Ilove that they come pick up and drop it back off - so convenient. They were so kind and heard all my thoughts about what I was looking for and said they would reach out with any questions. The update: When I first got the quilt back it wasn't what I expected with the material that was used for the patches. But I'm adding this part to speak to Burrell's incredible response and solution. He offered to rework it and was very sincere on making sure I was happy with the finished product. After I found a fabric that was the same material and matched the style better, he redid the patches, sent me pictures before redoing them to make sure it was what I envisioned, and returned my quilt again. I absolutely love it and am just so grateful for how he handled everything. Highly, highly recommend and will definitely contact him for anything I need in the future.

These were important as it was my son's wedding. Yes, I waited for the last minute. But, it worked out and the owner delivered them to me. Beautiful dresses, amazing work, timeless. My alterations are normally complex, but the turnaround time is impressive. My dry cleaning experience has been okay, but again I'm overall pleased with their service, professionalism, and attention to detail.

I don't know why they would remove the buttons, maybe it was to press the shirt, but they could have looked for them and returned them without incident and full understanding on my part if they did not lie about the video evidence. Luckily my tailor provide several extra buttons and I had them with me. I am still a few short, but not satisfied with the poor customer service from the man who I dealt with. I did thank the woman for her assistance, so I am not the only one who lost their temper. The man is bad for business. I won't return and I will continue to promote this review. All I did was drop off a brand new 5 piece suit with formal shirt with black buttons to be pressed before my daughter's wedding. I picked it up the same day paid over 42 dollars and the next morning when I pulled it out to wear the shirt was the wrong shirt or if it was the black buttons were gone. I called and the owner says bring it back we have a camera. He then says it's the same shirt I brought in. He pointed to the camera screen and watched it 3 times claiming the black buttons were not on shirt when I brought it and he told me to leave. I told him to show me the buttons on video, he would not and then he got aggressive came from behind counter to intimidate into leaving. I told him I needed his name and he refused. A woman came out and I should her the spare buttons my tailor provided and she put them on over the existing buttons. This business is shaky to say least. Go somewhere else if you need any dry cleaning or pressing services. The owner lies and can't be trusted. The owner rebutted my previous post but failed to mention that they would not show me the video in spite of my asking several times to bring it into my view. If there is video evidence, PROVIDE it.

Mr. Kim is fantastic! He did such a lovely job with my bridesmaids dress. He hemmed it exactly how I wanted, and the stitching was so perfect and clean. The price was reasonable and fair. His shop does smell a bit of cats and cigarettes when you walk in. I was mentally prepared to take my dress to the dry cleaner's after it was finished, however, I think he keeps garments well wrapped, because when I brought it home there was no smell at all. That could just be due to the fabric of my dress, but all to say, it posed no issue for me. Will definitely be back!

He is pricey and worth every penny. Every time I've been tempted elsewhere, I always regret it (and Sammy fixes it). In his quiet and contentious way, he takes care of you. Not only will he listen to you and give you exactly what you want, he'll also give you what you didn't know you needed. Make no mistake: Sammy is in charge, and that's a very good thing. Just the other day, I walked out with a blazer that looks custom-made. Sammy's been kind and gracious to me over the years. I can ask no more than that.

WORST TAILORING EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE DO NOT GO HERE!!!…read more I brought multiple clothing items in for alterations on May 12, including an expensive dress. I returned on May 19 to pick them up as instructed and was told the alterations were not finished. I was then told to come back again later that week, only for the work to still not be completed. On May 27, I was finally able to pick up only half of my clothing and was still required to pay for all alterations -- including work that had not even been completed yet. The worst part was the damage done to my dress. The alterations were done so poorly that the dress is no longer wearable. I took it to another alterations professional who told me the damage is likely not fixable. When I returned to show the issues and ask for a refund, I was told it was "not their fault" and refused any resolution even after trying the dress on in front of them and showing how much it impacted the fit of the dress (one side has a huge gap exposing the bra...!!!) They also held on to the other 2 articles of clothing and insisted they still tailor them. Refusing to give me a refund or my property back. When I finally returned to get them, they work they had done was sloppy and the shoulders still did not fit. One piece they did not even do the work that was paid for (adding on additional buttons), but they did hem the shoulders too tight for me to wear. All and all I am out the $115 i spent on alterations, and now have not 1 not 2 but 3 pieces of unwearable clothing. I will be taking them to another alterations place but have already been warned that the damage might be too much to fix. I would strongly caution others before trusting this business with valuable clothing. My dress is destroyed and I am out hundreds of dollars on damaged clothes and services not rendered as agreed. I have never written a bad review in my life, if i could give this place 0 stars I would.

After being assured they could make the adjustments, I waited a week and picked them up trusting their reputation. Upon taking them home it was immediately obvious they raised the hem of one leg by a whole inch and a quarter! Further, it seems they messed up once already during the process as there are clear tailoring marks further up the pant leg that were not there before. If they can make such amateur mistakes with something as simple as adjusting a hemline (ruining a pair of pants in the process), I would never trust them with more delicate alterations.

I've taken three things there to be altered, and each time, the same thing happened: First, she quoted me a very high number. Each time, when I balked at the initial estimate, she said, "Well, what do you want to pay?" When I said less, she dramatically lowered the figure. I still think I paid too much based on my better experiences elsewhere in Capitol Hill, but one time, the $40 alteration (which was simply taking in a two-inch section of fabric by just a little) made the fit of a pair of pants worse. When I showed her where the alteration they made caused a fabric pucker near it, she just kept repeating: "We did not touch that! We did not touch that!" and would not accept any responsibility for the new issue, nor did she offer a solution or refund. I will never return. She clearly tries to get as much as she can from customers for jobs that have no pre-defined pricing structure and does not show any interest in solving customer complaints.
