Southwest Location (The Curve) - One of the therapists (white dude with beard) and an office worker behind the front desk (Ann) was unprofessional and immature. It started when I was told I could transfer to another location that was close to my work when I return to work from my injury by their call center. I was told by the office staff I would have to get director approval to do this. Why do I need their director to approve this? Shouldn't I be able to go to any location or provider for that matter that I choose to? Ann also gave me conflicting information regarding scheduling appointments for another location I was going to transfer to. She was rude and is obviously unaware of her company's own policies. They also said they would email me the exercises for home therapy twice because of a "computer glitch" in the system that would not allow them to upload exercises to my app. That didn't happen. I was only able to get them after I spoke with an office manager over the phone later that day. I was stuck there until my transfer was approved and was able to get an appointment with the other location. It was uncomfortable. They made such a big deal of the transfer as if they took it personal mentioning every time I went for the therapy sessions. There are much better locations to go to. I would never return to this location again. read more

The ATI team at the Post Street location are incredibly nice, supportive and knowledgeable. I want to give a shout out to the Physical Therapy Team Louise, Rhea, Qun, Marbn, and a big thank you to the Techs Meg, Taylor, Gabby and Matt. All of the employees have given me support and made it fun, educational and challenging at times. The entire treat team makes my exercises fun, and challenging at times and I'm always learning something new about my 81 year old body. Went for a shoulder issue. Met with the PT on the first visit and never saw her again other than a few brief verbal exchanges. Was given excersises. I continued to do them for a month returning weekly. My shoulder got much worse, with nothing more from the PT other than stick it out. I left and went to a competitor. There I receive treatments (massage) of the muscles surrounding the injury three times per week, excersises and then electrical stimulation and heat three times per week. I feel better after even a few sessions at the competitor. read more

I started attending because of headaches. Nice location in a quiet building. I loved that the employees were not chitchatting about their personal business while checking themselves out in the mirrors and smacking gum. After filling out the extensive paperwork, I was asked even more questions. They need to get your history to find out what got you there; and how to get you out of there with no further injury. Unfortunately, it didn't work in my case. My PT woke a sleeping giant. My shoulder was so painful after pt. I let my instructor know that I was experiencing pain. He informed the manager; who asked if I mentioned my previous shoulder issue. Yes I did. I was instructed to continue, but with a lighter resistance band. The pain was so bad, I couldn't sleep on that side. I left a voicemail and email to cancel an appointment. I got no call back, nor an email to acknowledge. I sent a second email, and still no reply. I informed my doctor about my new issue. She wrote me a referral to have my shoulder worked on. Not at this place. That's too bad. I really wanted to like this place. read more

This is a top notch physical therapy clinic. My PT Rhea Casupang took time explaining to me everything I need to know before I started my therapy on my right shoulder. Gabrielle, Reina, and the rest of the PT staff were amazing. They showed professionalism and high level of care for their patients. The equipments were clean and well organized. I took my mom here for a physical therapy for her case of Tumarkin's Otholitic Crisis (fancy words for severe case of vertigo). The therapy for this is called Epley's Maneuver which induces the dizzy. After my mom's therapy today, she got really dizzy and could not walk. I heard her therapist tell her she is done and that she can sit outside the waiting area. My mom clearly stated that she is too dizzy to move, and the therapist repeated that she may have a sit in the waiting area. One, my mom is 79 years old. Two, one of the risk of having this disease is a high risk for fall. Three, I'm pretty sure all doctors take an oath stating "first do no harm". Last, I think there is a Tort law regarding negligence. Someone should have escorted my mom to sit in the holding area placing her safety at the highest level of importance. An appointment today on Wednesday the ninth at 7:30. I had a call to get the address because they said they sent me a message never got that and then when I called the facility told him that I think I'm lost. They connect me to the location I was supposed to go to. She literally told me that she was off of sunset in Fort Apache. Listen here you're not even near patchy you're off of Durango and sunset and reily Street before you hit the 215 free Freeway you're stuck in a little corner next to apartments that you could've said so she told me she was off of 40 patch so I drove over there by Southern Hills then I looked at the map really closely and literally found out where it was and all I have to say is when I showed up, they told me that I was too late because of her mistake that she told me the wrong address and then made me want to redo my appointment Do not go to this location because the employees that work there are very rude. read more

