This woman is an unethical sociopathic thief! I went to her business for a second opinion on a crown thinking that (advertising) she supposedly used more natural products for crowns and she insisted I needed a second crown. My mistake was trusting her and not going back to my original dentist who insisted I did NOT need the second crown. She brutally destroyed both teeth so she could crown them, gave me extra injections of a numbing drug I did not need and I bled for days, had to go back in for care, because of bleeding and my left check was numb for days and then she sneakily put in my records that I was allergic to this drug she had overused. Went to this dentist knowing my insurance would only pay half the cost and told hygienist just wanted cleaning and exam. I hadn't been to a dentist in a while due to other pressing health issues and was hoping not to get embarrassed by the staff. I have always taken good care of my teeth. The hygienist was rude appearing impatient and intolerant. Told me I was to have deep cleaning but didn't discuss cost so didn't present options- didn't tell me it would be an additional cost of 260.00! Dentist very unfriendly informing me that I needed a tooth extracted, suggested implant (about $7.000.00 out of pocket) and a root canal. Told me I appeared to have had "a lot of dental work","needed nothing else, I was "boring". All staff appeared very snobby, communication extremely poor and I ended up leaving with a total bill of $359.00 which included $99.00 towards my next appointment in 3 months (instead of 6 months) cash right then! I'm 74 years old on a fixed lower income and not prepared for that cost! Saw another dentist later who said only needed a filling in one tooth. Beware! Came in with an infected tooth that needed a root canal. I paid up front for half of each visit to the tune of roughly $5k and had to sign an agreement that absolved them of any wrongdoing if anything went wrong. Well, it did. After the root canal I had pain in the area and bleeding, which I chalked up to having a root canal. Went back to the Harwich office for a cleaning where they discovered the tooth directly next to the one, they did the root canal on had been cracked. When I suggested that it was a strange coincidence that the pain started right after the root canal, she insisted that since covid people have been grinding their teeth much more. What? It's December 2024. I now have a cracked tooth and no recourse from these dishonest thieves. Every time you go in, they make up another reason to go back. There were so many negative reviews many from patients from the Natick office. There are now 3 offices; one in Natick, one in Harwich, and one in Eastham. The two Cape offices were purchased as a package from a single retiring dentist within the last 2-3 months. This information was from the Hygienist who treated me so I believe it to be accurate. I alway pump employees to get necessary information when I can. So after this pre-payment no refund policy and giving them $260 or thereabouts, I spent close to 2 hours at the office. Waited a bit in waiting room, lots and lots of seating. Then meeting the hygienist and she asked if I was here for the $99 special. I said I did not think so since I paid significantly more money. She checked with front desk because I said I would try and get my records from my former dental practice which was now without a dentist- Mondovi Dental, so I could avoid duplicate X-rays. This office claimed they had tried to get records for other transferring patients and were unable to do so. So much for HIPA regulations. Since I had already pre-paid for new sets of x-rays and pictures, I figured what the hell and maybe I would be reimbursed by my BCBS dental insurance. The hygienist did a reasonably thorough job cleaning and measuring but never sharing her findings with me?? I know they are probably not supposed to but often they will as they move along in the process. She did not. Other dentists and hygienist have ALWAYS told me I have very good work in my mouth and that my home care was excellent. Not here! Said nothing but dentist said nice gold inlays-thats it! I also decided to check reviews further. The reviews for the Natick office and this office were horrible! Could not believe how bad they were and I am not even criticizing the work done as I will not proceed under any circumstances. Finally the dentist came in for about 3 minutes after me waiting in chair for 20+. Quickly she said "she was going to remove a filling and replace with a crown". Never discussion of options and I already new this tooth could be a problem but other professionals said wait since there was no pain at all and there never had been. Then she said once she replaced this tooth, she would discuss other issues. What are you kidding?? Take your money little by little with no idea of what lies ahead. I went to checkout and asked about insurance. I was told they were not in network with my insurance after telling me on phone when I gave them a deposit that I could file myself and never saying, "I could file myself but likely they wouldn't pay!" So they used the entire prepayment for generally unnecessary X-Rays and pictures and a conclusion that I had to have the crown made plus an estimate of that procedure of nearly $3000. I know generally crowns are not covered by insurance anyway but in that case they should make the cost in keeping with an older patient base, the Cape is home to many seniors on fixed income. It is not the suburbs of Boston. Eastham is even more likely to have even older residents. So my conclusions, the technical skills are probably decent based on the level of education but the business practice severely lacking. Communication is just awful and I can't even begin to tell you how I felt abused and do not like being taken advantage of. Needless to say, buyer beware! Unacceptable so I will not return and only hope I can retain the x-rays and pictures on a disk to present to another dentist when I find one. read more

This place is now called Cape Cod Dental Group, bought by Dr. Chang. I moved for NH just before COVID and needed a new dentist. Went for a cleaning and the hygienist was wonderful. I was told I needed a tooth capped, which I knew from my previous dentist in NH who had been telling me for a couple years that I needed it. I finally decided to get it done and Dr. Chang was great, the procedure went smoothly and my mouth feels great. I will be back. Found my new dentist. read more

I have a 16 year old daughter with autism who needed a cavity filled and was sent to Dental Arts Studio because they do sedation dentistry. The gas they gave her did not work so they could not do the procedure. They charged me almost 600.00 and would not refund any of my money. All they care about is the money not the patient. My Father is an Army Veteran. He was in severe pain for over a week. We couldn't get an appointment anywhere. We got an appointment of Cape at A Dentist , they day of the appointment Dentist cancelled on us. I was at my wits end and It was a Holiday. I didn't know what to do. We had already been to the hospital twice and the medical center once. I did a search online for emergency dentist and found Cape Cod Dental group. I called and got an appointment 4 hrs later. My father was really nervous to go to the dentist. His uncle died in the dentist. Dr Romina sensitive to my Fathers needs. She was patient and very nice! She has a great personality! She pulled my fathers tooth! He instantly felt better. I would highly recommend Dr Romina!! Everyone in the office was super nice. The office was very comfortable and relaxing. We are Scheduled to go back have 6 more teeth pulled then get lower dentures. We couldn't have asked for a better experience. read more
