He found exactly the car that my husband wanted. It took us a couple of months to be delivered to Cedar Park, but that car did not sit in the parking lot with the TX heat. 2026 Hybrid Camry, top of the line, White exterior, White interior with leather and ac/heater seats. Beautiful car!!! Nate delivered the kind of service, with passion that we are lacking so much every where we go. Management was great as well, fixing a couple of problems with sales people. Thinking about a second car? I will go back to him

Right from the jump, he was incredibly straightforward. There was zero pressure, zero hassle, and absolutely no need to waste time haggling over the price. He gave it to us straight, which is so rare and refreshing in the car-buying world. Our Finance Manager, Michael was equally amazing. Financing a vehicle can usually feel like pulling teeth, but Michael made it a breeze. He was efficient, thorough, and just a great guy to talk to. I still can't believe it, but we spent a grand total of only three hours at the dealership. That included the test drive of three used Sequoias, picking the one we liked out of the three, the vehicle inspection, and getting all the final paperwork squared away with finance. We've all heard or experienced the horror stories of spending 6 to 8 hours at a dealership, but Chris and Michael valued our time and had us on the road in a flash. What stood out to us the most was the sheer respect we received. Walking into dealerships can sometimes feel intimidating, but Chris and Michael provided a truly delightful customer experience without a single ounce of judgment or prejudice. They treated us like family from the moment we walked through the doors. We love our new (used) Sequoia Capstone and we can recommend Toyota of Cedar Park without a doubt. Go see (ask for) Chris and Michael they will take incredible care of you! Now the great part of the experience we learned Chris was a veteran like ourselves. But unfornalutely he served in the Navy, my wife and I are both Army veterans. Go Army! Beat Navy!!

They were super busy, I stood at the counter for some time before someone asked me to scan the QR to be processed. If that information was mentioned upfront, I would have saved myself some time. After that a lady took the keys and asked to what in the waiting area. Appraisal would take 30-40 mins. Was called like in 20-30 mins amd received my quote. I didnt sell to them but apart from them being busy inspite of appointment time allocated, it all went smoothly.

Let me start off by saying this was my first and last time purchasing a car online. My experience…read morewas horrible. I would rather have the expectations of being in a dealership for 5 hours instead of wasting my time online, filling out all of the documents and being under the impression that I would be in and out in 30 minutes and ask the same questions that were answered online and on the phone when someone from carmax called me. 1.. The process totally wasted my time. I spent a good amount of time online filling out all documentations.Answering all questions only to be asked those same exact questions. When I got to the dealership. 2. I got to the dealership roughly at 4:30. I was told that I would be out numerous times within thirty minutes. All I would have to do is sign and go. Well, that was the first misleading statement from carmax. I did not leave the dealership until 9:30. 3. The salesperson that was assigned to me.His name was ramsey. I never felt comfortable with this guy.He never made me feel as if my best interest was being met. The process felt just like a process.Give me in, get me out.Let him move on to the next person. He spoke to me in a very condescending wait, in fact, I had to correct him a couple of times about the way he was speaking to me. He spoke to me as f I was a individual who lacked the intelligence to understand the process. 4. Ramsay also didn't give me the full carmax experience of when you buy a new car. while waiting 44 and a half hours, I did see other salespeople. When they finished up their sale, walk with their clients to their new car and give them the yellow bow treatment with the pitcher. Well, needless, say that is not an experience that I got with ramsey. As I said previously, everything seemed like a rush process, he made me totally feel like I was an inconvenience to him.And wasting his time. 5. Let's talk about the appraisal process. Now, this isn't something that i'm really upset about, because you can't really have a vehicle appraised online and have an actual good appraisal without an actual appraiser.Looking at the car. Online, they told me, initially I was gonna get $8000 for my car, well, turns out, I only got $6400. 6. Let's talk about the car. I purchased a 2024 BMW 330I with the M2 Sports package with 7,100 miles on it. After spending 425 hours in the dealership, it was finally time for me to get my car. WELL THE FIRST THING I NOTICED WHEN I GOT INSIDE THE CAR WAS THAT THE FLOOR MATS WERE GENERIC FLOOR MATS THAT DID NOT FIT THE CAR AT ALL. AND WHEN I SAY THEY DID NOT FIT THE CAR AT ALL, MEANING THE FLOOR MATS ACTUALLY COVERED THE GAS PEDAL. i brought this to the attention of the floor sales manager. Instead of coming up with helpful solutions from the beginning I was told that the pitchers online did not come with floor mats.So they just threw some floor mats in there. Again, I told this guy that this is a safety issue. The floor mats literally covered the gas.Pedal, and they let me drive off that way. They told me to find some floor mats under a hundred and fifty dollars, and they were reimburse me. Now I'm not the sharpest knife in it. Kitchen drawer? But I would always think that a dealership's top priority is to make sure they're letting you leave in a nice safe vehicle At the very least, they could have said.Hey, let us take these car mats out this vehicle. And when you buy some new ones, just bring us the receipt and reimburse you.No that did not happen. 7. Let's continue to talk about the car. Before carmax sells your car. They are supposed to do a quality inspection on the vehicle. I'm under the impression that this vehicle did not get a dural quality.Inspection. My reasoning for saying that is because the following day When I took the car to where I work at which is ABM W dealership It was pointed out to me that the windshield had a very large crack in it. Now to give carmax credit, they did get that problem.Taken care of they replaced the entire windshield. The car was also missing all four valve stem caps. Does summit all up my first and last car buying experience with carmax was an utter failure. The only reason I left with this car is because of myself. Pride, because I was telling everyone I was buying this car, and I had to deal wrapped up.That's the sole reason that I bought this car. I'm pretty sure that ramsey and his entire sales team mayfield, as if they got one over me by selling me this car at the non negotiated price that I wanted online and then me still buying a car after the whole entire bad experience. Well I may have left with this car But carmax will never see me again as a customer, and I hope that these words read to someone before they make a decision to buy a vehicle from you all..

