looking around and enjoying all their decorations and signs. We came in after a long drive and were seated immediately. It was quiet when we arrived and then got quite busy. I love how they have a self serve soup station and all you can drink soup if you choose that option. The soups were wonderful. Hearty and hot. 5/5 split pea and ham soup 5/5 beef barley 3.5/5 smokey mountain bourbon BBQ beef and mozzarella burger. It was good but a little heavy on the BBQ sauce. Wasn't able to taste the beef or the bacon very much. 2/5 triple mayo Parm fries. A bit lacking. When it first came it didn't have any Parm on it. After speaking to the server she kindly got it topped with Parm. The fries were okay but came unsalted which is fine. After 5 mins it cooled down and it got kinda hard and was no longer good to eat. Other than the honey mustard mayo, the other two (garlic and another one) basically tasted the same. Very understaffed, not sure if it was just this day as we've only been here once, but it was only one server running the entire restaurant. Would I come back? Yes. Probably. The soups were delicious, but I'd probably skip the fries.

Especially the soup. Being a soup fanatic, I would suggest soup with every meal. More so here. They feature an all-you-can-eat, self-serve soup bar. Every soup I've tried has been fantastic. At our table we all sampled the Baked Lasagna, Danish Baby Back Ribs and a 15 topping pizza called the Canyon Colossal. They advertise it as a 17 topping pie, but in truth, Italian tomato sauce and mozzarella cheese are standard, not toppings. Still a classic pizza with great flavour. In fact, all the dishes, we found delicious! The crew were a delight and on top of it. I love a full water glass. This is also convenient, right off the highway. Should we make it back to Fraser canyon, this is a no-Brainer. 09/22

It is mostly burgers, chicken and sandwiches. It is a very old style diner inside with no charm or redeeming qualities - arborite tables and chairs. The food is very expensive for what you get - $3.00 for coffee, $9.50 for 2 piece chicken snack and $2.00 for a small soft drink. Because the kitchen is open you can hear the staff talking among themselves and we heard a disparaging remark made about us. Note to staff - when you make comments about me I can hear you and I do not appreciate your comments. The food was disgusting. We both had a 2 piece chicken snack. The French fries were well beyond well done and the chicken was greasy. When I lifted up my chicken I noticed that the oil on the plate from the chicken was green so I don't know how often they change the oil if at all. This is definitely a place to stay away from.

Reading the other reviews, I see I'm not alone in stopping here en route to Penticton (it's a good mid-point for a break). There's a small parking strip on the side of the building. I love supporting smaller shops and cafes, and this particular one is indigenous-owned so it seems extra special! Love the motto, too: "Don't panic..We have bannock!". Cute! The cafe is small but clean, with Indigenous artwork on the walls. Of course we ordered bannock! I ordered a maple one, and my kid ordered a berry one (might've been the Saskatoon berry, I forget). I'll be honest, they were absolutely delicious, and fresh, and fluffy and sweet and glazed, but mine absolutely did NOT have much of a maple taste - like, AT ALL. It was like the glaze on a Krispy Kreme glazed donut. Delicious, yes, and sugary, but not maple-y. My kid's berry one was very subtle in its berry flavor. Again, excellent, but not knock-out berry-y. To me, these treats were similar to donuts without the holes. More like fluffy fritters. Delicious, but not as unique as I thought they'd be. As for the coffees....my maple latte, again, sadly, did not taste at ALL maple-y. But it was an excellent coffee: very smooth and flavorful. You could tell the beans were excellent. There just was no maple taste. But my kid had a berry latte (again, I forget what kind), but this drink was EXCELLENT and it totally DID have a distinct berry flavor to it, and it was wonderful! (We both tried both bannocks and both lattes, and we both agreed on this review). We didn't try the sandwiches but they looked quite good. They also had some cute Kekuli Cafe merch for sale.
