We spent a very enjoyable hour here hitting balls in the batting cages and racing go karts. It is a huge campus that also has a driving range and an indoor area with bowling and an arcade that felt a bit like the inside of a casino. There were tons of people there when we went but it still didn't feel crowded. The batting cages were fun, but several did not work and it was very unclear if the helmets had ever been cleaned. Took the grand kids here ( ages 2,5,11,12, and 18) on a recent Saturday. What a great place for kids (and adults)! Place is huge with ample parking. Staff was young but helpful. It was raining so we couldn't do the mini-golf or go-carts. There is also a huge jungle gym & driving range. Inside had an approx. 20 lane bowling alley and a large selection of modern day video games ( including VR types). I say "modern day" since you won't find any classics like Pac-Mac or Donkey Kong. I didn't see pinball either but there might have been. No coins or tokens here. Load up a player's card with $, and each game is $1-4. Gain points on your card as you play and cash them in for prizes at the counter. I see they do run specials depending on the day of the week. IMO a great place. read more

Wow! Pleasantly surprised! It was a fun place for all family! Great height restrictions. My littles got to do quite a bit! The arcade did have a couple machines that weren't working properly and they did not compensate for lost money which is why it's only 4 stars. The go carts made up for it though!! Of course I did not particularly expect excellence of this place, as it seems to be managed by teenagers and imbeciles. Go Karts were poorly operated and actually quite filthy. I came away with a brutal headache and with hands and clothes that smelled STRONGLY of gas, to the point where I got in a car with a few friends later that night and they mentioned how overpowering the scent was. Staff and administration did nothing to prevent a group of three obnoxious individuals from brutally and intentionally ramming my entire group. The vehicles would slow drastically while a car was recovering from a crash, yet for some reason, certain cars kept going at quite a fast pace. When we came away, four out of the five who participated in the race had migraines, whiplash, and one is likely concussed and will be going to the hospital as a result. Never returning to this death trap. You need to be shut down. This is a public hazard marketed as a fun environment for children and families. Do not bring your family here unless you want them DEAD. read more

Visited this place last week on vacation. Sad to say we did not have a great experience. There are only a handful of places to mini golf in Morehead City area so naturally we tried this place out. To begin with, the staff were not welcoming and almost seemed sorry that we came in (maybe hoping to get to close up early?) Then we had to walk around the world just to get to the start of the course and there were no signs pointing where to go - we just kept walking around until we found the gate in the fence. When we finally started playing, we all stopped and looked at each other and asked, "Why is it so dark??" We looked around and over half the overhead spotlights were out! Visibility was crap and we had to use our cell phone lights to help supplement the bit of light that we did have. When we asked staff about this issue, they said the lights had been out for weeks and just weren't fixed yet. So you're running a business where most people come in the evenings and your lights have been out for weeks? Doesn't make a lot of sense... Not only that, but it costed $8 per person to play this course! I will say that the course had a lot of cool elements with a cave and lots of water around. Several of the holes were fairly interesting and challenging and would have been quite fun to play if we had SOME LIGHT. My suggestion would be to drive a little further and check out Saltys Caddy Shack Mini Golf. Great course and a much, MUCH better experience! Holes were very boring. You could get a hole in one on every hole. Not designed very creatively. Also, it was very very dark. Some lights were broken making it very hard to see where you were putting. The barriers were very small around the outside so you couldn't use them to bounce off of (not that you needed to all the holes were a straight shot). read more

I have mixed feelings about good 'ol GD. I love the putt putt course, it's more exciting than the ones you find off the coast. There is actually landscaping unlike the boring flat courses. Unless there are like laser lights and spaceships at the putt putt courses in DC, I don't really know what the reviewer below is talking about....the course design trumps any of the ones I've been to in Western NC. Anyway, I digress. They have plenty to keep you entertained for a few hours as well. Bumper boats, water balloon fights, batting cages and a driving range. Of course, it can be a bit pricey if you decide to do all this, but if you're on vacation and have some cash to spend, this is a nice place. Mac Daddys is next door, so you're steps away from a decent sized arcade and bar with typical bar food. The hot wings and fries are pretty good! They've always got pitchers on special too. Now here's the one big downside: Management is super anal and will watch your every move on the course. It's a bit unnerving but I imagine they have some rowdiness go on with all the marines who frequent this place. All-in-all I'd say if you're on a vacation with kids, this is a good place to come wear them out. If you're in your late teens or 20's, Mac Daddy's is a good place to grab a pitcher of shitty beer, play some arcade games or a round of bowling, and then go drive go-karts. read more

i am rating this 4/5 because i went with 6 other people and the course is 18 holes. the #2 hole could also be the #16 hole they didn't get harder but some were harder than others. it took about an hour to and hour and a half. it's about 8$ per person. we all had a lot of fun i definitely would go back. read more

Took my two year old son for his first mini golf adventure. I, along with my wife and in laws, participated. The prices are a bit high at $8 per adult and I feel this way because it's nothing special here. No windmills or trick style shots. All simple flat type holes, with course deformities for hills and rocks, but nothing over the top. Now while this was a good course for a 2 year old, not so much for the adults. A nice place to go with the kids for a nice game of 18-hole mini golf with a little challenge. It was challenging enough for all of us to play but fun enough for my 3 year old to play with little assistance correctly. This place does offer a military discount (originally we were going to pay $31) for 3 kids & 2 adults and I just asked if discounts were offered for Military, the clerk was like "oh yes sure do" and when I showed the ID we paid $26. I wish there were more paths to take so that you have the option to take a more challenging path or just a different route when there are too many people. We spent more time waiting got one family to get done before our turn and then had the rowdy group of teenagers waiting behind us lol. It's a nice place to use the driving range as my husband and I used to visit often before we had kids and it conveniently located within the MacDaddy complex so you can eat and do arcade if you want to make a whole day visit. read more

If I could give zero stars on customer service, I would. Both Jenny and Steve were EXTREMELY rude to me over the phone. I called before a few weeks ago and Jenny was rude to me then as well--FOR NO REASON AT ALL! I am a very polite person and there was no need for them to talk to me the way they did! I have never been to Golfin Dolphin- and now, because of the unessecary attitude, I NEVER WILL! Not only that, I will make sure to let everyone know how horrible they are.