First of all, there is exactly ONE decent person in this entire joke of a dealership--Darius. He…read moretried his best to help me, was respectful and kind the whole time, and that's honestly more than I can say for the rest of these clowns. Other than that, I don't even know where to start because everything else is a complete nightmare. I walk in, and immediately they're harassing me to finance--despite me turning them down multiple times. Then, they drag their feet for 45 minutes just to value my trade-in. When they finally come back, they throw out a laughable offer--Twelve thousand dollars! TWELVE THOUSAND DOLLARS! And let me remind you, this is a 2020 Jeep Wrangler Ultimate Rubicon, fully loaded, with 130,000 miles. The dealership across the street offered me $20k without a second thought. After nearly half an hour of them trying to pull some scam--probably because I'm only 18--they finally say, "Come back with your money, and we'll value your trade at $18k and get this deal done." Yeah, right. I came back prepared--my dad with me--and suddenly they're trying to pull the same stunt again. This time, they drop the trade-in value to $11k. And get this, there are two identical ones just like mine across the country, both listed for $28k. They tell us, "We can get you out the door with $4k cash," and then... nope--they come back with a paper saying $7k and won't shut up about forcing this deal through. Finally, we decide enough is enough and leave. And what do I see outside? The general manager cursing out a customer--using slurs and disgusting language I won't even repeat. Clearly, this crooked, rotten place is run by monsters. If you value your sanity and your money, do NOT waste your time here. And if you're tired of their shady tricks, remember--those exit doors legally can't open inwards, you can get them shut down pretty quick.

My vehicle sat at this dealership for over a month during the first visit, and I received zero proactive updates from my service advisor. I had to personally track down the service manager just to get basic information. When my car was finally returned on January 28, 2026, the problem wasn't even fixed. In April, my car went into limp mode and had to go back in. New advisor, same experience -- weeks of silence, no updates, no communication. I was told it might be a transmission fluid issue, and that the ECM replaced during the prior visit may not have been the root cause. I paid for a repair that didn't fix anything. When I was told my car was ready and drove out to pick it up, it still wasn't repaired. To make matters worse, the underlying issue turned out to be a known Chevrolet service bulletin. For a repair tied to a known manufacturer defect, that is completely unacceptable. I escalated to the general manager, Jay, and while he did help get my vehicle returned, no meaningful effort was made to make this right. A verbal apology does not cover six months of poor communication, two failed service visits, and a bill that should never have been mine to pay. If you value your time, your money, or basic honesty, take your vehicle elsewhere.

STAY AS FAR AWAY FROM THIS PLACE AS POSSIBLE!!!…read more I purchased a 2023 vehicle from this dealership for $17,500. The car seemed fine, and I thought I was getting a decent deal. That turned out to be a huge mistake. Less than a month later, the vehicle broke down and was leaking oil everywhere. I had it towed back to their service department, where I was told the high-pressure fuel pump had failed and that my warranty would cover the repair. A week later, the story changed. Now they claimed a bolt holding the fuel pump in place was broken and that they would need to lower the engine to remove it. Conveniently, that repair was not covered under warranty. When I questioned whether the bolt could have been broken during their own repair attempt, I was basically told to "take their word for it" that they didn't do it. They had no proof whatsoever. In the end, I was forced to pay another $3,300 out of pocket for what they called a "discounted" labor charge. After another week, they called and said the vehicle was ready. I picked it up and drove away. Less than five miles later, the check engine light came on. I immediately brought it back. Now, suddenly, I'm being told I need a catalytic converter and another $1,800 repair that also isn't covered. Funny how there were no catalytic converter codes, no check engine lights, and no issues before they had possession of the vehicle for weeks. But somehow, after thousands of dollars in repairs and less than five miles of driving, a completely different major repair is now needed. What makes it even worse is that throughout this entire process, I was repeatedly reminded that if I had purchased the extended warranty they were trying to sell me, I wouldn't have had to pay these costs. It felt less like customer service and more like a sales pitch after the fact. This dealership is great at selling cars. Unfortunately, that's where the positive experience ends. The service department has been the most frustrating, expensive, and disappointing experience I've ever had with a vehicle purchase. Thousands of dollars later, I still don't have confidence in the car, and all I seem to get in return is another repair bill and an apology for the inconvenience.
