Créme Brulee Cruffin(I've gotten this three times already!), Honey Lavender Scone
    Sophia W.

I've gone here a couple times now, and I love the quality of their pastries! Street parking can be pretty hard to find, which is a small downside. The cafe gets really busy in the morning, and indoor seating fills up quickly. There is outdoor seating with some heaters, though with how cold the weathers been lately, I prefer getting my bakery to go. I love the crème brûlée cruffin, and the lavender honey scone (also one of my first orders from here) is awesome! It's not surprising that the cruffin is one of their best sellers since it's pretty big and well worth the money. I also appreciate that they include tags for gluten free and vegan options, it'd be cool to see more food using both categories. During my most recent visit, I bought an almond berry cake (the only one that's vegan and gluten free), and I really appreciated the server asking me if I'd like the cake to be packed separately from my other orders. I've bought these pastries to share with friends and family, who've equally enjoyed the treats! Overall, farine is now one of my staple bakery spots in the Eastside!

Came here for bfast from out of town and saw this close to the hotel. Very nice presentation and plenty of seating. Staff was very nice. Belgium waffles were actually good. Better than waffles i had at a pancake house in the same town. Would recommend

We were visiting, and were looking for a breakfast with Gluten Free options, and found this bakery. When we arrived, the bakery was quite busy on Friday morning. We went in, and it's one that you order at the counter, and then look for tables. When we looked at the menu, there were a handful of gluten-free options. There were some pastries that were gluten free but they were in the same cabinet with other pastries. So, we ordered a Farine breakfast, a GF waffle, a orange cardamom mocha, and a hot tea. Luckily we found a small table. The mocha was interesting - there's a piece of orange rind which added some citrus note, and a hint of cardamom added some depth to the mocha. The dishes were average. I think the pastries and some of the drinks can be interesting, but not for those looking for gluten free options.

I had never heard of this bakery before, but their display of goods was too tantalizing to pass up. We walked in just to check out what they had, and what do you know, we came out with a couple of items.... Baguette ($3) - Three dollar baguette from a legitimate bakery in this area, when competitors are normally priced $5-$7? No way... after ordering one, I figured out why it's only $3 - it's more of a demi-baguette rather than a full size one. It has decently developed flavor and crust - I wish it were baked just a tad longer to develop more golden browning. As it stands, some portions of the crust are a bit too soft, making the baguette compress quite a bit while cutting into it. But it's not completely underbaked, so there are some good crustier areas. The interior has good flavor and the crumb isn't too dried out, although not particularly moist. It has a pleasing chew and is generally a good texture. It's not the best baguette around, but it's good enough for the price, for the area. (4/5) Creme Brulee Cruffin ($5.50) - There's no torched sugar on the custard itself, instead, it's mostly along the rim. It's difficult to tell the lamination quality due to the heavy filling compressing the dough. The filling is robust, nicely eggy and vanilla flavored. It's set well like a thick pudding. The pastry is otherwise pleasingly sweet and slightly buttery with a good chew and nicely baked crust. (4/5) I wasn't expecting to just walk across such a good bakery in downtown Redmond. I will definitely be back in the future to try more.

This is probably hands down one of my favorite bakery in Redmond Downtown. I've been coming here since it opened and have tried a myriad of menu items, ranging from food to pastries to drinks. They all excel, especially the pastries as I have a huge sweet tooth and they never disappoint. Also need to mention how freshly made everything is. The staff bakes everything every morning and will be restocking periodically until they run out. The croissants are also super flaky and crunchy. The location in Redmond can get pretty crowded depending on when you go, so plan to go before 12 pm especially on weekends if you want to snag some of their popular pastries, such as tarts or eclairs, otherwise they'll be sold out. The location is longer than it is wide, and it offers several tables along with outdoor seating. However, due to the unique structure (due to the building they're under) it can get pretty crammed on weekends, so plan accordingly when you visit. Overall, highly recommended!

This place was super busy on a Saturday morning & I can see why! This has to be the best breakfast and bakery in Redmond hands down! (& it's local to Washington!) This is a small place with not a whole lot of inside seating but a nice patio on a nice day! They have a case full of really yummy looking baked goods & a full menu to order from. You place your order & find a seat & they bring your order to you. It was a hard choice whether to order from the menu or the pastry case. I decided on the croissant eggs Benedict and a latte from the menu. Seems like the croissant Benedict is a popular dish as that's what most people around me had as well. The portions here are huge and every bite is amazing! Croissant Benedict is so unique! It was so good and the whole thing was just perfect! I love that you can get half green salad and half potatoes as your side! One of these halves would've been plenty but to get one of each is a great deal! My meal was excellent and I can't wait to come back and eat my way through the menu and the pastry case.

