It was my first visit to the Falmouth location. I called from the parking lot 15 minutes before my appointment not knowing where to park. After receiving poor instructions, I called again from inside the building 5 minutes before my appointment. I spoke to the front desk person twice. But, I was 4 minutes late. After waiting for over 30 minutes, I was told I would have to wait until after the lunch break to see if the doctor could squeeze me in. I replied that I was 4 minutes late and I called twice. The receptionist told me, "it was actually, like, 6 minutes". Now in tears in their waiting room with lots of expectant new moms, I sat embarrassed (because yes, the 20-something receptionist scolded me by yelling across the waiting area from her desk) and terrified because I was not there for a routine visit. I am in my late forties, professional, mother...and because this is one of the few offerings on Cape Cod I stuck with them. Shame on me. I'm writing this review in the event that anyone out there is looking. You will be FAR better served by locating a doctor through the Brigham (Boston or satellite offices closer to the Cape) than by the individuals at this practice/factory who care so little about their patients it is alarming.

I realize this is not going to be a normal yelp review, seeing that many people do not review their OBGYN, but I am over 30min. early, and I like this OBGYN office and think they deserve a 5-star review! I don't know how long Dr. Gregory Chu has been practicing, but it's been over 26 years (because he delivered me and that is how old I am). My mom and sisters all see him. I probably would not have chosen to see a male OBGYN if my mom had not highly recommended him. Dr. Chu is friendly, and makes annual appointments quick and painless. This is not something people look forward to, but I think this is as good as it gets lol. Just a note, the office is small and not super Modern, but do not let that fool you. I got lost finding the office the first time I came here, so anyone new will probably do the same thing. You do not need a big fancy place to hold this profession... Just a good Doctor, and Dr. Gregory Chu is. I drive two hours (once a year) to keep him my Doctor.

I can honestly say that Dr. H is extremely professional yet personable. His explanations in matters of procedures are clear, thorough and articulate. The only downside to that is because of this you may have a lengthy time in the waiting room. Personally, I would rather wait longer and receive top quality care. He was finally the 5th doctor I met with who could get this fragment out!! The first surgery with a dif doctor had complications and had to go in laparoscopic. Dr. Atkins did the surgery months later in under half hour. I was in and out of the hospital in a few hours. So thankful for getting referred to him. He was very knowledgeable and confident and made me feel comfortable the whole time. I can't thank him enough! So thankful my nightmare IUD experience that has been going on for 8 months is over thanks to Dr. Atkins!
