Suspect this location could be crowded during peak season...only one other camper during stay. Most sites will accommodate a long wheelbase Sprinter or the like...just mark yourself as a tent. Sites are spacious, clean and have some separation. Only two showers (hot and decent pressure); a men's and a women's. Plenty of clean flush toilets. Would like to comment on trails, as there are miles to hike, but weather dampened any chance. Martin's grocery store close by. Bring an axe if using campground's firewood...needs to be split down to smaller size to maintain good burn.

We were at site #14 right on the creek than runs through campground. They have a sweet deal if your local for seasonal use. We were from out of town, not full time RV but travel throughout US six months out of the year. If you go here don't forget to get some of the fresh fruit and tomatoes in season. We got huge heirloom tomatoes for 3 for $1. Unbelievable, they were so good. Reasonably priced, we paid $49 a night! Sell good dry firewood too!

The positives of this place is the staff was overall very friendly, the water park was awesome and it was very quick to get here from DC. The downsides was that it is fairly pricey, the store is incredibly limited, and overall it feels a lot more dated than the Bedford location. Also, food is incredibly limited. We ended up ordering on Uber Eats since this Yogi Bear didn't offer dinner service and their pizza ovens stopped working. It was late in the season though.

I enjoyed the water park amenities for the kids although I did not love that all the staff went to…read morethe bathroom at the same time and all the kids had to be removed from the water, for younger kids this is extremely disruptive. My room had a wide range of issues which did hinder my trip and made the high price for my cabin non justifiable. The main office was closed and called back the next day which was not ideal. The events were not always timely for instance the advertised pool party didn't start getting setup until 15 minutes after advertised and it was indeed not a party. Lastly the canteen was inexcusably inefficient for grabbing a meal by the pool. You had to wait in line for 45+ minutes and then were quoted an additional 1+ hour until you would get your food. In all this park has so much potential to be better. But if cabins are not up to par, guests should be contacted in advance or given a remedy.

A bit of a mixed bag for me at Cunningham Falls…read more.. I was excited to find a listing of parks that supposedly had wheelchair accessible trails. I've never been to Cunningham Falls before and the idea of seeing a waterfall seemed lovely. However, the accessible boardwalk has strips on pretty much everything board which made me feel like I was riding a very angry horse. Each bump shot pain up my spine. I'm writing this a day later and I still hurt, and I think I'm a pretty tough chick... and the view of the falls was mostly blocked and not worth the actual pain. The Falls is more like a small stream of water that splashes down some rocks. It's a soothing noise but I was expecting something more grandiose... I suppose I could blame climate change. Most of the old stream beds are dry. We also checked out the "south beach" which I enjoyed. There's plenty of pavement, and packed gravel. I couldn't get close to the water, but that's okay because it was a sunny day and I prefer to stick to the shade. I was impressed by the fact that every picnic table has a grill nearby. If I lived closer I'd like to think I'd come to the south beach often, hide in the trees near the river, grill something delicious... but I was a several hours long trip from Dundalk, so it's unlikely that I'll return. It was a nice day-trip though. I don't regret going.

But the real focus is on the show. It was such a cute show with many talents such as singing, dancing, and even aerial! There was also food which was also yummy. The food was portioned well too! The show is new every year so I think we'll be back in 2025! Highly recommend!

Once a week on Tuesdays they send around a service that pumps it out for you. They have water and electric to each site except the tent sites. The bath houses are cleaned everyday and are in good working condition. My only complaint is the non functioning laundry room but there is a laundromat within a mile of the campground. The staff is friendly and helpful and the store is fully stocked with all campers may need and then some. When touring Washington DC and all the battlefields this place is centrally located. We stayed a month and still didn't see it all. We'll be staying here again when in the area.

I am about to remodel my house and staying in my trailer for 2-3 months made more sense than a…read morehotel. I also thought Leathermans would be a convenient and pleasant spot. And I was wrong. I called to make arrangements and was told that I needed to submit an application that is reviewed and approved by the owner before I can rent a site. I asked what was on the application. Apparently they need to know your salary, prior criminal record and other stuff that is NONE OF THEIR BUSINESS. As a retired LEO, I have no criminal record. But even if I did, nobody should have to qualify for a security clearance to rent a damn camping site!

Has the coolest set up for corn hole and ping pong. I was cooking my brother in ping pong so bad he just left me there. There's a nice playground that is good for swinging. Close to lots of cool Gettysburg experiences near by. All the people here are chill and nice to talk to. I caught one massive crawdaddy. I was so busy having fun and doing activities I forgot to drink water and my pee became very yellow. Best campground in the area.

I would like to rant about the immaculate, air conditioned bath house...just lovely! Nice and clean and well maintained. The best bath house we have seen on our road trip. There's a cool creek next to the campground. They have a really nice playground for the children and a large seating area next to it. All lit up at night with beautiful string lights. Mini golf spot, arcade games room, nice pool, cabins to rent and let's talk about their camping store...it had everything you could possibly want in there! And I'm not joking! From camping stuff to little swimmers for toddlers and Gettysburg merch. Just everything! BONUS - they have an ice cream parlor! Ahhhh! Good selection of flavours with your choice of a waffle/sugar cone or cup. Deeeelightful! Staff are so friendly and John (I think that's his name) is hilarious! We felt so welcomed. Thank you. Overall, this is a campground that has everything you need. If I could give this place a ten, I would. We'll be back next year.
