Now in the garage my speed is about 982 Mbps. AMAZING. It's not just that. he cleaned up all of my wires, tying them together, and it was like better than before he was here. I started to tell him about my issues and immediately he just started telling me what the problems could be and offering solutions, although I really wanted to bring it to him to fix it. I asked if I could bring it over and without hesitation he said yes. I immediately left for his office and when I got there he stopped what he was doing to work on my computer. He figured out why it wasn't booting up, then he figured out what was making a ticking sound and repaired it, then fixed a popup error message that always popped up every time I shut down the computer. Then he changed a lot of programs from automatically initializing at start up which caused it to take forever to start up. After just 1 hour my computer now starts up faster, no more clicking noise, and no more annoying popup when I shut down. Awesome service!

James clearly knows what he is doing and takes a lot of pride in doing his install the neatest way possible. We had a TV and sound bar mounted above our fireplace. The smallest hole was made in order to fish new wires and cables. We now have 4k high definition picture on our TV and we also installed a CAT6 ethernet cable behind the wall to our modem in the basement. This was a tough job but HTX was able to help us. When you know you need an expert, your average installer from a TV store is not going to spend the time to do things to your specifications. HTX is the perfect solution for that niche customer who doesn't have a six-figure home theater, but needs an expert a/v installer that has the skills to do things right. Went here to get my desktop computer repaired. It was powering on but not showing video. He…read moreclaimed that it was either the CPU or the Motherboard. Pretty much just guessing and without proper diagnosing. If I come to you as a paying customer I expect you to do your job and tell me what the EXACT issue is, not just assume its the most expensive components of the computer without doing proper troubleshooting. Typically with something like this you would start with changing out the RAM and seeing if anything changes. Both CPU and Motherboard were still under warranty so I replaced those parts and brought them to him to install. He then claimed one of my ram sticks were bad ( which I believe to be the issue all along). For whatever reason he wiped out both of my hard drives on my computer. Without even informing me. One of which had 2 tb of storage. Completely unacceptable. When I brought him the last part I stated to him that I needed windows installed. ( If he was actually legit he would have known that windows was already installed on the M2 drive). Esentially I paid $300.00 and supplied parts for something minor (bad ram). At no point was he clear or communicated the EXACT issue, cost, or anything. I explained to him even if his rate was 75hr he did not spend 4 hours to install 2 parts wipe out my drive and install windows, but he was adamant that this was $300.00 of work. I called him after getting home and hooking up the computer to ask why my hard drives were erased, he played dumb and claimed that he informed me that they would be (Also a lie) and to unplug and plug them back up. I do not find him to be honest or do good business, and I urge people to take their business elsewhere.
