And although there isn't much competition around here, I would still say that this restaurant is worth a stop. The staff are all super friendly. The view of the lake is great. And the food is good. I got the breakfast wrap, which has a healthy portion of eggs and sauteed veggies. It tastes phenomenal and I would most certainly get it again. I had mine with fruit, which was fresh, but having tried the potatoes, I think that's the way to go! The only note is that they do put the salsa in the wrap, and so it does tend to leak out the bottom. The rest of the table got the salmon lox which looked phenomenal. Large portions of smoked salmon. The scrambled eggs are fluffy. And the onions and capers add really nice acidity. I am not a coffee or tea drinker, so unfortunately I can't speak to their drinks too well.

On the first call, a young man took the booking, confirmed the patio request, and then asked for my credit card over the phone for the 30 dollar no show fee. I declined and asked that he email me so I could provide it securely. No email arrived. I called again and spoke with a woman who assured me everything was confirmed. Upon arrival, I was told a patio reservation was impossible because they "do not do that." Fair enough, except the patio had an open table for eight. When I asked if we could take it, I was told it was reserved for a walk in. In the three hours we were there, that table remained untouched. Either the walk in was exceptionally punctual in not arriving, or the explanation was simply convenient. Now to the food, which unfortunately did not redeem the plot. Every steak ordered at our table was overcooked, and service pacing was inconsistent. Dishes arrived in scattered intervals, with one meal landing after the rest of the table had already finished. Even on a busy night, timing is part of hospitality, not an optional add on. I can forgive a kitchen having an off moment. What was harder to overlook was the lack of professionalism on the floor. A server's skirt repeatedly rode up to the point that her buttocks were visibly exposed while bending and leaning, including directly outside the glass beside our table. My niece, seated by the window, turned toward a noise and was met with an image no family dining experience should include. My sister discreetly and politely notified our waitress, as one would hope someone would do for them. The issue continued multiple times afterward. There was no manager on duty. We were given the owner's number, and I left a voicemail. If I receive a response, I will gladly update this review. As it stands, I cannot recommend this restaurant. Between the reservation contradictions, overcooked steaks, erratic pacing, and a front of house standard that fell well below basic expectations, the experience missed the mark in ways that were both avoidable and unnecessary.

I like going to Harrison Hot Springs but I never did like the meal offerings on site so we decided to eat off site, but we had to get back by 8am to enjoy the pool before checking out. The first place we walked by was this place. It looked pretty retro and cozy and nice inside from the street so we took a risk. First surprise was one of the staff opened the door and greeted us. Even though the waiter was dealing with a problem on his computer system, he was able to remain super polite with us . I know how hard that is. He asked us how we wanted our eggs and the scrambled eggs actually showed up the way we asked. The coffee was a solid roast so you could probably even take coffee to go from here as well I was thinking for next time. Bottom line, these folks should be supported for being so excellent in customer service but bonus - the food was awesome! This will be my new go-to place moving forward. Didn't get a chance to try burgers but I can vouch for breakfast. read more

In need of dinner and my kids were more focused on fun than eating. We wandered by this place, and my kid in true 4 year old fashion was not going in. And then the owner popped out and said "hi" to him and said he would make something yummy. We ordered fish and chips, salmon burger, Cajun chicken burger and a grilled cheese (which isn't on the menu but the owner offered it to her). Chicken burger was great and ordered with a gluten free bun which was excellent (not too hard or falling apart like some GF buns). I personally would have preferred a spicier Cajun but it was still tasty. Salmon burger was excellent, the fries had great seasoning and the kids ate all the fish and chips and ate two grilled cheeses. They raved about this food! They are new, so some patience is required. And it's a small space so may not be good for some folks. But for us it was great, definitely worth popping by. read more

We were at a gift shop couple doors down, and the lady there recommended this place, also mentioning that many of her customers said it was really good. So we popped by and got greeted outside the door which felt inviting. The staff is super super kind & the food is awesome :) you have to try and see for your self.
