If you're looking to improve speech deficiencies for yourself or a loved one, look no further. Jen…read moreis second to none - her passion for SLP really shines through her sessions and even prior. I was concerned about my cluttering before our therapy sessions but wanted a provider who took my insurance. Jen followed up with me regularly and provided therapists and clinics to reach out to check in on me to see if I got the help I needed. Being so busy with work and life, I decided to work with Jen and go out of pocket for her sessions. Let me tell you - BEST. DECISION. EVER. Jen identified what I needed to work on, listened to what I wanted, and tailored highly effective 30 minute sessions with corresponding homework. The best part? Sessions don't even feel like I'm in therapy - it feels like I'm just chatting with a friend with a trained ear who points out things to work on with my speech. It's been 3 sessions so far and my co-workers, my patients at work (I'm a dentist), my wife, and my family members have all noticed how it's easier to understand me. (Actually now, my patients don't ask me to repeat myself multiple times because they can comprehend my words - this is the biggest victory for me ) If you're looking for a fairly-priced therapist who listens to your needs and will actually tailor a custom program to help you achieve that goal, Jen is the therapist you need. Thank you, Jen

OT Ms. Emily and Speech Ms. Gelela make each session more like a "playdate" so my daughter has no idea she is learning new skills. She loves going to the fun enviroment to "play" each week. It is hard to get her to leave. She is treated with kindness, love, respect, and dignity. I highly recommend taking your child of any age here for Speech,Occupational, or Feeding Therapies. The staff individualizes each plan for your specific child's needs and helps parents implement the new skills learned to be reinforced at home. I am grateful they are a part of my daughter's life.

RUN!!!!…read more Hi Lorrie, We have waived the fees for the evaluations because of the situation so you will not be financially responsible for the evaluations that were already conducted. When Colleen informed you that the boys are "good to go," she was referring to us having a script and having all paperwork completed. We are out of network and you know this information as you have received services with us in the past as well and you know we are out of network. INFORMATION FOR PARENTS: My son hadn't been at Speech House for a long time. The owner (Maria) took a 2-month break. We had a 7-year treatment history with her. After her request she rarely answered emails. I tried to start services again, she would say we could start soon, disappear again, and then lie about not getting emails. This was not only affecting my child, but incredibly disrespectful. I finally gave up. Over a year later the occupational therapist for BOTH my boys tells me she is transferring from her current company to Speech House in 2 months and transferring clients with her. She been our therapist for years. This is when I'm also told the owner (Maria) now has an army of office staff. I realize she's been spending her time creating a puppy mill business. This was her concern instead her clients. I'm also offered speech again with us moving over, but with a different therapist. For the next two month's the OT keeps telling me everything is "good to go" according to Speech House. We are asked to get referrals from our pediatrician and provided our insurance information. I'm never contacted further by the office. Then the day before the change my insurance calls to let me know this company is OUT of network THE SAME DAY authorization is sent by Speech House. Knowing this beforehand they said nothing. They waited until the day before the change to send this to our insurance! Later the owner (above) attempts to blame parents for not knowing who she is currently contract with for insurance. At the time when my insurance called, I immediately reached out to the Speech House. They casually offered to switch to "cash pay" for $600 monthly, like it's no big deal. I was placed in a horrible position. Do this or loose services. You can wait a year or more to replace lost therapy. I have two boys and two different therapies now at stake. But I had no choice but to decline cash paying. Only then did they offer to do a letter of agreement with my insurance so they would be paid as "in network. But they wanted me to do it for them. I stop my workday to spend hours dealing with the situation. Our insurance then advised I could not negotiate an agreement on behalf of Speech House. Plus, the current authorization must be canceled. A letter of agreement cannot be done if out of network service is authorized. I call Speech House again and provide this information to contact our carrier directly. I get an attitude as if I'm putting them out after putting me in this situation. An approval response is 10 days. I'm told they will handle this. Our OT then calls the office as well to follow up and was discouraged from being involved. Two weeks later I get an email telling me to approve the previous authorization again, which I remind them that's approving cash pay and a letter of agreement was to be requested. The next week I'm sent another email stating BOTH my children's spots for OT AND SPEECH were given away and have a nice day. I was shocked. The owner then explains they are not "obligated" to do a letter of agreement, but they will not send me a bill!!! Then I realize a letter of agreement was never requested with our insurance. They just kept pushing for an authorization to cash pay and then canceled my boys services instead. They also cannot legally send a bill when we NEVER had services with Speech house AND the speech therapist never saw my son. If you enjoy dealing with a company who is dishonest, rude, has no accountability for their actions, runs a puppy mill for money over children, dealing with the owner Maria who has no moral compass, being blamed for their negligence, or screwing over your special needs children for at least a year.... this is your place!!! Thank you for being so amazing Speech House!!!

