Once I took the cup, I knew it was not right or the 16oz cup is so light - Expresso + 5 Inch Milk Foam - It took a little bit longer time to let me sip coffee liquid to my tongue, but it is like an expresso drink (1 star) My recommendation is to select more milk in this store for a cup of cuppucino. This 16 oz cup of cappuccino $6.12 is way below the quality of a cup of cappuccino with only one shot at $2.50 from the cafe at the Ovation of the Seas. If this coffee shop would not be at the famous Bellevue Square, I would rate the quality of this drink 1 star. It is worth noting that a complimentary cuppucino at the Westin Club of The Westin LAX, powered by Franke A600 FM CM Superautomatic Coffee Machine, is a 4-star or 4.5-star cuppucino! I had a wonderful experience here. Came for a croissant and they were out of it and they gave me a $5 "oops" card for next time. I wanted something similar to the medicine ball at Starbucks and the barista knew exactly what to do. I also got their breakfast sausage sandwich and it was so good! Good balance of espresso and chocolate. Temperature was perfect too. I feel the drink wasn't distributed well though. The flavor was good in some parts and lacking in others. We are in town for the holidays and needed a caffeine boost. We found the Woods Coffee down the street and loved that there was a drive-through and an inside spot to sit down. There was a line in the drive-through, but it looked like it was moving quickly. We went inside and loved the vibe! There was a little fireplace, many tables to sit at, and a little cubby area where you could close the door for soundproofness. On a different day, I definitely would have brought my laptop and hung out for a bit. When we got to the front of the line, there were a bunch of amazing-looking pastries and other food options. If we hadn't already eaten, I would have ordered some food. They had some great holiday coffee specials, like the peppermint bark mocha with a snowcap, but I'm a pumpkin spice girl and ordered one. The person at the register was very kind and answered all my questions (i.e., do you still have pumpkin spice, and how many shots come in each coffee), and he seemed to enjoy his job. The coffee came out quickly, and my pumpkin spice latte was hot and delicious. My wife said her vanilla latte was also excellent. I love woods coffee! My go to order is an iced latte with a breakfast croissant. Order comes out quickly and always consistent. Staff is friendly and helpful. Always pretty busy on a weekend. My sister and I were excited to try Woods coffee today on our trip to the mall. I ordered a 16oz iced oat milk mocha and my sister ordered a 16 oz iced oat milk vanilla latte. While both of us loved are drinks, there was nothing exceptional about them that made them worth more than seven dollars each. Though my sister did say it's rare to taste the vanilla in a latte and she commends them for how flavourful hers was. I thought the coffee was pretty smooth and after stirring the mocha syrup at the bottom of my cup with a straw, I enjoyed how even the flavour was through my coffee. On a hot day, this was definitely a refreshing way to cool down. My sister didn't like the atmosphere, she thought it was claustrophobic with the fencing and the dark colours. Once we walked in, it felt like walking inside that name-brand coffee house that we see everywhere. You can smell the rich aroma of coffee being brewed inside. Delicious coffee every time! This was where I got my hot mochas, lattes and tea while attending a training in the adjoining hotel. Each flavor I tried tasted perfect. My colleagues said they enjoyed the fruit flavored iced drinks, and mentioned they are extra sweet. This location always seemed packed, so service was a little delayed even though they had at three to five baristas working at a time, plus others taking orders and prepping the food. Nice ambiance with lots of seating, including spots near the fireplace. You can also purchase bags of beans and Woods branded swag. My visit was during the fall so everything and everyone was inside but it looks like they have outdoor seating available in the dryer / warmer months. But with a local feel. This particular location is connected to Hotel 116, but it's not your typical small coffee house. Again, it's large - seating inside and out, and seating that spills outside into the hotel area that is mostly occupied by students. There's even a conference room (not fully enclosed, as it has studio walls) that you can reserve for meetings or a study group. Book club, anyone? I was a guest at Hotel 116 for a few days, so I enjoyed Woods Coffee three days in a row (amongst other coffee shops in Seattle, because y'all have so many great options!). I'm a simple gal when it comes to coffee - no sweeteners or syrups. Just a simple almond or oat milk latte with a touch of cinnamon. My only disappointment was the hot breakfast options - everything has meat (sausage/pork), cheese, or both. So I stuck to lattes each visit and ordered breakfast bites/snacks elsewhere. This Woods coffee location is part of the hotel. There is a shared parking lot and they have a drive thru that does get quite busy. They do have some gluten free food options which is nice. Their drink sizes are different types of trees, normally I get the redwood which is 20 oz or sometimes the sequoia at 24 oz. There are a couple of speciality drinks like the avalanche which is white chocolate, coconut and Carmel, it is pretty good but can be very sweet. It is worth dropping in and trying it out. read more