I cannot say enough how much I love this physical therapy office. My physical therapist is Louise and I have been working mostly with Rayna as my tech. I just had full knee replacement and originally went to Smith Physical Therapy Partners where it was so packed with patients that you had to stand around waiting for a tech between each exercise. At Smith (where I went for my first 3 weeks) I only saw the actual PT on the day that he evaluated me and he came and measured my bend once after that. Then they started telling me that they were too booked to get me in at all. Seriously? I just had total knee replacement. My experience here at ATI has been just the opposite. Louise the physical therapist has been hands on at every appointment. Reyna gets me through my warmup and the exercises that I already know then Louise works me through a couple new ones. Afterwards Louise massages my knee with her magic balm so I'm less sore. She has even done cupping. The exercises here make so much more sense for rebuilding my leg stability and strength. I'm definitely recommending my surgeon's office refers here in the future. read more

Been coming here for a month now for lower back pain. Xray and MRI showed lumbar stenosis. My Physical Therapist Rhea C. is very attentive and knowledgeable. They have gradually increased my activities from just stretching to now more resistive exercises. My goal is not to get rid of pain cause PT won't give you that, but to be able to understand what you can do with your body despite the pain. Everyone here is great, from the PTs to the PT aides. Bad experience with this place. *Be warned will cancel on you without prior notice or warning.* First off, as a place that accepts workers compensation insurance, the staff lacks quality when it comes to service and being attentive to ones needs. I felt like they did not prioritize my grandmother because she was a worker's comp case. The staff's lack of organization and being inconsiderate leaves me in shock. If you are referred to this place, please check your other options. My elderly grandmother was sent here and the whole process was incredibly awful. We were luckily able to switch PT centers. My appointment with ATI Physical Therapy on W Post Rd surpassed any physical therapy experience I've had both as a medical professional and a client. For some unknown reason there was no record of my appointment. The receptionist told me not to worry; she'd call my doctor's office when they opened to verify the referral. As I completed my paperwork, I noticed the same receptionist welcome patients as they entered the waiting room. She treated every patient with dignity and respect and her attitude showed she genuinely cared about each one. I only wish I remembered her name. Dave was my therapist. He was remarkable! He was extremely patient and gentle and explained the procedure every step of the way. I appreciated his professionalism and superlative skills. Pay attention to these reviews! There is a reason why this office only has one star! Unfortunately, my therapist was the office director as well (Maiesha Jackson). All I can say is she has the worst bedside manners I have EVER seen in a therapist. It's almost like she is incapable of smiling, being friendly or being respectful. I did see her chatting it up with another patient (without a smile), so I'm not sure if it was a race issue or if she was disrespecting me because of my age. I couldn't tell you. I was nothing but nice, cooperative and courteous towards her and didn't say one thing back when she made rude remarks to me. I had worked for Matt Smith PT before, so I know first hand how therapists / techs should act and treat you AND how I was treated was completely unacceptable. I had things come up after starting therapy there, so I had to postpone my follow ups for a couple weeks. Not everyone has 3 days out of their week to go to appointments, especially when they are homeschooling 4 boys.. Once I was able to start coming back, she looked at me with a death stare and said with attitude, "Erica, we haven't seen you in almost a month. How's your knee?" She clearly didn't ask because she cared, she was being smart about it.. She was kind of ok acting on my very first visit, but then started becoming bitter acting towards me as time went on, I have NO idea why. When I talked to her about what hurts and what doesn't and how my knee acts, she would look at me like I was full of it or exaggerating how I felt. I mean, obviously I'm there for a reason. Smh. I asked to have my neck added because my doctor had given me a referral for that as well. I have reversal of the cervical lordosis (I honestly couldn't remember the term when she did the initial exam because the way she looks at me and her attitude made me feel so uneasy). I explained to her that I get pain in my upper back and neck and numbness in my left arm occasionally because my neck curves the wrong way. She blankly stared at me and said, "Ok, so your neck is straight instead of having a natural curve?" I told her no, it curves the wrong way, and further explained exactly what my doctor had told me. Then she rudely said, "I have NO idea what you are talking about. I'll just have your images sent over." She said it loudly and in a way that made me feel like a complete idiot and it embarrassed me because the room was quiet (because no one there likes to build a rapport with their patients or cares to really know anything about them, so there was hardly any chatter). At the PT office I worked for there was always happy conversations going on. Anywho, I had explained it clear enough that anyone (a professional at that) could easily understand what I was talking about, I feel like she just wanted to make me feel like a moron. She asked me about the numbness I get in my arm and I had explained to her that my doctor AND my orthopedic said that the curvature could be pinching a nerve, which would cause that to happen. Again, I was met with the blank stare and she said " Well, did your images SHOW that a nerve was being pinched?" I had told her I wasn't sure, I was just repeating what my other 2 doctors had told me. I had SUCH a bad experience that I went out to my car and sat and cried. The worst part is I marked down in my paperwork that I'm currently taking medication for MAJOR anxiety issues, so she's aware of my issues and it seems like she was purposely treating me worse for it. Even when she was being snappy and short with me, I asked her if she was able to enjoy a three day weekend ( because it was Columbus Day) and she just snapped, "No, I was here! Didn't even know it was a holiday." End of conversation. Well, I had a great weekend, thanks for asking by the way. Smh. (She didn't ask). I'm writing this because I don't EVER want ANYONE to have a physical therapist, WHO IS THERE ___AND___ PAID TO MAKE YOU FEEL BETTER, make you feel anywhere close to how I felt. I felt humiliated, unwelcome and completely upset. I was already having a rough day as it was. My usually tech (I wish I knew her name because she's the sweetest thing ever) shouldn't work there. She doesn't fit in with that mess. To make matters worst, when all that happened yesterday, I had a different RUDE heavier set girl helping me. She called my name to bring me back and when I said "Hi" she just looked at me and said "follow me". She pretty much left me alone to do most of my exercises by myself instead of sitting with me to make sure I'm doing them all, and correctly, like my regular girl does. She had no smile, no personality and fit right into that miserable office. I didn't talk to the other serious looking, blank faced therapists that worked there as well. From what I had seen, they all acted tense and clearly unhappy to be there also. Not a friendly office whatsoever. read more

