Cafe inside as you walk in and a front desk to the right. Drinks, coffee and some desserts. Three lounge benches to wait, rest while enjoying your order. Concrete tables in back with view of middle school's basketball courts and track. Limited parking out front. Will try their cafe next time. Come support this local facility.

His band's music was made for dancing and I have two left or right feet. The regular fans know what they are coming for - to dance. One of these days I'll earn without upsetting a partner. I was invited for a round of golf by my cousin and her husband who are members. I had never heard…read moreof the Richmond Country Club, but it is a members only course. It's been about 8 years since I played regularly, so I am trying to get myself out there and take advantage of the summer, exercise and friendly competition. I arrived early for our late morning tee off, so I found myself at the bar celebrating a pre-birthday mimosa while getting my game face ready. The place was somewhat empty that morning, but the golf course was a steady flow of players. Without a drivable cart, we were lagging behind others who had one and were better - so we tried to hurry up and let others play through to catch up. Overall everyone was nice and the timing worked out. After 9 holes, there's a snack shack with sandwiches, hot dogs, ice cold beer and beverages. It's like the reward you've been waiting for. I had a nice cold Lagunitas IPA and hung out with my family enjoying the scenery. I had a blast at Richmond Country Club and look forward to going back again after a few more rounds of practice.

Update: a few people have written me asking about my review over the years and why i would…read morerecommend not joining the club. While i do think the course is great, (except for holes 2-4, which are kinda shoehorned in) Mike Iker and the board that support him at Richmond are completely incompetent. There was an incident where a very rich, very well connected group hit into ours over and over again. There was a confrontation, and because a guest of a member in my group used a curse word toward the group that had hit into us and cursed at us multiple times, we were asked to write a formal apology to the group that went out of their way to try to injure us and also be jerks. When i met with the board, other members were on my side and explained to "mr" Iker that he was clearly wrong and that if anyone should apologize, it was the other group. He was unrelenting and in the end, six of the younger members ended up leaving the club because we were harassed by the group in question, and by Mike himself. I received apologies from the GM and the head of sales, who were both very nice, for Mike's behavior, and multiple people have apologized to me since. I could see rejoining the club if i got an apology from mike and the club, and a clear outline of how they hope to change, but i generally dont hold my breath on stubborn cowards doing the right thing. edit: Mike emailed me after I wrote this review to awkwardly, cowardly, and sarcastically thank me for my feedback. I don't think there is anything on earth that sums him and the club up as well as that. You're welcome for saving you all from these sad husks of excuses for men.

This is a BALLROOM studio, where you learn and practice ballroom dancing. Think of ballet studio or jazz or hip hop, you would not expect those studios to have alcohol. This studio is probably the best in the Bay Area for ballroom dancing. Excellent teachers and instructors. I have taken both beginner, intermediate, series, and bronze level classes. I have some dancing experience but my partner doesn't, so he is now able (after 4 classes) do the basic steps for Viennese Waltz. This studio hosts events, which is fun but again it won't have alcohol. This studio emphasizes on ALL levels and welcomes ALL. You can always ask the staff questions before attending a class to see which level you fit into. The area is safe but it is an urban area, so please stop putting 1 star reviews bc your stuff got stolen from your car. It's not relevant to this studio. It's not their responsibility ... stop being dramatic. I don't work for Allegro and don't get compensated in any way by them. I just find it annoying that people post 1 star reviews for the heck of it. This is an excellent place to learn ballroom dancing and compete. If you are new or advanced, you will find an appropriate level for you!

I just stayed three nights Jul 24-27, 2026. The hold deposit was $250.00. My first stay after check-out, the money was back on my card in three days. This time, after checking with my bank, the hold is still pending after 4 days. My bank said to call the hotel. no one answered for 11 minutes. I tried a few minutes later and I got someone who just ended telling me to wait 3-7 days, but if I don't have my money back to call my bank. The bank is waiting for them to release the hold. She didn't even ask me my name. I told her the dates I stayed there and when I checked out. I don't have a lot of confidence in the front desk that is there now. they are not the same people I had last year. Day 7 of M-F working day will be August 5th. If my money is still on hold, I will contact their corporate headquarters in Atlanta. Maybe the front desk needs new hires. I paid for the room in advance weeks before. At the front desk initially, I was denied because my visa didn't have a chip. She eventually accepted it, thank God. You don't get the hotel payment back and I didn't have a reservation anywhere else. Waiting for the hold release is stressing me out because I don't know if they even started a hold release. I was just told to wait the 3-7 days. My next visit to the SF Bay Area, I will stay somewhere else. I have traveled the world and never had this problem. Some places check the room, and you get your security deposit back the same day, especially if they took cash. I hope these people are not crooks! Just wanted to add my check-in was ok. The young guy I had at check-out didn't give me my receipt. I emailed for a copy and they have not responded. My bank is just waiting for the hold release, me too!

They put a concert on once a month featuring different bands. Admission for nonmembers was $12.00. Between sets, there was a jam session. The venue is spacious there is a dance floor and a full bar. They were also serving food. There is also a good-sized parking lot. Looking at the information I found it seems that you can rent the hall for events. If I was planning on a reception or some other event I would consider this venue.