Safety is at risk walking from parking to store due to drive thru traffic not watching and no signs to not block the crosswalk (not painted clearly). Also the ramp from drive thru to patio is uneven with patio and drop off are not marked or painted. Also, if someone falls because of the levels, right in front of the store manager who is standing outside right where you fell, don't expect her to ask you anything or help in any way. Integrity is another area where the leadership says one thing but doesn't follow through or treat employees with dignity. I was told a year before I fell that they would get their teams on it to fix. Needless to say, that never happened. Lip service to hush me. Leadership is seriously lacking. To be a growing company, opening new stores and drawing customers, it is because of the customer-focused employees who work their butts off for little recognition or compensation. The owner started with a level of care, service and family that many practices are still seen, but consistency and enforcement today are hard to witness. Employees get away with being rude to each other and customers and focus on their conversations while customers are waiting in line for many minutes then no apology for the delay. Plus if the customer is not clear or sure of what they want they are given no patience or suggestions. Seeing employees come and go is common. When female employees are ridiculed for liking a man who believes in God and marriage and treated poorly means leadership is failing and the culture of the company has dramatically changed. To tell a customer that the scripture verse on the bottom of the cup should be taken off and not used shows disrespect and no true regard for diversity and equality. There were employees who worked for three plus years who made less hourly than other employees who were just hired. When they got their reviews and talked pay increases they were offered .25 or .50. No wonder staff always changes! They are not valued or respected. They are overworked and drastically underpaid. When I brought up these and other concerns to the CEO, I was threatened and told to not talk to employees about personal things if I wanted to be allowed to come to their stores. Employees were also mandated how to talk to or relate with me. Who cares about safety or fair and equitable business practices? If they are making a lot of money and growing then they must be doing things right. How dare I or anyone try to advocate for safety or improved productivity and climate?! Most of the employees who truly know what was said and done have since chosen to no longer work for Woods. I chose to stop going to Woods nine months ago and to not give one more cent to a company that is run by a leader who cares so little for me as a customer or for the people who choose to apply, learn, work, grow. I lost a community of friends that I had grown for five years of being a loyal customer. It felt like a divorce and a death all at once. I truly cared about the staff and customers I met and with whom I forged friendships. read more

This is my usual stop on the way to work in the AM. The drive-thru line moves fairly quick and my drinks have always made the right way. The employees are always happy and that makes the biggest difference. One time my drink was made wrong and they ended up replacing my entire order the next day, so great customer service. Ok, so, I've frequented this Woods many manyyyyyy times. Primarily the drive thru. It has always bugged me for the last 5+ years, there is no tap to pay for the drive through. I figured ok, they are "new" not some big proven establishment all these year, give them some time, maybe then can they modernize. Today, I took a different camera bag with me today and forgot to move my wallet to it. Didn't realize it until I had made the order already. I assume that the inside cashier may have tap to pay so I was just going to ask them to take my phone and pay there. But nooooooooo. New guy at the window who I have never seen before dismissed me when I showed my phone and said "cash or credit only, we don't do apple pay." Guy didn't even look me in the eye or show any sign of customer service and began tending to other things away from the window. He realized I wasn't I wasn't going to leave and he just repeated it again and went about his business doing other things. This guy was lucky I was in my car, if he was like that in the store with me I would have made an example of him, believe me. Not sure if it was something he had against "apple" or he was having a bad day, or something else with me...but maybe I'll pay another visit again to let him know whats up. Drive through & sit in coffee right next Chick Fil A which makes a traffic nightmare to get to the coffee place. Drive through is quick, the menu for coffee is visible but the eatables is little far off and difficult to see when the weather is not suitable.
