The owner viewed the video at least three times, but refused to let my husband see it and told him to leave his store. This owner has no knowledge of customer service. Instead of trying to rectify the situation, he lied, was rude and hostile to his paying customer. I would not recommend this business if you expect to be treated with respect, dignity, and kindness.

Once I ran out of collar stays and stuck a couple of my wife's bobby pins in my dress shirt collar. They found the bobby pins and gave me a bunch of collar stays for free :)

Mr. Kim is fantastic! He did such a lovely job with my bridesmaids dress. He hemmed it exactly how I wanted, and the stitching was so perfect and clean. The price was reasonable and fair. His shop does smell a bit of cats and cigarettes when you walk in. I was mentally prepared to take my dress to the dry cleaner's after it was finished, however, I think he keeps garments well wrapped, because when I brought it home there was no smell at all. That could just be due to the fabric of my dress, but all to say, it posed no issue for me. Will definitely be back!

This latest project was a real miracle because the dress was actually too narrow in the torso for me. She took fabric from other parts of the dress to insert invisible panels where I needed a couple of inches. Amazing! I really wanted to give this place a chance - and I did. The woman who owns it can be nice, but…read morethat changes if things go wrong. I've taken three things there to be altered, and each time, the same thing happened: First, she quoted me a very high number. Each time, when I balked at the initial estimate, she said, "Well, what do you want to pay?" When I said less, she dramatically lowered the figure. I still think I paid too much based on my better experiences elsewhere in Capitol Hill, but one time, the $40 alteration (which was simply taking in a two-inch section of fabric by just a little) made the fit of a pair of pants worse. When I showed her where the alteration they made caused a fabric pucker near it, she just kept repeating: "We did not touch that! We did not touch that!" and would not accept any responsibility for the new issue, nor did she offer a solution or refund. I will never return. She clearly tries to get as much as she can from customers for jobs that have no pre-defined pricing structure and does not show any interest in solving customer complaints.