Go to a different location!!!! We scheduled a consultation with them a week ago, upon arriving for that appointment today they tell us there is no appointment. We attempt to show the very rude manager our 2 minute phone record showing we did make an appointment. She refuses to look and says, 'No appointment takes 2 minutes to make' as if to say we are lying. Doesn't try to squeeze us into a sooner appointment, doesn't apologize or offer any help for HER employees incompetence. My fiancé leaves and I call the manager-she again says there is nothing she can do. Not even an apology for our inconvenience, Didn't offer to see who dropped the ball in making our appointment, NOTHING. I told her she's a useless and very rude manager and I have a complaint in to corporate. You can't go around messing with people's health and life schedules like that!!!! read more

I went to this location several years ago and was very unhappy. At that time Louise this locations head or director or whatever. I asked her a question about my exercises. She told me not to bother her. She said" I have other patients with more serious problems than you, that need my attention. On my last appointment the guy who was the assistant was taking photos of me with his phone while my legs were spread. I was not going there again. My pain specialist sent me again. It has been so many years I thought Louise would be gone by now. My 1st appointment she was still there. She said you have been here before. I said yes, many years ago. She said she remember the name. I gave her my history of Mutiple Sclerosis,4 herniated discs a tear and stenosis of the lower spine. I fall often and get dizzy a lot and have a very hard time sleeping. She gave me some stretching moves and turned me over to the assistants. They showed me exercises to do and printed out the instructions to do everyday at home. I did so everyday and went there 2X's a week after the holidays because they were booked. The assistants watch everyone in the front of the room while we do the exercises. They are all nice people and try. I tried to do them right from what I remembered but often I found out sometimes a few weeks later that I was doing many wrong. The appointments went longer than needed because I had to wait at times for the assistants to get to me because they were busy with someone or their computers. I had no improvement what so ever. Louise was on vacation for 2 weeks 3 days. She never said she was leaving but when she was there she was usually working w/ a guy with a shaved head but a long piece of red dyed hair. She came back 2 days before I left. She resumed with that guy and brought him a gift of a bottle of oil for pain. She only spoke to me twice after the 1st day to ask if I was ok and was I sure. Nothing else. No mid time overview as she said. I was given 2 questioners to fill out. One after half way and one at the end. The last day I gave a copy of the MRI I had done. He gave it back to me after talking to a therapist on the floor. He said to give it to her but I never heard of her and didn't know her. He said she was the Asian girl. I was asked if wanted to extend my treatment. I said the only thing that seemed to help was probably the traction. I saw the girlright before I left but she was involved with a patient and would not look at me so I left. Never again! read more

