My…read moredaughter has special needs and has made huge strides since seeing Maria Brandon and her staff. OT Ms. Emily and Speech Ms. Gelela make each session more like a "playdate" so my daughter has no idea she is learning new skills. She loves going to the fun enviroment to "play" each week. It is hard to get her to leave. She is treated with kindness, love, respect, and dignity. I highly recommend taking your child of any age here for Speech,Occupational, or Feeding Therapies. The staff individualizes each plan for your specific child's needs and helps parents implement the new skills learned to be reinforced at home. I am grateful they are a part of my daughter's life.

It started when I was told I could transfer to another location that was close to my work when I return to work from my injury by their call center. I was told by the office staff I would have to get director approval to do this. Why do I need their director to approve this? Shouldn't I be able to go to any location or provider for that matter that I choose to? Ann also gave me conflicting information regarding scheduling appointments for another location I was going to transfer to. She was rude and is obviously unaware of her company's own policies. They also said they would email me the exercises for home therapy twice because of a "computer glitch" in the system that would not allow them to upload exercises to my app. That didn't happen. I was only able to get them after I spoke with an office manager over the phone later that day. I was stuck there until my transfer was approved and was able to get an appointment with the other location. It was uncomfortable. They made such a big deal of the transfer as if they took it personal mentioning every time I went for the therapy sessions. There are much better locations to go to. I would never return to this location again.

If you are looking for a caring, competent and reasonably priced in-home therapist for your child,…read morethen Kids Therapy Place will provide what you need. My daughter is 8, dx ASD, Dyspraxia with possible ID. She also struggles with hypotonia and hyper mobility. Life definitely is not easy for her, HOWEVER Nick (OT) and Vicki (ST) are making things more manageable and easier for her. Mr. Nick is powered by Starbucks and love for what he does. It shows every single therapy session as he switches things up, engages and encourages my child all the while motivating her to do more. As my 8 year old has told me many times "Mr. Nick is so cool and awesome!" lol. I think she would do OT every day with Mr. Nick if she could! In 6 months, my child has made HUGE noticeable progress. And best of all, SHE notices it. Us special needs parents know the overwhelming feeling of watching your child struggle, yet not knowing how to help. Now my daughter can do things she couldn't or wouldn't before and she beams with pride each time she does. Confidence in herself and trust in her body and judgement is a priceless gift. Ms. Vicki is knowledgeable, kind and willing to work with your child in whatever way will benefit. She is open to suggestions, encouraging and full of praise for every single victory, big or small. At my daughter's eval my child was using 2-3 word phrases, now she is up to 5-6. This is in only 3-4 months time. And the speech sessions are full of activities including words, talking etc. obviously, but have also included physical activity and just general fun. Again, whatever it takes to engage the child is how she operates. As a side note, we are self paying for these services. Everything is out of pocket. The prices are the least expensive I have found. It's astonishing to me, because at the level of therapy provided, the therapists could definitely be charging more. And we pay for an hour session. This is a FULL 60 minutes of therapy. It's not 45 or 50 of therapy and then 10 of paperwork. The therapists are not leaving our house until the full hour of therapy is done. They will answer questions, give suggestions or take recommendations during therapy, but at no time does the child's therapy suffer. This is one of the best decisions we have made for our daughter and I am so thankful for Mr. Nick and Ms. Vicki!

1 Star - A Disappointing and Demeaning Experience for a Child Who Deserves Better…read more What happened to my daughter and me at SpeakEasy Therapy demands to be addressed--not just as a parent, but as a professional who understands how healthcare systems should work. Let's start with the facts: My daughter was removed from the OT schedule due to attendance. Fair enough--we missed sessions. But the way this was communicated was profoundly unprofessional and downright disrespectful. I mistakenly mixed up our appointment time by an hour and showed up late. As I stood at the front counter, the scheduler texted me that we had been removed from the schedule--while I was literally standing right there. That's how they chose to deliver the news: through a passive-aggressive text message instead of a face-to-face conversation or even a private call. To make it worse, the front desk assistant casually stated that "even her therapist said attendance had been an issue," making it very clear there were internal discussions happening about my daughter without including me--the parent responsible for her care. If there were concerns, why not reach out sooner? Why wasn't I looped in to collaborate on a solution? Then came the whiplash: I was offered a spot the very next day, but no one told me the therapist had changed. Nova, my daughter, excitedly walked in and was completely ignored by the new therapist--who walked right by us like we didn't exist. That's not just poor communication--that's harmful for a 6-year-old child who needs connection, routine, and support to thrive. At this point, I requested a copy of our attendance records and asked for the corporate contact info. Suddenly, the manager, Quintana, got on the phone--a bit late to "manage," if you ask me. I made it clear I hadn't asked to speak with her, told her I'd follow up on my own, and ended the call politely. Those records never came. When I followed up through the main records office, I learned they didn't even have my correct email on file. How are families supposed to access care when your systems are this sloppy? I asked multiple times for a copy of the attendance policy. I was told to call the clinic. I did. They told me to call the scheduler. So, which is it? At that point, it felt like everyone was dodging accountability. Two weeks later, I finally received the original policy--which we had agreed to. I accept that we violated the policy--but there are a million more professional and compassionate ways to address it, especially when the child in question is neurodivergent and trying to access critical therapy services. After a month of being bounced around, I found a voicemail from a man named Michael--maybe a regional director or owner? I called him back and cried on the phone explaining the trauma and hardship we've endured over the past year, only to be met with a few sympathetic words and...nothing. No follow-up. No support. No restoration of services. Just radio silence. Entire summer: wasted. No therapy, no resolution, no accountability. My daughter was punished for my scheduling mistake, and our entire family paid the price. SpeakEasy, if you truly value children and families, then treat them like partners--not problems. If you're going to make administrative decisions that affect a child's therapy, you must communicate them in a human, respectful, and compassionate way. You failed my daughter. You failed me. And your system failed itself. Parents: be cautious. If your child needs consistency, empathy, and professional care, this is not the place.
