My daughter (20)went to this salon for a haircut on her very long hair. Her hair was cut by Christina. When her hair was getting cut the hairdresser was told she had another client in 15 minutes. At that point my daughter felt this hairdresser was very rushed . She never showed my daughter what the back of her hair looked like so she didn't see it till she got home. She was DEVASTATED to say the least. She did not want to go back to have the same women who completely botched her hair fix it. She finally got up the courage today to call and speak to the receptionist. The person who answered came off as uncaring and literally said " what do you want me to do?". The correct response should have been "I'm so sorry what can we do to make it right?" She did however give the owners email and name to contact. She paid $50 and gave a $10 tip because she's in the service Industry and felt obligated. To fix her hair several more inches had to be cut off. I'm sure she won't get her money back (she never asked for it back) but this hairdresser really messed up and the owners need to be aware. We will be contacting the owner as well. read more

I don't like leaving negative reviews but I just wanted to say when Christina cut and styled my hair last month it was so bad, I was embarrased even to be seen in my car. I wore a hat until I had it fixed the next day by someone else at a different salon whom I was very pleased with. Like the review before me, I was not shown the back of my hair and it had looked as though she gathered my hair in a ponytail and cut it straight across. I'm sorry Christina, as much as I like you, it was a very bad cut. I'm giving two stars because you're a good person but need to polish up on those blending skills. read more

I was able to get an appointment the same day they were very flexible with offering me a time slot. I love the products that they use our chemical free, all natural! All of the employees seem to really enjoy working with each other which then creates a very friendly environment that customers can feel. My haircut was great. Customer service from the manager is unreal. Clearly this place, although a good looking salon, has no customer service skills. Whatever you do, don't get a balayage here and don't bother complaining or giving any feedback to the "manager" because your comments will not be heard. The place seems catty also. Travis is incredible. I was so nervous about my hair. I used to have really tight curls, but chemo ten years ago changed my hair, so I considering perming it to try to get my old look back. I showed Travis a picture of what my hair had been like, and he took care of the rest. I was also chopping most of it off, which I haven't done since chemo. Travis was very patient, encouraging, made the time to make sure I felt as comfortable as possible. Cutting away a decade's worth of hair was a shock, more than I thought it would be. After the shock wore off, the only thing I regretted was not doing it sooner. (Well that, and since I was still processing immediately after, I needed time to take it in, so I didn't convey how great it looked. Travis you're awesome!) Travis restored what my hair had been, and what I had missed, and it looks better than I think it ever has. The experience was "everything" from the first consultation to working with him to the final results. I will definitely be back and cannot recommend him enough! read more

I am very sad to give this review. I went to this salon because of a advertised free shellac manicure with a pedicure, the staff was super nice and the salon has a great atmosphere. My pedicure was top notch but my manicure was ok at best. It is a week later and the shellac has already chipped and is peeling from the corners of my nails where she did not paint. I also asked her to pay attention to my cuticles and she did not as they look awful. I am going to get my nails re-done today exactly one week later. Sad day.. :-( read more

Got an ombre done with a cut and blow dry. Ombre is more copper than blonde (darn natural hair) but it still looks great. reasonable pricing. Hair stylist Kylie was great! I'll definitely be coming back. It's worth the 45 minute drive. read more

I had the best experience today with this Salon! I walked in without an appointment and they were still able to get me in right away! I usually dread going to get a haircut because it never comes out the way I want it to but not this time. Lois was amazing throughout the entire process. She explained every product that she was using when washing and styling my hair. They all smelled amazing BTW. I loved the way my hair looked which never happens so I was thrilled. The entire visit was great everyone there is so upbeat and nice. I was talking and laughing with everyone the entire time. Saw Heather today for the first time (also my first time to the salon ) and it was awesome! She was incredibly sweet, friendly, and knew how to work my mop. I have naturally curly but fine hair. In no time at all I had an amazing haircut, a gorgeous color, and the exact style I wanted for the family photos we took after. She is the first person in history to blow dry my hair straight without it being a frizzy mess. To top it off, you cannot beat the price and location. I am thrilled to have found a salon and stylist 5 minutes from home. ... no more driving to Denver or Boulder. Yay! I haven't been this happy with a salon experience in 10 years and that was in San Francisco. You must give this salon a try! I was in town this past weekend for a wedding and I booked an appointment before I left with Lois to do my hair and makeup for the event. I was a little nervous since I was obviously not familiar with Lois or the salon (I chose it based on Yelp reviews). Lois was great. I was afraid that she might not do exactly as I asked her to, as many stylists have done that to me in the past, but it turned out just like I had pictured. And she was super nice and easy to talk to, so I feel like we had a good conversation to boot. She was also really fast, as she finished both my hair and makeup in an hour. In my search for a new salon I came across Capelli, and saw all the great reviews. So I gave it a try and wasn't disappointed. My appointment was with Michelle, I had very long and thick hair that I was just tired of. She has this amazing amount of knowledge and not only gave me what I was hoping for but she brought back the natural curl in my hair that I haven't seen in years. And after she taught me how to do it myself at home! I was so excited that I not only found a new place to go close to home but found a great person to go to. I referred my mother who has very very thin hair, Michelle made my mom look like my mom again. But today my mom went in to get her fixed because of a mess up in someone else coloring her hair. They worked with her to get her in today, and took very good care of her. She is so personable and has a great balance of listening to what I want and making great suggestions that leave my hair looking amazing! Everybody that works in Capelli Salon are super nice and friendly, have no complaints about that, unless you have already payed them. I went there to get an overall color, I have natural brown hair with copper touch, I requested one shade lighter than my color and I left the place with BLACK HAIR!!!! I am a good costumer and I didn't make a big deal, the girl that did my hair offer to fix it when I got back from my vacation with my INLAWS , you can imagine how awful it was for me, I was hiding from the cameras all the time :( I called them two weeks later (that's how long I was gone) and it took a while for the owner to call me. After setting an appointment to fix what THEY did wrong, she called again and started giving me excuses. You truly are better off buying some color and doing it yourself. So now I have to figure out how to get rid of this color and pay more than the 140 i payed this place. Very disappointed and will for sure never go back. Good luck read more

I walked in to get my roots colored but Autumn recomended a different shade of color because it "fit my style better," and i love it! She also trimmed and thinned my hair a bit to get rid of the dead hair and now im able to style it the way i want. She has been the best person I've gone to to color my hair. She's definitely my go to girl from now on. I also love the atmosphere, the modern feeling, and the little chandeliers hanging from the ceiling. read more

I've been going to my stylist for many years so unfortunately, I don't go to Capelli for my hair. However, I come to Capelli for my product and I didn't think much of it until I had an issue. I was so impressed by the amazing customer service the salon provided to ensure I was satisfied with my product. They were out of the product I typically use so I tried something new. After one wash, I knew it did not work well for me. I emailed the salon to ask if I had any options and I received a reply so quickly stating they want to make sure I was happy with my product and would be happy to exchange it for me. She noted that the one I wanted was still out of stock but would place an order and should have it in a few days. A few days later, she emailed me again to let me know it was available. I went in today and they were so nice. Incredible customer service that is sometimes not as common these days. If you're looking for a salon, I would highly recommend this salon.