I'm a huge fan of Farine! Their pastries, breads and sandwiches are to die for. Not expensive, super authentic and absolutely delicious. I've been to their Bellevue outlet a few times and tried the Redmond one, was amazing as always. The place is pretty and get busy, so plan accordingly. The ambience is great too. Highly recommend their eclairs, their seasonal menu, and the avacado Toast Tartine!

    Crème brûlée cruffin

I've been eyeing this place for a while and I'm glad I finally got to try it! It's a very cute French bakery and everyone I talked to was very friendly. I saw another review raving about the crème brûlée cruffin, and I love crème brûlée so of course I had to try it. Because these are premade we got this first as our "appetizer" and wow. We absolutely demolished it. So so so good, like 9/10 good! The crème brûlée part was nice and light, not overly sweet and didn't make the cruffin part soggy which I appreciated. The cruffin itself was dusted in a sugar combo and was soft with a touch of crunch on the outside! Would come back to get this again alone We also ordered the breakfast sandwich and french toast which we both enjoyed, although not quite as much as the cruffin. The breakfast sandwich had a yummy cherry tomato "relish" that (thankfully) did not actually represent relish, but prevented the sandwich from being too dry. That being said, both my boyfriend and I agreed it would have been better with a little mayo-esque spread. The bacon was delish and I always love arugula in my sandwiches. The eggs could've used a little something to add flavor as well. Overall I'd give it a 7.5/10! The French toast was yummy and sweet without being too much! It was on a thick, well cooked bread and came with a generous portion of strawberries, whipped butter, cream, and syrup. 8.5/10! We came on a Friday at 11 and it was pretty busy, with all of the tables inside and out, and most of the bar seating taken. I can imagine that it is packed full on the weekends!

Love this spot for a chill brunch! There is a wide selection of pastries ready and food to order. Everything looked amazing! Order at the counter and then the food is delivered at the table. Note this spot can get crowded on the weekends! Expect to hover around for a table during more popular brunch times, or be willing to sit outside (there are heaters which are nice). I'll definitely be returning!

    1. The chocolate orange cardamom and mocha was so intensely sweet and not too hot when I asked for a little bit more almond milk to go in it. The manager said no he would have to charge me. That would mean another $.75 for a tiny dash of it. 2. They also charge regardless if you have your lactose intolerant. Did you know it's part of the American disability act of your lactose intolerant. Starbucks no longer charges and that is one of the reasons 3. I was originally gonna give it a four star and see if they changed the up charge in the future or at least reduced it to 10 cents. Many coffee places will just work their business so that they don't need to gouge people who are lactose intolerant or who make this choice for ethical reasons. If anyone's interested to learn more, just look at the research switch for good Anyways, I was told I should email Oliver thr owner. The drink is overly sweet and only warm Most places would have not bad than I to add a little more hot almond milk, or they would've offered to redo it without my even suggesting. So over seven dollars And very mediocre at best. Taste like a watery mocha heavy on the hot chocolate The only thing they offered me with some hot water to try to address it

If you are looking for a spot to set up your laptop and chill, this could be your go to. That said, the service was on the slower side. I ordered ahead on the app thinking it would speed things up, but when I arrived they had not even started on my order yet. Then the drinks themselves took a while to make on top of that. The staff is mostly college students and they are friendly enough, but the workflow could definitely use some tightening up. On to the drinks. The matcha latte was just okay, nothing that really stood out. I have a feeling this place is better known for something else, probably their Yemeni coffee or tea, so I would recommend exploring that side of the menu instead. One thing to note on the tea though: it came out extremely hot. We had an accident where it tipped over and burnt my friend's hand. Mostly our fault, but just something to be mindful of when you are getting settled in. Parking wise, I believe there is a lot in the back which is a nice bonus. Overall a solid spot for the ambiance even if the drinks and service are still finding their footing.

They use high-quality ingredients and have significantly less sugar than typical American bakeries. It's light, airy, and not overwhelmingly sweet. Excellent Savory Selection: Beyond the sweets, their savory pastries and baked goods are top-tier and always fresh.
