I'm doing a long day of training for a new job I'm starting next door so I thought I'd check out Capital One Cafe. I love the vibes here aestetically and with it being next door, I may need to make it my new hangout spot for work breaks. It's not overly busy, very clean and there is soooo much space so there's plenty of options on where to sit! I got a small honey lavender latte and it was amazing!! Very high quality tasting coffee with the perfect amount of flavor which isn't always easy to accomplish on floral drinks so props to the barista on that! I also had avocado toast with sliced boiled egg added.. it was okay but a bit too salty for my personal taste and it fell apart easily after taking a bite unfortunately and the egg just went all over the table. That was a little disappointing since i just spent a little over $20 for a small latte and a piece of toast with avocado, seasoning and a boiled egg but I'm open to giving the food here another try, I'll just get something completely different like a sandwich next time to go with my coffee. The cashier didn't seem that friendly as she didn't smile and gave me a kind of odd look during and after I ordered but aside from that and the overpriced salty avocado toast, it was a good experience. I'm not a capital one card holder currently but i may just open up a debit card with them as capital one card holders can get half off their coffee which is a pretty sweet deal for coffee in a bougie area such as this one! I love coming to the Capital One Café in Bellevue for a productive morning. It's such a bright, open space, though it can get pretty crowded with people working, so you have to be quick to snag a table! Cherry Vanilla Matcha Latte: This was such a unique find! I'm usually a matcha purist, but the matcha flavor was very rich and authentic. Adding the cherry vanilla gave it a nice subtle sweetness and a floral note that paired surprisingly well with the earthy tea. I also grabbed a breakfast sandwich, and it was the perfect fuel for a long study/work session. It was served warm, and the quality was much better than your average "bank cafe" food. The biggest perk is definitely the 50% discount for Capital One cardholders. Getting a high-quality matcha latte for half price in downtown Bellevue is an unbeatable deal. read more

Went in on a weekday to study with a friend, the space is really big and they have a ton of tables inside for working. I love how they also have meeting rooms that can be reserved in advanced, along with ones specifically for students and non-profit orgs. And of course they have bank services available as well. Capital One card holders also get 50% off drinks. Came to get matcha, but they were out of matcha, so I had to opt for coffee instead. I really liked the iced cherry mocha I got, it was a spring seasonal drink. Drink's a bit on the sweet side, but it was strong. Food's more of the breakfast/grab-and-go style, not the place to go if you're looking for solid lunch options. I'd recommend it as more of a brunch/drink spot to work at. I've always wondered who is going to need that until I did, it's a fantastic idea. Plenty of tables to find a workspace, either downstairs or upstairs. They even have closed off mini offices, but I assume you have to reserve those? At least all of them were taken the complete time I was there. The space is light, bright and airy and it wasn't too loud. The cafe downstairs offers great drinks (50% off if you are a capital one customer) and even some snacks. They got water, juice etc for sale, so you can take advantage of a flexible space to get some work done. There is staff from Capital One that can help with account questions etc, I didn't have time to do that (work called lol)... but I might do that down the road. They validate for 3h at the garage downstairs also, so easy to get it and out. read more

I had to visit the cafe do to a ongoing issue with mobile check deposit. I get two checks a month for personal loans. They are always the same amount, for the last five months. The app rejects the checks as being duplicate although they are dated a month apart. The customer service recommendation has me taking a morning to drive to the cafe ATM to deposit. I filed a complaint with the complaint department with no action or communication and talked to representative at cafe with no resolution. I started a new saving account with Vanguard for depositing checks. I never did have a cup of coffee just wasted my time to use the ATM. read more

Located in the relatively new Lincoln Square South, this location of Capital One's numerous cafés is an open-concept, industrial-chic, modern space serving up Verve coffee and other assorted drinks and food items, along with various amenities such as free WiFi, lots of tables and chairs, and employees on-site to have a banking conversation if you're interested. I stopped into the Café at around 10:15am on a Tuesday (they open at 10am), and it was about half-full. They immediately took my order of a 12oz drip coffee (usually $4.25, but I had a free drink coupon), and it was ready within 30 seconds. They also have all the other typical beverage options of any other café (e.g. lattes, mochas, teas, etc.), as well as some specialty items (cinnamon ginger latte, anyone?), and they have baked items as well as some lighter breakfast options. Cardholders get half off all handcrafted beverages when paying with their Capital One debit/credit card, which is also an added bonus (otherwise, prices are pretty on-par with a standard coffee shop in the Bellevue area). My coffee was standard, nothing special - it tasted a bit burnt, but it's sourced from Verve Coffee Roasters (Roast Magazine's Roaster of the Year in 2024), so it's definitely not bad! The space is airy and bright, with two floors and lots of natural light streaming in from floor-to-ceiling windows. This was a great space to work for a couple of hours, complete with numerous charging stations. Even half-full, the ambiance was quiet and calm, and I was able to get a lot done. Overall, even if you don't bank with Capital One, this is a quiet café space with decent coffee, and I would certainly recommend it! read more