This happened about two months ago…read more Went to my 2 year old son's appointment at 9am, my husband came with us (who came straight from night shift work) since it's our son's first speech appointment. The frontdesk checked us in. I was wondering since my son is a new patient, no paperworks was given but I didn't bother to ask. We patiently waited then I noticed couple of patients was called and there we are still waiting. My poor husband was taking a power nap while waiting. Then my son started to get bored. It's 9:35am, so I went to the frontdesk and ask. She went to the office behind her and spoke to the therapist. Front desk lady came back and said the therapist's computer is broken that is why they have not called us and would like to reschedule the appointment for next week. I'm like what?? I called my husband and he got frustrated. He should be sleeping by now. And my poor son should still be sleeping. We came for an early appointment. Be professional if you are professionals. We asked for the therapist so we could talk to her. When she came, she just said "Hi. How may I help you?" I was thinking really you don't know what is happening after the front desk already spoke to you? And you in the first place should know you have a patient that you are seeing at 9am. But being a professional myself, I controlled my emotion and just introduce myself, my husband and my son who has appointment at 9, but it's already 9:35 and no one bother to tell us what is happening. We were just waiting here for nothing. And to think she had an appointment at 8:30 with another patient, all of a sudden her computer is broken? Can she not use another computer? Why they did not tell us earlier? We were really disappointed. We would understand if they said she's with another patient and she's behind. She didn't even bother to introduce her self. I was the one who asked who she is. Her name is Donna. They ended up rescheduling us. We left the office with frustrations. We went straight to my son's pediatricians office and asked if there is any other speech therapy who can see us in the valley. Unfortunately, this office is the only one who is affiliated with our insurance. I called the office and tried to get a different appointment/therapist. They were able to fit my son into a different therapist Erica and said she's one of the owners. So we made it to our appointment the following week, signed in and I was given paperworks to fill out right away. I was wondering why there is paperworks now, last week there was none. I asked the same frontdesk from last week. She said "I don't know". Did not say anything and just started to write on the paper. Then we were called right away by Erica. She is very nice and did a great job with my son. I am so glad that she is my son's therapist and not the first one. I guess everything happens for a reason. Erica is awesome! and she apologized of what happened last week before we head out.

