If I could give more stars, I would. I highly recommend going to Crofton Physical Therapy for your…read morephysical therapy needs. I went to them a few years ago and when my lower back recently started having issues I decided it was easier to go back to them than find a new place. So glad I did! Vince and Chris are terrific and both give great massages! They are really personable and know how to make you feel comfortable, even when some of the exercises/massages can seem a bit awkward. All the office and support staff are really friendly and they all take proper COVID precautions for everyone's safety. I worked primarily with Chris and he is extremely knowledgeable and full of optimism and smiles. He took the time to explain to me what my issue was and even showed me with a spine model what was happening to cause my pain. I'm a visual learner so that really helped my understanding. He walked me through each exercise and made sure that I was aware of which muscles groups should be engaged for each and what those muscles feel like when engaged. (I now know what transverse abdominals are and mine are no longer lazy couch potatoes!) Without that insight, I would have been doing the exercises incorrectly and not gotten the most out of my PT experience. Within a few weeks I noticed a difference in my lower back pain and after two months I am pain free. I am extremely satisfied with my experience. Disclaimer: I recovered quicker because I actually did the exercises at home like Chris told me to do and not just at the appointments. Following Chris' instructions helped my body recover quicker and the necessary muscles to get stronger each day to correct my lower back issues. At Crofton Physical Therapy I was able to accomplish what I came in for. They made me feel like a person and not a name on a calendar. The light and friendly atmosphere often made me forget I had a mask on. I will continue to come back to them for my physical therapy needs in the future. I highly recommend you give them a try.

She is very positive and bubbly and always very encouraging, even when I'm unsure about a new exercise. She is very good at meeting you at your current level but also pushing you to make progress. She is informative, provides good feedback, and is very supportive. In just 2 months I have noticed increased strength, flexibility, and balance in myself and I'm happy to say my back pain is almost completely gone. I highly recommend working with Dr. Sam!

They explain things thoroughly and make you feel super comfortable, no matter what you are dealing with. I love the environment as well. It's very welcoming and cheerful and so much nicer than being in some sort of hospital like, clinical environment. They are off the beaten path though. However, they are absolutely worth checking out!

I am updating the review because the office manager called me and rectified the surprise-billing…read moresituation and even refunded my son, I am very thankful for her. The accounts receivable staff employee had a problem properly informing patients, my son ASKED numerous times about it before he started and after he started and he got blown off, he really did, and did not receive anything but an unitemized bill via email for $1,000+ WEEKS later, newly out-of-network, my son was left uninformed after repeatedly asking and getting surprise billing w/out itemized bill, that's pretty terrible, and accounts receivable staff employee had a hostility that my son couldn't work with and that's when I got involved for him. I was very unhappy w/dealing with the accounts receivable staff employee at Break Away, she was smarmy, had a nasty attitude, like you could hear her rolling her eyes over the phone kinda character, she was not truthful about what she didn't do, and it was infuriating - she told me, all attitudey, that she sent my son itemized bill like my son was wrong, when I inquired w/my son about it, he double-checked and she did not do that until I left unfavorable review.. the office manager called me and told me how she realized it was unacceptable to be charged like my son had been and refunded. If you have a problem, contact the office manager. but that staff accounts receivable employee needs some schooling because she was 1) hard to contact 2) unapproachable and 3) untruthful, patients don't want that, they don't need that, thank goodness for the office manager. I did find the out-of-network cost for Break Away to be ridiculously expensive though...