Hard to beat 50% off and spacious seating! If I had to choose between C1 Cafe and a local coffee shop, it would be difficult for me to not choose the C1 Cafe. Having a C1 card, the 50% off drinks is just too enticing. And the drinks also were quite good! Not the best, but good enough, in my opinon. One downside is, there is only 1 barista who was taking orders, making the coffee, and basically manning the entire cafe, while there were maybe 5 or so bankers standing around doing nothing. The service, drinks, and atmosphere here is phenomenal. The building itself is spectacular and very aesthetic. Well, this place exists at the Capital One Cafe. Yes, it is the same company that has credit cards and virtual banking. It's a Cafe in a bank (or bank in a cafe) essentially and is open to the public. Do you need a Capital One account? No. But if you do come to one a lot, or need a space nearby all the time, opening an account or a credit card wouldn't be a bad idea. There are some beverage perks for account holders, but lest not feel guilty when using the facilities. But when you get inside, it's a space that's well taken cared of and monitored. Along with that, the coffee is tasty as well as the tea choices. Verve Coffee (as of this writing) is the vendor in this space. Vendors may change depending on the city and relationship the coffee provider has with Capital One. But Verve has excellent selections. Along with tea, their versatility in their espresso drink selections are also impressive. My friend ordered Matcha Latte with oatmilk while I ordered a blueberry hibiscus tea. Be advised, I was here on a Saturday afternoon, so there was more opportunities for parking. Come on down, get a hot drink and maybe... open an account at Capital One. read more

The baristas are knowledgeable, and the Peet's coffee they serve is consistently great! The space here is unmatched by any other coffee shop I've been to, as you are able to spread out and enjoy the light without worrying about it being too crowded ever. My first bad review for the cafe, I didn't think it would happen but here we are. When I found out that they switched their coffee from Peet's to Verve, I was super curious because I actually like Peet's. I opted for the specialty honey lavender latte and was so disappointed. I drank less than 1/4 and threw it away. The coffee was so burnt tasting that I didn't have it in me to finish it. You couldn't taste the honey or lavender, just sort of blandish sweet burnt coffee. My friend got the cardamom latte and said hers was burnt tasting also but she said her drink was drinkable. Overall, service was good but quality for me went down. I moved away from the Eastside and always made it a point to come here when I lived close because the drinks were good, guess that's not a thing anymore. read more

As a CapitalOne cardholder of over 10 years I was curious about these cafes. I LOVE the concept of a cafe workspace plus discounted drinks by favorite credit card company. It's a very cozy two-floor space, lots of seating, and quite enough to have a meeting in open space. The coffee options are just ok. TBH, I didn't want to finish my honey lavender latte because of how sweet it was. This would be my cafe of choice to get work done had it not been located at the hardest place in Bellevue to drive around. As kind as the staff are at this cafe, they aren't great reps to turn to if you want help on credit cards. They can give you surface-level information - the same you could do yourself with 5 minutes of online research. To be frank, I felt that I could've been a better salesperson and I knew that half of the answers they were giving me were wrong. I later just called the 800 CapitalOne support and they confirmed that I was right and said the cafe workers don't know anything. Perhaps the point of these cafes aren't to sell, but to just provide human-to-human support to current cardholders, which we need in time of growing AI. I do hope they make more cafes. read more

As a Capital One customer, I am totally enjoying half off on my drinks, especially given drinks are getting only more expensive. ‍ Their Honey Lavender is very nice - I prefer the hot version over the iced one but I prefer hot drinks in general. Also, the Turmeric Ginger Latte is a good one. Plus, if you are a Capital One customer, you have the cafe at your disposal to work. As a CapOne cardholder, it's a no brainer to stop in to get my 50% off drinks! I work remotely here often, and they have a few smaller nooks to take calls in with semi privacy. Free WiFi has always worked well, and everyone is friendly! The hot coffee drinks themselves do lean to be more milk heavy/less flavor from the espresso/syrups, so if you really want the flavors, you probably want to pay extra for more syrups etc. However, I think the cold drinks lean the opposite way of being TOO sweet. So you definitely have to try out different things to figure out what you like best. My go-to was pumpkin pie latte, but I typically get honey lavender. I think the seasonal drinks have more flavor, so I'm going to try more of those next time. Overall, pretty impressive for a bank cafe read more

Located just outside the mall across the park, it's a very nice bank-looking cafe (probably because it is part bank). The bathrooms are clean and there are plenty of tables to sit at to wait for your order. Admittedly the ordering and receiving was quite slow, but I wasn't in a huge rush so it was a relaxing way to pass some time. read more

The young lady working was so happy , helpful and friendly. I told her " I'm here to make a deposit can you tell me where the ATMs are?" She kindly told me Yes! we have two that are 24 hours just so you know! I was like Yesss! Finally. Being in the Portland/ Vancouver area mostly we don't have this advantage. If you have a capital one card then definitely visit. If you don't, you should still give it a try. Cardholders get a discount on handcrafted drinks. The ambiance was great for working, or hanging out. I wish there were better parking options but Bellevue square might be the best bet.
