One of the latest treats I enjoyed was the Coffee Kahlua Bundt Cake (Feb2022), a rich coffee and dark chocolate flavor, sweet, gooey, and moist cake. Highly recommend it if you like coffee and chocolate desserts. I haven't tried the breakfast burrito, but a few family and friends that had the pleasure mentioned it was good and satisfied their appetites. I'll have to try it soon! After many visits I finally had a chance to try the infamous breakfast burrito from the Cappuccino Cart. And yes, it's really as good as people say! Stumbled upon the cart on a rainy day and ordered the chorizo breakfast burrito along with a kahula coffee and mickey gingerbread cookie. Sadly this spot does not accept magic key discounts. The burrito is hefty, fresh, and hot! I couldn't eat it for about a half hour but when I unwrapped it, it was still steaming! The tortilla is soft and chewy, plenty of fluffy scrambled eggs with spicy chorizo and a fresh cooling salsa. The kahula was interesting as well. I expected just coffee with kahula liquor but it was actually kahula "coffee" if that makes sense! It was hot, warming and had great flavors of kahula. The only downside is that they give it to you in a plastic mug instead of a closed to-go cup so you need to be careful while walking. Had originally came here searching for the pineapple filled donut topped with meringue that I saw in Disney food blogs for Pixar Fest, but alas there was none to be had. Talk to the CM behind the counter and they explained that they switch up the menu every week, and they don't really know what types of donuts they will get in until the following week. First stopping by there this weekend all because the other cart near paradise grill was out of the Mago Pineapple pie! I was able to snag one of those and the Kahula Bundt cake. I also tried the Char Sui bao. Turns out all of it was extremely delicious! Considering how picky I was for the Char Sui Bao, it actually hit the stop and was made right like how it should be when you go to the Chinese dim sum restaurants. Thank god they got that bao right, I would have been frustrated if it was really bad. The Bao was pipping out for at least 20 minutes! I was eating that thing while standing in line. Definitely coming back for their breakfast burrito and whatever new offerings they have since I stop by every month with my Disney pass. This tiny little cappuccino cart is located in Disneyland, right next to Sleeping Beauty's castle. Every morning at opening time, they unveil some heavenly donuts. The donuts vary from time to time, especially during holidays. Magnificently decorated and absolutely scrumptious, I also come right when the park opens for a sweet-treat for breakfast. So far my favorite has been any donut covered in fruit -- especially the strawberries and creme donut. Unfortunately, once you get hooked on a favorite, its unlikely that you'll see the same one again since their donut menu is ever-changing. They don't seem to create a lot of donuts because once they are out (usually within a couple hours) -- that's it! Well, until 6PM that is -- which is when they restock only to be sold out to the larger evening crowd. With good reason too -- these donuts are really delicious -- if you need to rotate from the routine of apple fritters or beignets -- make sure to try the donuts here. I will admit the presentation of both doughnuts was appetizing, but don't deliver a "wow" moment to your taste buds. Rohlinism: There are times in every person's life when he or she wishes they could taste with their eyes. The chocolate long john had a good chocolate icing and I liked the texture of the chocolate pearls, but the peanut butter cups tasted a little old. At $5.75 per doughnut, the price is prohibitive even for Disneyland when there is nothing gourmet in the flavor department. I know people that have scoffed at $3.00 per doughnut, these same people might riot if forced to pay almost six dollars. Unfortunately for passholders, this is one of the few places left in the park where you won't get your discount making the price tag even harder to digest! The Vanilla Iced Doughnut had a decent flavor from the icing and I liked the candy corn, but the Oreo pieces were soft when I was expecting crunchy which was a disappointment in the texture department. Again there was nothing really bad about the doughnut, but my wife put it best when she said, "It is a doughnut." The cappuccino cart recently reopened and was moved from DL to DCA. Good news - you can order ahead on the mobile app! If you plan to grab an AM coffee you definitely should order ahead as the line for those who didn't was incredibly long. Even with ordering ahead, we still had to wait ~10 minutes after we arrived. Honestly, the coffee itself was super forgettable and meh. I got a latte with soy milk. It had WAY too much milk - I could barely taste the espresso. My husband just got a plain drip coffee, which he said was average. However, it is one of the few spots you can get an espresso drink inside the park, so it gets the job done! read more
