I live very close by but never used this place before. I wasn't super familiar with the services they offered and thought they attached extra fees on purchases etc. (which I read on Yelp another place did) When I needed stamps for last minute Christmas cards, and the PO was closed and the grocery store was out, I called and he said there was no extra charges for stamps, to come on by. The owner was very kind and greeted each customer with a smile and chatted with the regulars. He multitasked to help the line quickly, but didn't make me feel rushed. So this is my local convenient go to place to drop off packages and handle basic admin errands. I typically use this location to ship out care kits for my customers, especially during covid-19. The staff have been super helpful and going above and beyond in helping with boxes and packaging. I have read the other reviews and can understand frustrations regarding passport photos etc, but I can't really comment on that. I think the trick to this place is knowing what to come here for, and what not to. At this point I just buy boxes because they have a good selection. And they have small variations you can't find everywhere. For example, they carry a 4x4x4" box, a 5x5x5", and a 6x6x6" (this may seem like overkill, but depending on what you ship it can make a difference, so it's nice to have the options). But I've bought the same size box three times in a week, and paid a different price each time. And two of those times were with the same employee. Maybe they operate based on how they feel that day? I'm not too sure. I've bought three boxes at once and somehow paid more per box than I've previously paid when buying the same size individually. Sometimes they charge me tax, and at other times just a round flat fee. It's a bit of a crapshoot. At the very basic level of business I'm doing I just roll with this kind of thing. But if I were coming here for more important stuff, I can see how their seemingly haphazard approach to doing business could be an issue. Some things are worth the drive to The UPS Store or the post office. read more

They have always treated me like we are old friends! Sure they charge more than the post office or UPS... they are a convenient alternative and charge a processing/handling fee. I have a mailbox here, frequently ship packages, and have had my live scan done here. Additionally, I have made copies & sent a fax here before... never a problem! I'm so surprised they don't have ALL 5 STAR REVIEWS! I'm wondering if there has been a language barrier at times that has contributed to some concerns? I also believe that a person's energy feeds off of others' energy - I've been told I'm happy and bubbly. I'm also a GLAMma (grandma) so I'm around small kids a lot. I have sent 2 important packages from this location and neither item made it to its destination with no explanation as to why. First was a work-related document, second was an electronic item return that arrived at its destination with nothing in the box. Highly suspicious as this has never occurred during my lifetime. They don't care if you have to wait a very long time to drop off even a prepaid box or package, they just keep you waiting because maybe they aren't making money off someone who is just dropping off. While I don't expect to be greeted with champagne or for them to know me by name, I have to say the customer service in this place registers somewhere between "go away" to "we're kind of glad you're here but just pay and leave please." I've been here multiple times to drop off and ship packages and I always feel like an unwelcome guest at a house party who just drank the last beer. They don't greet you. They don't smile. Most of the time they don't say please and thank you. I can't tell if I'm dealing with the owner or an employee, but neither appear to be happy. I just wish that this place had more of a small business feel (after all it is one!) with at least decent customer service. If I wanted this level of customer service I would go to the post office or the DMV! They get three stars because they get the job done but that's about it. read more

My husband and I ship from here once in a while and have never had any problems. They're nice and extremely helpful. I had an issue with a company claiming to not have received my packages that I mailed from here. Since it was shipped in December, I no longer had the receipt with tracking. I walked in and Sabrina was so awesome. She was able to locate my information and printed all the tracking info I needed proving that my shipment was delivered to the correct location. I'm done with this store after years of hassles. They are always friendly until you need something important from them. Almost every time I've dropped off a package at this store for shipment through FedEx using a pre-paid shipping label that I created on eBay, I've received a hassle by store personnel for requesting a receipt for the drop-off. They say the same thing each time, over and over - "you already have a tracking number assigned and you don't need a receipt from us." Well... when the last package I dropped off never showed up as picked up by FedEx on the tracking information, I returned to the store to see if it was still there. Apparently that's an insulting question. I was asked if I was sure I had dropped it off at that store. I said yes. I was asked if I had a receipt (gee, what a concept!) I said yes. I was told that FedEx may have mishandled the package and it may turn up soon. After a few days I returned to the store and asked again if there was any chance the package was somewhere in the store. I was told no way. I contacted FedEx to trace the package. They said that it never came into their possession. After a second check two days later I filed a claim. After more than 10 days of following-up with FedEx I had the claim escalated to a manager. Sure enough, the package magically appeared and was picked up from the store today. I will no longer entrust any package to this store and their rude personnel. read more