I wanna give a shout-out to Gerald, Rhea, Louise, J.P, Alex, Nate, and Nicole! They are the therapists & physical therapist assistants I've worked with the past year at this location. I was in a horrific car accident and was in a wheelchair. I didn't know what to expect coming in, or whether I was ever gonna walk the same again. With their best help, I'm now able to walk normally & completely by myself again. They fs know what they're doing and are very knowledgeable. They are also super uplifting and push me past my limits for the better. I love them, they do such a great job at what they do. read more

My son has been referred for PT and it was impossible to schedule him because they would never submitted the paperwork correctly. When he finally got services, and needed additional sessions- recommended by his doctor, He only had a total of 5 sessions , I was told by the therapist " since he hasn't made mush improvements, we recommend for him to continue his therapy at home or choose another location, we are a limited basic therapy. Isn't that the purpose of going to therapy , to improve . I asked to speak to the manager, as I never heard of a clinic turning you down for not making " much improvement" usually they want your business. The manager was just as rude, he stated " IF YOU FEEL your son needs therapy, ask your doctor for a prescription" . Obvious the doctor feels he needs it, reason why a referral was given. Don't wast your time. Check other options. This place lacks customer service skiils, organization and are inconsiderate ......I have to select one star in order to post. .......no starts. read more

The services I received a few years was great. However, I had a referral recently and before I phoned them, they called and left me a message. When I returned the call, I was told they didn't have a referral from me and no record of a call and that yes, they did have someone there matching the name the caller had left. I read her the message back and she denied my message asking if I wanted to make an appointment. She was rude in repeatedly denying the message. We went back and forth for a while then I informed I did not have he confidence of expecting competent service and declined to make an appointment. I informed her that while I had used their services in the past, her indirectly calling me a liar and their poor record keeping did not give me the confidence to make the appointment at this time. read more

Horrible location. My initial consultation was with a PT. She passed me on to an assistant who told me which exercises to do. I did these unsupervised. No work with the therapist. Second appointment was directly with the assistant. Again, given exercises and was left unsupervised. After 20 minutes of exercises I was already doing at home, I was told I was finished. I asked if I was going to see the therapist. She came over and said she could stretch me if I wanted. After a mishap on my part at home, I called to cancel my next appt. and asked for the therapist to call me so that I could get some guidance on what to do next. She never called. When I called to get my paperwork transferred to another PT company, I asked to speak to the clinic director. When I voiced my concerns, her response was "ok". This is the worst Physical Therapy office I have ever been to. From office staff to therapists, horrible experience. read more

This place is a joke. Don't even waste your time. Had an appointment which was over a week out kind of long but went ahead and scheduled it anyway. Ended up in the hospital with a life threatening emergency...my fault. Had to wait yet another week for another appointment. That appointment was today at 8 am. Hey called me at 7:20 am to inform me that the doctor had a family emergency and had to wipe all of his appointments today. I am still waiting for my initial visit. If I had already been seen it would be different. So anyway they tell me it's going to be yet another week to get in. It's not my fault the doctor had to wipe his appointments. I just feel that since it's my initial visit that they could squeeze me in. I was in an accident 3 weeks ago and still haven't been seen. Very unprofessional when they relay all this negative info to you as well. Would not recommend them for pet therapy let alone myself. read more