1 Star - A Disappointing and Demeaning Experience for a Child Who Deserves Better…read more What happened to my daughter and me at SpeakEasy Therapy demands to be addressed--not just as a parent, but as a professional who understands how healthcare systems should work. Let's start with the facts: My daughter was removed from the OT schedule due to attendance. Fair enough--we missed sessions. But the way this was communicated was profoundly unprofessional and downright disrespectful. I mistakenly mixed up our appointment time by an hour and showed up late. As I stood at the front counter, the scheduler texted me that we had been removed from the schedule--while I was literally standing right there. That's how they chose to deliver the news: through a passive-aggressive text message instead of a face-to-face conversation or even a private call. To make it worse, the front desk assistant casually stated that "even her therapist said attendance had been an issue," making it very clear there were internal discussions happening about my daughter without including me--the parent responsible for her care. If there were concerns, why not reach out sooner? Why wasn't I looped in to collaborate on a solution? Then came the whiplash: I was offered a spot the very next day, but no one told me the therapist had changed. Nova, my daughter, excitedly walked in and was completely ignored by the new therapist--who walked right by us like we didn't exist. That's not just poor communication--that's harmful for a 6-year-old child who needs connection, routine, and support to thrive. At this point, I requested a copy of our attendance records and asked for the corporate contact info. Suddenly, the manager, Quintana, got on the phone--a bit late to "manage," if you ask me. I made it clear I hadn't asked to speak with her, told her I'd follow up on my own, and ended the call politely. Those records never came. When I followed up through the main records office, I learned they didn't even have my correct email on file. How are families supposed to access care when your systems are this sloppy? I asked multiple times for a copy of the attendance policy. I was told to call the clinic. I did. They told me to call the scheduler. So, which is it? At that point, it felt like everyone was dodging accountability. Two weeks later, I finally received the original policy--which we had agreed to. I accept that we violated the policy--but there are a million more professional and compassionate ways to address it, especially when the child in question is neurodivergent and trying to access critical therapy services. After a month of being bounced around, I found a voicemail from a man named Michael--maybe a regional director or owner? I called him back and cried on the phone explaining the trauma and hardship we've endured over the past year, only to be met with a few sympathetic words and...nothing. No follow-up. No support. No restoration of services. Just radio silence. Entire summer: wasted. No therapy, no resolution, no accountability. My daughter was punished for my scheduling mistake, and our entire family paid the price. SpeakEasy, if you truly value children and families, then treat them like partners--not problems. If you're going to make administrative decisions that affect a child's therapy, you must communicate them in a human, respectful, and compassionate way. You failed my daughter. You failed me. And your system failed itself. Parents: be cautious. If your child needs consistency, empathy, and professional care, this is not the place.

I am leaving a five star review for the excellent treatment discussion from Linda Ganz who assisted…read moreus greatly with my husband's future planning. Linda obviously has great experience in strategizing on how to get the best for a patient who has risk of aspiration pneumonia following a brain stem stroke. We sincerely appreciated her time and energy. The technology is really great because we were able to look at real time of my husband's current condition. Although we do not live in this area, it would be worthwhile to have Linda's expertise. Should there be no other individual available for the kind of aggressive treatment that she has recommended. There is a however, however: Should you be planning to come to this facility for expert evaluation, please be sure to hand carry any documents that you have signed for the purpose of the evaluation. I used my turbo scanner to scan my documents and email them to the referrals coordinator. I also carried them with me because I had a feeling this was a good idea. During my first telephone call to the office I was perplexed as to why, in the absence of the referrals coordinator that the person at the front desk who sits right next to the referrals coordinator, could not actually take the information being relayed and set up the appointment. This only requires a little bit of cross training. We had had several discussions on the phone with the front office about scheduling and paying for my husband's test, which was a modified barium swallow test. In the previous discussions, the office staff answering the phone 1) did not relay an email to the referrals coordinator and I had to call back after several hours to confirm that my information had gone through and 2) neglected to let me know that we needed identification for the patient. Despite the fact that I paid out of pocket on the phone for the test, and the patient is in a different facility from where I am driving, we had no idea that a drivers license was required. So, fortunately, I had a photograph of the patients passport, which includes identifiers. I have no idea what a person who does not drive would bring with them, but at any rate my husband was coming in a facility and I was coming from another part of the valley. If I were running an office (I have taught customer service for medical assistants) the patient's family should be apprised of everything that's needed in the first introductory telephone call to vegas voice Institute. While I was in the office awaiting my husband's transport van, I was answering questions for the individual at the front desk.went to sit down and await the test. The individual at the front desk came back to me and asked the questions again, which I had just answered. There was no one else in the office, there was no extraneous noise, and I spoke clearly. I don't know why this consistently gets stuck in my craw that a person can be hired and not trained in professional handling of information or of listening. This was 9 o'clock in the morning and this was not 4:30 PM when one's brain could possibly be a little foggy. Two stars for customer service. Takeaway message: you get what you pay for in terms of a front office impression if you don't pay for someone who can handle basic information. The building is great and accessible, however the complex only has a ramp several stores up so be prepared to park further west in the parking lot if you are transporting someone in a chair. This is not a huge problem when the parking lot is empty as it is at 9 AM but later in the day, this could be helpful for you.
